ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: You must be a resident of FL. live in a single family home – no renters. Must be at least 25 years of age. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, they must be current on vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. Terriers typically live 12-15 years, so keep their lifespan in mind if you are thinking of adopting. Your age should be appropriate for Their estimated lifespan. Families with older children that can manage a puppy will be considered.

Welcome to the tail wag club! I am a Terrier / Chihuahua / Dachshund mix puppy looking for my fur-ever homes. Aren’t I cute, I am a high energy puppy that loves to play, chase, explore, chew, cuddle, and nap. My Mommy is Keegan, she got “dopted” recently, (yeah for Mommy!) – (photo included). She was about 12 lbs or so, BUT….we DON’T know who our Daddy was, therefore, we have NO IDEA how big I’ll get! Could be 15, 20, or even 30+ lbs.! Please keep that in mind, ok?

I am rocking the pee-pad training and then will graduate to potty training and leash training, (of course with your guidance) If you’re a really active human and you are willing and able to accept this challenge and welcome me into your heart and home, I might be the pupper for you! I will keep you on your toes for sure!

Puppies are tons of fun but do require ALOT of work and training on your family’s part to be the best pup they can be! They need love, attention and lots of consistency especially for housebreaking! Their little bladders can’t hold it all day so please make sure you can commit to the puppy not being left alone for long periods of time. If that’s not possible, please consider one of our adult dogs which might be better suited for your lifestyle!

The puppies have been spayed/neutered, given age appropriate vaccines, microchipped and started on heartworm and flea prevention. You will be responsible for the remainder of their puppy vaccines at your Veterinarians office.

If you’re interested in one of the pups, please visit www.viprescue.org. and fill out an adoption application. We are all Volunteers at VIP Rescue, with jobs and families of our own. Please be kind and patient while we process applications. Only approved applicants will be contacted.

Dog Name: Maisey / Holiday

DOB: 9/28/2012

Breed: Lhasa Apso / Havanese mix

Weight: 13 lbs Gender: Female

House trained: Yes, as long as she is let out frequently

Location: Holiday, FL

Gets along with cats: Unknown

Gets along with dogs: Yes

**INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL BE CLOSED**

Maisy is a beautiful 11 year old girl who is thought to be a Lhasa Apso / Havanese mix gal who weighs 13 lbs. When she got to us, she had kennel cough ( similar to a people cold) and was immediately prescribed medicine for it and we gave her lots of time to relax and recuperate before she got the big stuff done at the “dog”ter office.

Maisy hit the jackpot when she landed with VIP Rescue. We love her. She is a sweet girl who is house trained as long as you get her out frequently. She loves walks as well as hanging out with her foster siblings in the back yard. A fence is not required as long as she is on a leash when she is outside.

We promised Maisey to give her the best life from here on in. She was soooo matted upon intake, as well as needing a dental, a spay and several lumpy bumps that needed to be removed, all on top of her kennel cough. She got all that and more. Spa day was first, she received a good brushing and most of the mats and knots came out easily then she got a bubble spa bath. Next was a visit back to the “dog”ter. While she was getting a much needed dental (with extractions), she was spayed and the “Dog”ter removed several of the lumpy bumps, she still has some that are not considered a health concern.

She is now on the road to recovery and feeling so much better!

She loves to sleep in the human bed, doggy bed(s) or anywhere soft she can find. She does not do stairs. Her new home will need to be a single story and minimal to no steps to go in or out. She doesn’t like being left alone for long periods of time, so if you are retired or work from home that would be best for her.

She loves other pups and would do well with similar sized pup or would be ok as your one and only.

Maisey is now spayed, up to date on her vaccines, had a dental, is microchipped and current on her flea and heartworm prevention.

If you think you might be the family for her, please submit your application for review at VIPRescue.org.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: You must be a Florida resident, and to qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, current on vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care.

911 – We need your help. PLEASE adopt this guy before he is a “Foster Fail” !! His foster mom is falling fast and hard for this sweet guy!! Ha!

Can you believe this cuteness overload????

Hi, I’m Captain Jack, a sweet, happy, itty bitty guy. I am a 10 years young, 4.8 lbs maybe Pomeranian mixed with???? According to my vet records, maybe a long haired chihuahua???? Does it really matter? Cause, you know, I’m just THAT CUTE! I might be the cutest thing you see today!!! I am always smiling, check out my photos attached. I look at my foster mom so lovingly (not in a I’m hungry feed me kind of way). LOL!! But I do love food (and my foster Mommy more…shhhh…don’t tell her, k? )

I love my walks, I might even prance a little when I walk. I’m happy to hang out on a doggy bed or cuddle up next to you on the couch or chair, I don’t take up much room you might not even notice that I’m in your lap I am so itty bitty small! I love sunning myself in the yard when it’s cool outside (with you right there with me of course). I know to go outside to do my business. I will come when you call with a happy prance, smile and tail wag. With my long hair I will require regular brushing, baths and grooming. Please take into consideration the time and money it takes for my care for for me to keep up with my handsomeness. I get along with my foster siblings, maybe too much for one of the girly dogs. Ha! (She’s such a pretty little thing) I would be good with smaller pups in my new home, no big doggies for me cause’ come on, there are not many smaller… I would probably be ok as your one and only too. I would love an active family. Someone who will take me on sniffy walks (early morning or evening time when it’s not too hot out) and get me out and about to see all the neighbors. Don’t let my age fool you I plan on hanging out for several more years.

I just got a check up at the “dog”ter and I am now neutered, up to date on my vaccines, had a dental, am microchipped and current on my flea and heartworm prevention.

If you think you might be the family for me, please submit your application for review at VIPRescue.org

What a pretty little senior girl we have for adoption! Sweet Tricia is an 11 year old Shih tzu mix gal who weighs just 11.8 lbs. When Tricia came to us, she wasn’t in the best shape, and from the looks of her she was most likely used for breeding. That has all changed now, and with your help, love and patience, let’s give her a great life. She was severely matted upon intake, and needed a dental, a spay, a hernia repair and a skin tag removed. Wow… Tricia got all that and more. Spa day was first, we did our best to keep as much of her beautiful hair as we could and got rid of the nasty matted mess she accumulated. The places where she got the short hair cut will grow back and match up with the rest of her coat in no time. She got a “paw”dicure which she desperately needed and a cute little bow when the groom and bath were completed. Next it was a trip to the “dog”ter, where she started with a dental (a few teeth needed to be removed (actually one fell out on its own, ugh. 🙁 then the spay, hernia repair and last but not least the lumpy bump removed. She is now on the road to recovery and most definitely a better life! Tricia loves to sleep in the human bed, doggy bed(s) or anywhere soft she can find. She is house trained when let out frequently and enjoys her walks. She doesn’t care to be left alone for long periods of time, so if you are retired or work from home that would be ideal. Tricia loves other pups and would do well with a similar sized pup in the home or would be ok as your one and only.

Tricia is spayed, up to date on her vaccines, had a fresh dental, is microchipped and current on her flea and heartworm prevention.

Hello, Hello, Hello, my name is Ignatius, Iggy for short!  I am a 9 years young bichon frise according to my vet records, but I have the body of a basset hound and the happiest smiling-iest terrier face you have ever seen!!  Don’t worry, the few times I “talk”, I bark, I don’t howl like a hound dog.  I currently weigh 26 pounds and I definitely need to lose a few.  I would love to take you for a walk.  I much prefer it when I am in the driver’s seat.  If you try to guide me, I may put on the brakes, but I still love to be outside with you.

I have a long (very long) history with the vet.  Mostly due to my allergies that read like the periodic table of elements song.  My foster mom will make sure you have a list so we can stay as healthy as possible.  I take eye drops for my dry eyes and will need that for the rest of my life.  I don’t mind getting my medicine, especially when there is a yummy treat waiting for being a good boy!  When I first came to VIP, I had to have some fatty tumors removed because they were infected.  I handled the surgery and recovery like a champ.  I never even had to wear the cone of shame.  My foster mom just had to remind me not to lick my stitches.  I love to chew my nails and lick my feet, just remind me to stop.  Too much licking can lead to an infection.  It’s helpful if you can wipe my feet after I go outside to get rid of those pesky allergens.

I LOVE sunbathing, as long as you stay outside with me.  My favorite game is when my foster mom chases me around the house.  It’s so much fun!  I let her catch me so I can get back scratches.  I also love long naps (I snore), but my foster mom insists it’s a cute snore.  When my foster mom says it’s time for bed, I go right over to the bed and wait to be picked up.  I have short legs so I can’t jump.  Just let me know which side of the bed is mine!  I’ve never shown any interest in getting up on the couch or dog beds.  I like the floor during the day.  When I want attention, I will come over and boop you with my nose.  Just to say Hi or let you give me some ear rubs.  I’ll also rub up against your legs like a cat.  It’s just my way of showing affection.

I know to go outside to do my business, but I don’t ask to go out.  Once I know which door is the outside door, I will go stand by it, and I’ll run to it with my happy hop when you ask me if I want to go out.  If I don’t need to go out, I won’t come when you call.  However, if you bring me outside because you need to leave, I’ll do my business so you don’t have to worry while you’re gone.  You’ll just have to be patient with me while I learn my new schedule.  I don’t have any separation anxiety.  I’ll just find a nice spot for a nap while you’re gone.  And I’ll have a big smile waiting for you when you return!

I am neutered, up to date on my vaccines, microchipped and current on my flea and heartworm prevention.

Hi! I could be a cover model, I’m such a handsome wire haired Yorkie Mix ( I’m a rescue, so no guarantees, I might have something else mixed in there!) and if you’re familiar with Yorkie’s ( let’s not generalize) well, maybe…you know what that means, right? Ha! I’m a small bundle of joy with a HUGE personality!!! Let’s step back and allow me to introduce myself. I’m Titan, a secret agent and you have no idea what I’m going to do or say, lol… I’m sweet as honey “most” of the time, but when I’m working (remember the secret agent part) and possibly guarding my bed, my food, a toy or maybe something you can’t see, I sound and can be a little fierce! If you distract me or redirect that “fierceness” I’m back to sweet as honey in a flash.

I’m just 12 years young (and retiring for work early) and have been a secret agent most of my life. I am 7.4 lbs. (but who is needing that accurate of a weight) of pup, and 2 lbs. of fur, so I guess that means I’m all of 8 lbs, right? With all this “secret agent” stuff, I think my new family should be adults, cuz, you know, they can help me with my mission should I be called upon, Ha!

I love fresh air with walks in the neighborhood and maybe a sunny spot of my own to take naps.  As you can tell I don’t like my picture taken.  I have been sleuthing my way through life so far and don’t like the publicity.  At night I love hanging out in my bed next to my humans bed.  I am not a super cuddly guy, but   I do like to be close and know you are around.  I do try to get my way most of the time and will let you know if I have had enough contact and need some space.  My foster mom has taught me to try and be patient while she brushes my bEEautiful wire coat.  I sometimes like to be held, but you need to go slow or let me come to you.  No fast moves or my secret agent skills come back and I get into protective mode.  My reflexes are highly tuned and believe me all 7 lbs of me are quick.  Ha!!

I’m neutered (you know how these rescue people are, they don’t want my genes spread around) I’ve had a fresh dental, I’ve been vaccinated and microchipped too as well as started on heartworm and flea prevention. If you so choose to take on the mission of being my accomplice in life, please fill out an application at www.viprescue.org. This message will self destruct upon my adoption! lol…lol… Hope to meet you soon!

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: You must be a resident of FL. Harold requires a 6-foot fenced yard in a single family home – no renters. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, they must be current on vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. Harold could typically live 12-15 years, so keep his lifespan in mind if you are thinking of adopting Harold Your age should be appropriate for his estimated lifespan.

Hi friends, my name is Harold! I’m a 5 year old, a shih tzu/mini poodle mix (a Shi-poo) who weighs about 18lbs. Do you remember me? I was up for adoption a little while ago, but needed some veterinary stuff done, I’m all good now, and, well, I’m baaaaaaaack!

My favorite things are grassy backyards, car rides, going new places, walking the neighborhood on my leash, treats and of course, companionship and attention. I am playful, friendly and affectionate. Did I mention super handsome too? Even got myself a new haircut, a big thank you to the nice folks at Pampered Paws Grooming Salon who volunteered their time to get me cleaned up! I sure feel better without all that long hot hair!! I will require regularly scheduled grooming appointments, so please consider the extra cost of that prior to submitting your application. If you cannot afford and are not willing to have me professionally groomed on a regular basis, like every 8-10 weeks, I am not the dog for you. Please consider one of my fellow short haired, non grooming required rescue friends instead.

I like and get along great with other friendly dogs, although I may bark when we first meet. Don’t take it personally, I’m just saying “hi, new friend.” Foster mom has introduced me to many dogs (and humans) and I love most everyone that respects my space, both in rest and play mode. (that’s a big thing with me) I share beds, toys and water bowls nicely too. Food, not so much – that’s my kibble! Paws of fellow canines!!

I would do well in a home with an already established small to medium size (under 35 lbs), friendly and very well socialized dog. I could also be an only dog, so long as I am your primary significant other. I do not want to be at home by myself for extended hours so if you work full time outside of the home, I’m really not the guy for you.

Keep me on regular potty schedule and I’m pretty much housebroken. Like I said above, you need to be home to play with me and let me out to potty, not working all the time. I like routines and schedules, I’ll even let you know if you’re running late on my meal times. How do I do that? Foster mom calls it barking, but I’m really just talking to her about my wants and needs. I also “talk” to the delivery people, the garbage truck, people and things like big birds that appear outside the windows, and the doorbell, for example. I’m kind of like a little security alarm, which foster mom says can be a good thing, but if you or your environment is sensitive to canine talking (barking), I am not the dog for you. Please consider one of my fellow rescue friends instead.

Foster mom says I am excellent on leash. She often walks me with 1-2 of my other dog friends and I don’t mind matching my pace with others. I love playing outside! I will need single family adult only home with a secured fenced in yard for me to run, play and sniff. Sorry folks, no condos, townhomes, villas or rentals. This is not negotiable, and I sure hope you understand, but it’s what’s best for me.

Truth be told, I am not a big fan of those little humans you people call kids. If you have young children in your home or children that visit your home, I am not the dog for you. Please take note of this prior to submitting your Application because foster mom says this is not negotiable.

Foster mom does not have cats, but she’s got a little tiny dog that I am very friendly with and do not chase, but I really would prefer a “feline free” home, ok? Now, don’t I sound like the perfect pup? I think I am, but I do have some “quirks” that foster Mom will discuss with only the  approved applicants. I will say that I MUST have an experienced dog owner, I’m not a 1st time pet for sure. You MUST be very active to keep up with all my playful energy, so if you’re a young, experienced active human, I might just be for you! Oh, another thingy, a home visit will be required for an approved applicant, and you must live within 1 hour of the St Petersburg/Clearwater area.

I am up to date on my vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, and on flea and heartworm prevention.

I’m ready to move along to my forever home, but foster mom is happy to have me for as long as it takes to find my perfect match, I’m not the easiest pupper to own due to my “quirks”.  After reading and considering all of the above, if you think you might be the family for me, please submit your application for review at VIPRescue.org

Hi there everyone, I’m Hattie, a 15 lb. 2 year old vivacious Min Pin/terrier/doxie mix, or who knows, it really doesn’t matter, because I’m cute, bubbly, and ready for my “fur” ever home. As you can see, I’m pretty attractive if I do say so myself. I recently came to this great State of Florida with some friends, so we can have a much better life. Yeah!

I’m doing good with this “housebreaking” thing they talk about, and most of the time I know when I have go outside. It’s just that sometimes I forget in my excitement, so you’ll need to help me continue my “training” and I should have it down pat in no time! Sometimes I get soooooooo excited I have to be reminded to just “chill” a bit. Got tons of energy I guess, so I’ll definitely need an active family, no couch potatoes for me, Ha! I’m good on a leash, and I really do like my toys. Brothers and sister dogs? No problem. Cats, well maybe. I just don’t have a lot of recent experience with them. Children should be no problem, as long as they aren’t too young, 10+ should work.

I’m current on all my vaccines, spayed, microchipped and on heartworm and flea prevention. Could you be the one to make my dreams come true? My “fur” ever family? Hey there, my name is Cheech, my foster mom calls me CheeChee I’m a 1 year old, 13lb Chihuahua mix/with maybe a little speedy Gonzales in me. I’m the happiest boy, I smiles all the time. I’ve been in Florida for about a week now, and boy, do I love hanging outside! I loves the sun, I loves the walks, I loves the backyard, I loves the toys and I loves life.

I loves Humans, and pups. I’m a bit of an attention hog. You don’t need to look far to find me, I’ll be on your lap, around your neck on the couch or a chair, i’ll be on my dog bed at your feet or on your(our) human bed when I see you get ready for bed. I am crate trained but I prefer to be out and about.

I’m a good boy who is working on house manners, it may take a day or two for me to get my new people in a routine with house manners. If you take me out frequently I will do my business outside. As for walks, I loves sniffy walks and yep you guesses it..… I will leave a little something anywhere and everywhere we go, so the next pup has sniffly walks too. I’m learning I don’t need to stop at every plant, shrub or mailbox. But it is oh so tempting. Ha! I’ll need help to keep a movin’ so we are not out for hours. If it’s up to me… I could walk forever. I would probably do ok with kids, they probably should be a bit older, 10+ years, if you have them, ok?

I’m Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and on heartworm and flea prevention, so I’m ready to go! If you are ready for an active CheeChee. Please fill out an application at www.viprescue.org

Hey there, my name is Aggie, I’m a 3 year old 24lb Daschund mix/with maybe a little ridgeback gal.  I’ve been in Florida for about a week now, and boy, do I love the warmth of that sun! Actually, that’s one of my favorite things to do is to hang out in the sun and roll around in the grass in the backyard, and when I’m not doing that you can find me um….don’t tell foster Mom….shhhh…chasing squirrels! Ha! Oh, and I do love to do the “zoomies” in the yard too! I’d totally prefer a home with a secure fenced in yard so I can do all of my favorite things!

I’m a good girl who is housebroken, crate trained and an all around friendly girl. I absolutely LOVE humans, they’re my fave, other dogs? Yeah, they’re ok, but I still prefer the humans. Foster Mom says there are 3 things I really love to do. Leash walks around the neighborhood, cuddles with my human, and long naps (those are the bestest)!  I also get along with kiddos, I like when they pet me,  but they probably should be a bit older, 10+ years, if you have them, ok?

I’m spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and on heartworm and flea prevention, so I’m ready to go! Please fill out an application at www.viprescue.org

Wiggles and smiles, snuggles and cuddles, that is what Keegan is made of. At least that is what my foster parents say about me. I’m a young sweet terrier mix gal in search of my fur-ever home! My perfect day starts with breakfast and a long walk, followed by a day filled with hanging out in the yard chasing squirrels, and bunnies or just watching the birds in the trees.  So, a fenced yard is desired.  I like sitting on my foster mom’s lap while she is working in the home office until the afternoon walk, just before dinner.  The evenings are the best since Big Daddy comes home and we take an evening stroll around the neighborhood visiting with the other neighbors.  I do like the attention from my humans.  And if I don’t get the attention I feel I need; I have my way of getting it!

My foster mom says I am a little like a cat since she found me on the dinning room table.  I blamed it on Big Daddy who left the chair out as an open invitation to jump on the table.  See I told you, I know how to stand out in a crowd and get all the attention I feel I need, ha! I’m spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and on heartworm and flea prevention. So if you are looking for a little girl with a big personality, please fill out an application for me!

Rowdy / Myakka City FL

DOG NAME: Rowdy/Myakka City, FL

BIRTHDATE: 1/7/2023

BREED: Standard Poodle mixed breed

COLOR: Chocolate

LOCATION: Myakka City, FL

Meet Rowdy, he is a Standard Poodle Mix puppy, thought to be a Schnoodle. I am 15 weeks old, and weigh 12 lbs. I am very smart, doing well on my house training, and I am a handful! Pretty good with house breaking so far. I knows how to sit, and learn more every day! I was born January 7, 2023. My MOM weighs 55 lbs, and we were told she is a Standard Poodle mixed with Schnauzer. I loves to harass cats so it is best if there are no kitties in my new house. I require a minimum of a 6 foot fenced in yard, a single family home, no exceptions. I love long walks, snuggling, and endless play! Oh, I am super cute too!!!!! You will melt when I look in your eyes! You need me, you know you do! Do you think you want a puppy? Well, you’ve come to the right place! Puppies are so adorable. If you are ready for a bouncy, high energy puppy, ROWDY is ready to begin his journey with a family of his very own. Puppies are tons of fun but do require ALOT of hard work and training on your family’s part to be the best pup they can be! They need love, attention and lots of consistency especially for housebreaking! Their little bladders can’t hold it all day so please make sure you can commit to the puppy not being left along longer than 4 hours during the day. If that’s not possible, please consider one of our adult dogs which might be better suited for your lifestyle!

****Standard Poodles require monthly grooming, and frequent brushing, and this puppy is no exception. Early grooming of your dog will create good future habits. Standard Poodles are high energy, have a high prey drive, and require a grassy yard to exercise in that is fenced on all 4 sides with a 6-foot fence. They also need to be leash walked several times daily to stimulate their minds and to properly socialize them. A home visit by VIP Rescue is a pre-requisite in the adoption process of these pups. Obedience training for the puppy is also highly recommended for this extremely intelligent breed of dog. High quality food is essential for their growth and development.

VIP Rescue reserves the right to approve or disapprove adoption applications submitted based on each dogs specific needs. If your adoption application is approved, you will be required to travel to the dogs foster home to meet the dog.

Any incomplete application will NOT be processed. You should also call your Veterinarian’s office and give your permission for us to speak with them to gather the necessary information we need to process any applications. Noodles – Fernandina Beach

DOG NAME: NOODLES DOG

LOCATION: TAVARES, FL

AGE: 11/2019 estimate

DOG BREED: Standard Poodle.

DOG WEIGHT: 38 pounds

GENDER: Male

HOUSETRAINED: Yes

COLOR: WHITE

FENCED YARD: 6-Foot secured fenced yard REQUIRED

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: You must be a resident of FL. Noodles requires a 6-foot fenced yard in a single family home – no renters. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, they must be current on vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. Standard Poodles typically live 12-15 years, so keep their lifespan in mind if you are thinking of adopting Noodles. Your age should be appropriate for his estimated lifespan. Families with older children that can manage a puppy will be considered.

ADOPT Noodles: Noodles is a very happy joyful young boy full of love and life, very affectionate, and just waiting for his new home with open paws. He is still very much a busy puppy at heart. He follows you everywhere, you will never experience loneliness after meeting Noodles. He is very smart, he knows commands, leash walking, is house-trained, and enjoys puppy play with other dogs. He loves riding in the car, and has a lot of energy to burn – no couch potatoes. Noodles would love a hiker or a jogger that likes to get out and go, and take him with. He is a lovely boy and you can take him anywhere. He is good with older children in his foster home. Noodles needs to be supervised so as not to get into things, or chew inappropriate things so we recommend crating when you leave. He is housetrained, no issues. He loves to play with other dogs, and loves some toys to keep him busy. He learns quickly, and he aims to please. Noodles is ready to begin his journey with a family of his very own that can keep up with him, entertain him, play with him often, lots of walks, and to be able to let him out frequently for potty breaks. If you are ready for a bouncy intelligent high-energy pup, look no further. He will be a dedicated devoted companion to the end………. Noodles eats Merrick Grain Free Beef and Sweet Potato

HISTORY: Noodles came to VIP Rescue back in Nov ’22. He was found as a stray, turned into our local shelter, and was in horrific shape. He was emaciated, had pneumonia, kennel cough, and his coat was very overgrown constricting his movement. With excellent veterinary care, and a dedicated foster home, Noodles has recovered from the past, he has put it behind him, and is now a delightful boy. Noodles is now 38 lbs – his correct weight, and it has taken 4 months of care to get him to the be his best!

MEETING NOODLES: He is fostered in Tavares, FL. and will be adopted to a home within a reasonable distance. You will need to travel to TAVARES to meet Noodles if your application is approved. You will need to bring all your family members and pets for the introduction meeting. He has not been tested with cats. He has been fostered in a home with Standard Poodles and children.

The STANDARD POODLE BREED: Noodles is tons of fun but puppies require a lot of work and a 10 to 15 year commitment! Exercise in your fenced yard, leash walks, patience, and consistent positive reinforcement training on your family’s part will be needed for him to be the best dog he can be! Please do your homework on the Standard Poodles breed, they are not for everyone. They are high energy, have a high-prey drive, and require a grassy yard to exercise in that is fenced on all 4 sides. Standard Poodles are eager to learn, they are athletic, agile, wickedly smart, and are very versatile velcro dogs. They want to be an active participant in your daily life. High quality food is essential and not cheap. Standard Poodles require monthly grooming, frequent brushing, and Noodles is no exception. Grooming ranges from $100-$200. They love being around people and are able to form bonds with each member of the family, as opposed to bonding with just one person. They also make superb watchdogs barking zealously when strangers approach the home. Poodles may look dainty and demur, but in truth, these are high-stamina dogs with a stellar range of skills, including agility, obedience, hunting and herding.

NOODLES MEDICAL: He was recently neutered, he is up to date on vaccines, preventatives, he is microchipped, and heartworm negative.

VIP RESCUE ADOPTION APPLICATIONS: VIP Rescue reserves the right to approve or disapprove adoption applications submitted based on each dogs’ specific needs. If your adoption application is approved, you will be required to travel to the dogs foster home to meet the dog. A home visit by VIP Rescue at your home is a pre-requisite in the adoption process. JOBEY / CLERMONT, FL

JOBEY / CLERMONT, FL

ADOPT JOBEY

Hi Ya’ll I’m Jobey! I am a 1 yr old Chihuahua mix boy puppy who currently weighs a whopping 8 lbs! I have a long story to share with you, so I hope you have the time to listen! In Sept 2022, I was found as a baby living in a swamp sleeping in a hollowed-out tree stump. A nice lady found me while working, but could not catch me. So, she was diligent and trapped me, then took me to VIP RESCUE. When VIP Rescue took me in, I was named Tiny Tim. I had severe skin issues, was dehydrated, and starving, had lost all my fur, and had wicked eye infections. My VIP RESCUE Foster Mom took excellent care of me and nursed me back to health for several months. I started growing hair and she gave me lots of delicious food. My veterinarian helped me recover, neutered me, and VIP Rescue put me up for adoption. Well, that nice lady that had saved my life, she couldn’t resist, so she adopted me!

Fast forward to March 2023, the nice lady that adopted me, she named me Jobey. She cannot keep me anymore because I am too much of a puppy to be with her senior mobility challenged dogs. I want to find a home with like sized young dogs to play, or a home with no dogs would be fine too if you have lots of energy to play with me. I am an active puppy! Couch potatoes need not apply to adopt me! I love Cookies (Milk Bones) and I love puppy toys! So please, take me shopping with you for some goodies! I get along with people, dogs, and cats unknown. I’ve now experienced how amazing it is to be love, to snuggle, and play with toys. I enjoy leash walks and I’m figuring out – even though I’m so tiny – I am mighty! I am housetrained if let out frequently, and I will let you know I need to go, but you better be fast. I like to snuggle, and I love to play play play! I would love following you around and being your bestest friend and share cozy snuggle times. I am shy with strangers, but once I feel safe, I am very playful and want to run run run! I am used to having a crate at my house with an open door I can use at my will. It is my safe space. I am neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and current on preventatives. I am a healthy boy now, even though I got off to a bad start!

I am sharing some pictures with you of me now, and when I first came to VIP Rescue so you can see my resilience, and all the love and work that was put into me to become whole. If you meet me – I know you’ll love me, and it’s as simple as filing out an adoption application online at VIPRescue.org and the caring volunteers will take it from there. I really hope to meet you soon! My adoption donation is $250.

Hi, I’m Annabelle, a spunky Yorkie mix gal. I’m about 2 years old, weigh a svelte 13.6 pounds, and have a lovely black and tan coat. Pretty cute, don’t you think? Not that I’m conceited or anything, but I’m pretty special.

I recently came to VIP Rescue after being taken in by a nice lady who just couldn’t keep me with her four other dogs. It’s not that I didn’t get along with them most of the time, and I even seem to be OK with cats, but honestly, I’d prefer to be the only dog in the house. That’s right, I’m an “Attention Hound.” I’d like nothing more than to be with you 24/7, no matter what you are doing and trust me, you won’t be able to resist.

Shortly after my great foster parents took me in, the nice folks at VIP took me to the “dog-tor” for a check up. I was spayed, got my vaccines and heartworm and flea medications. Got to stay healthy you know if I’m going to keep up with active parents and give you years of love. Oh, and by the way, I’m also microchipped ( my foster parents said that’s a very important thing to have) They’re sooooo good to me and love me lots, but now it’s time to find my “fur” ever family.

If you meet me I know you’ll love me, and it’s as simple as filing out an application online at VIPRescue.org and the caring volunteers will take it from there. I really hope to see you soon! Licks and wags, your friend, Annabelle.

Fenced Yard : Preferred

This handsome fella is Phillie, a 16 lbs 3 year old happy go lucky Yorkie Poo, who is learning all about the good life. He was surrendered to VIP Rescue after living the first 3 years in a crate with little human interaction. The human bought him and then didn’t have time for him. LUCKY for him he found his way to our little rescue where for the first time in his short life he will KNOW what life is really like.
We will make sure of that! After some time and patience, he is slowly beginning to trust and relax a bit. He enjoys morning, afternoon and evening walks with his foster pup pack, sunning himself, sleeping in the big bed at night with foster mom and pups, zoomies in the back yard or curling up in one of the soft doggy beds around his foster home for an afternoon nap. Phillie would prefer to have an active family to help exercise and play with his newly found lease on life, and all his new found puppy energy. A home with a secure fenced in yard for his “zoomies” is preferred. His new family should either work from home, or one that is home more often than not. Due to his past, he can’t be left alone for too long. He would love to go on adventures to see and smell the outdoor world. Now that he has the freedom of space and not confined any more, he is really becoming the lovey pup he was meant to be. He will warm your heart!

Phillie is a little nervous at first meet, but warms up nicely once he feels comfortable. He is good with other quiet submissive pups as alpha pups scare him. He would prefer to be your one and only, more belly rubs for him. Adult home is preferred, but we would consider respectful children 12+.
Phillie is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines, and on heartworm/flea prevention. Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application if you’re interested in meeting this fabulous boy!

VIOLET / Myakka City, FL

Meet VIOLET

Birthdate: 1/7/2023

Breed: Standard Poodle mixed breed

Meet VIOLET, she is a Standard Poodle Mix puppy, thought to be a Schnoodle. She weighs 5.8 pounds and was born January 7, 2023. Her mother Luna weighs 55 lbs, and we were told she is a Standard Poodle mixed with Schnauzer. Violet is gentle, sweet and snuggly.

Do you think you want a puppy? Well, you’ve come to the right place! Puppies are so adorable. If you are ready for a bouncy, high energy puppy, VIOLET is ready to begin her journey with a family of her very own.

Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application and to also see the many other wonderful pets in our Rescue waiting for their “fur”ever home.

Luna / Seminole

DOG NAME: LUNA DOG

LOCATION: Seminole, FL

DOB: 09/13/2016

DOG BREED: Standard Schnoodle

DOG WEIGHT: 55 pounds

GENDER: Female

HOUSETRAINED: Yes

LOCATION: Seminole,

FL COLOR: Chocolate

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: You must be a resident of FL. to adopt Luna. Luna requires a 6 foot fenced yard in a single family home – no renters. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, they must be current on vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. Standard Poodles typically live 12-15 years, so keep their lifespan in mind if you are thinking of adopting Luna. Your age should be appropriate for her estimated lifespan. ADOPT LUNA: LUNA is a very happy joyful girl full of love and life, and just waiting for her new home with open paws. She recently birthed a litter of darling puppies, and is now ready to move on from that life, and be a companion dog. Luna likes to play outside, likes other dogs, and is okay with cats. She is still very much a puppy at heart. She follows you everywhere, you will never experience loneliness after meeting Luna. She enjoys leash walking, is house-trained, enjoys playing ball, and wants to cuddle. Luna is ready to begin her journey with a family of her very own that can run with her, entertain her, and play with her often. If you are ready for a loving girl, look no further. She will be a dedicated devoted companion to the end…….

MEETING Luna: She is fostered in Seminole, FL. and will be adopted to a home within a reasonable distance. You will need to travel to Seminole to meet Luna if your application is approved. You will need to bring all your family members and pets for the introduction meeting.

The STANDARD POODLE BREED: Luna is a mixed breed Standard Poodle. We were told she is a Schnoodle, which usually means a cross between Poodle and Schnauzer. Please do your homework on the Standard Poodles breed, they are not for everyone. They are high energy, have a high-prey drive, and require a grassy yard to exercise in that is fenced on all 4 sides with a minimum 6-foot fence. Standard Poodles are eager to learn, they are athletic, agile, wickedly smart, and are very versatile velcro dogs. They want to be an active participant in your daily life. High quality food is essential and not cheap. Standard Poodles require monthly grooming, frequent brushing, and Luna is no exception. LUNA HISTORY: Luna was surrendered by a breeder, as the breeder became ill and was no longer able to care for the dogs and kennel. Luna came to us right after delivering her puppies, and her puppies are also at VIP Rescue.

LUNA MEDICAL: Luna was recently spayed, she is up to date on vaccines, preventatives, she is microchipped, and heartworm negative. Jingles / Indian Rocks Beach

Dog Name: Jingles

DOB: 1/21/2021

Breed: Jack Russell / Chiahuahua Mix

Weight: 7 lbs

House trained: yes, as long as he is let out frequently

Location: Indian Rocks Beach, FL

Color: Black and White

Gets along with cats: Unknown

Gets along with Dogs : Yes

**INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY CLOSED**

Meet Jingles, an adorable 2 year old 7 lb. Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix boy. He is adorable, affectionate and playful. His energy level is typical for his small breed mix and youthful age. Jingles only needs a few minutes and a couple of treats before he is friendly with a stranger. After that, his favorite place to be is on your lap, or nearby your side. He also loves playing with toys, either independently or interactive play with his dog friends or foster mom. His third favorite thing is outside walks where he can smell the fresh air, feel the warm sun and safely explore new territory either on leash or in a securely fenced in yard under your watchful eye.

Jingles is excellent with other well socialized, small to medium sized, friendly, respectful, non rough playing, but mutually engaging, play style dogs. He shares toys very well with his canine friends and also will cuddle up alongside his foster fur siblings in the dog beds after a fun play session.

Jingles could be adopted to a home that already has an established, compatible size and temperament dog, or Jingles would be fine as a solo dog in a home w/ an active lifestyle. Either way, Jingles would do best in a home where his new family is home more often that not, and If you already have a dog in your home, a meet and greet will be required. Jingles has not been tested with cats, but his foster mom thinks he would do fine with an appropriate introduction and supervision. Given Jingles small size, children in the home should be at least 10+ and need to be part of the meet and greet.

Prior to coming to VIP Rescue, Jingles previously lived in a condo. While his foster mom believes he would do fine in a condo or townhome, as his new home, he is a small, young dog and therefore, regular and routine potty breaks outside are critical to his future housebreaking success. He walks well on a leash, enjoys his time outside and is easily trainable given time and a set schedule. Currently, his foster mom uses frequent outside potty breaks/ walks, and notes significant progress since Jingles first came into rescue. Of note, Jingles also has travel experience, both by car and plane!

Jingles is up to date on his vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, and on heartworm and flea preventative. Does Jingles sound like he could be the pup for you? Please submit an application to www.viprescue.org

Jody / Maderia Beach

Dog Name: Jody

DOB: 1/29/2019

Breed: Male Carin Terrier Mix

Weight: 17 Lbs (a little chunky)

House trained: yes, as long as he is let out often

Location: Madiera Beach, FL

Color: Tan and White

Get along with kids: No

Gets along with cats: Yes

Gets along with Dogs : Yes

**Incomplete Applications will be closed, Please make sure to call your Veterinarian to release your pets information to us when we call them for a reference.

Jody came to us in bad shape, his previous people did not care for him like he, and every animal, deserves. He was flea infested, matted, calcification on his teeth, not neutered, long nails and an ulcer in his eye. Jody is a 3 year old, 17 lbs, loving Carin Terrier mix boy.

VIP Rescue welcomed him with open arms and quickly made plans to get him back in good health. First up a was spa day, scrub a dub dub bubble bath and a groom to remove the matts, with a mani/pedi to finish the “spa” treatment! Wow!!! (Um, who wouldn’t want to live in that foster home, right? Lol…) He is absolutely gorgeous. He has a mild, happy go lucky boy temperament. Next up was a vet visit with the “Dog”ter. Jody was treated to a neuter, dental and eye evaluation. He will need to have drops administered to the eye 2 times daily and ointment applied for several months. It has only been a week and his eye is showing improvement. His foster home is giving him tons of love and affection.

Foster “Mom” says that he plays nice with the other small doggies in their foster home. Now that he feels safe, he loves napping in doggy beds and quickly starts snoring. SERIOUS snoring! LOL… He loves leash walks and meal time. Since he could stand to lose a few pounds, he should be on a diet for a little while to get to a healthier weight, maybe losing 2-3 lbs. (Vet recommended) This sweetheart is looking for a family to call his own (Kids 10+), and if you have a doggie at home already, it is recommended to be of a similar size.

Jody is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, had a fresh dental and started on heartworm and flea prevention as well. Please visit www.viprescue.org and fill out an adoption application if you’re interested in meeting him! Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application, k? Hope to meet you soon!

To do so, go to our web site, http://www.viprescue.org Upon receipt, we will process the application as soon as possible and respond to you.

I’m searching for an adult only home, since I’m so tiny. We could snuggle all the time and be best friends. I also get along with other doggies, but they need to be a small because of my size.

Puppies are so adorable. If you own your home and are ready for a bouncy, high energy, puppy … this one is for you!!!! He is ready to begin his journey with you. He is working on pee-pad training and then will graduate to potty training and leash training. If you are willing and able to accept this challenge, and welcome her into your home and heart, you must complete an application at viprescue.org.

Puppies are tons of fun but do require ALOT of work and training on your family’s part to be the best pup they can be! They need love, attention and lots of consistency especially for housebreaking! Their little bladders can’t hold it all day so please make sure you can commit to the puppy not being left along longer than 4 hours during the day. If that’s not possible, please consider one of our adult dogs which might be better suited for your lifestyle!

Please visit www.viprescue.org and fill out an application if you’d like to meet me!

If you’d like to meet me, please visit www.viprescue.org. and fill out an adoption application. I hope to meet you soon!

Lindee came to us in December from a nasty hoarding situation and was VERY pregnant. Lindee was very scared and also cautious upon arrival (who can blame her, right) and gave birth not long after arriving to her foster home. Her previous “life” consisted of living in a crate and being a “breeder money making machine” for the “owner”. She was not used to being handled and loved, she was not used to being able to run free in a yard, walked on a leash, or able to play with other pups or to trust humans. Lindee has come a lonnnnnng way, but she is learning to trust humans and trust her environment.

Patience, Patience, Patience is what Lindee needs in her new adult only home. You’ll need to go very slow with her until she understands she’s safe and feels comfortable. It took a while in her foster home, but she did come around. She would do best with another pup either a current established one (of similar size) in the home already or as luck would have it she has a loving best friend and playmate in her foster home, Linus, if you would consider adopting 2 pups! These two would thrive in a home together. (See Linus’s bio at viprescue.org.) They sleep together, play together and look to each other for comfort.

Lindee’s favorite past times are napping, eating and doing zoomies in the secured fenced yard. She is working on leash walks and loves to spy on squirrels and dance on her hind legs when she sees one! She’s is a little zig zaggy on the leash, as there are so many new things to see and smell.

Foster “Mom” says that she loves to play with the other small doggos in the foster home. Now that she is safe and pup free she seeks attention, she loves to sleep with her foster siblings and foster mom in the big bed. This sweetheart is looking for a family to call her own, might that be you?

She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and started on heartworm and flea prevention as well. Please visit www.viprescue.org and fill out an adoption application if you’re interested in meeting her.

To do so, go to our web site, http://www.viprescue.org Upon receipt, we will process the application as soon as possible and respond to you.

Itty Bitty Puppy Alert!!!!!!!

VIP Rescue welcomed these little ones into Florida last week and are overwhelmed at the cuteness of all 3! These adorable munchkins were born in a foster home and have known only absolute love and affection. Their Mommy is a sweet Chihuahua mix who weighed in at only 12 lbs, but, the MILLION DOLLAR question is “who’s your daddy?” Um, since Momma dog is not talking about who the daddy was, these cuties are all different sizes, but still are pretty small and we’re thinking maybe between 10-20 lbs full grown?????? We just don’t know, it’s a total guessing game here in Rescue Land.

Foster “Mom” says that they get along well and play nice with the other small doggos in their foster home. These sweeties are looking for an adult only home due to their itty bitty size, and if you have a doggie at home already, they must be on the smaller size as well. They are really cute and FULL of puppy energy, so please make sure you have the time, love and patience for a very young pup. They still have ALOT to learn!

They’ve been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and started on heartworm and flea prevention as well. Please visit www.viprescue.org and fill out an adoption application if you’re interested in meeting me!

To do so, go to our web site, http://www.viprescue.org Upon receipt, we will process the application as soon as possible and respond to you.

Hi, I’m Kelsey! If you’re looking for a loyal and faithful friend who will always be there for you, right by your side – pick me! I am totally house-trained, calm, super well-behaved, and I get along with other dogs, people, and kids. I love going everywhere with you, I’m fantastic on a leash and do great on walks and in public. I love to snuggle and sleep right beside you and will follow you around the house to lie by your feet. My foster mom calls me a Velcro dog! While I do play with my foster fur-sisters sometimes, I usually prefer just being with my human all the time. So, I’d be fine in a home with other dogs, or as your one and only. Yeah – I’m pretty much perfect. The only thing is, since I was abandoned before, I do get really nervous when my foster mom has to leave the house without me. I just love being around humans so much that I’m not sure what to do when they aren’t around, and so I bark a lot when I’m left alone. My foster mom knows this, because she checks on me with a camera to make sure I’m ok. We’ve been working on crate training to keep me safe, and we’ve been trying some anti-anxiety medicine that seems to be helping a lot. I’m becoming pretty comfortable in the crate, and I’m learning to be more relaxed when I’m by myself, but I do still need a patient, understanding family who is willing to keep working with me and not leave me alone very often. I’d be a really good fit for someone who is retired, or who works from home, or who could take me to work with them (I’m such a good girl in public!). If there’s more than one human in the house for me to love, that would be ideal! I would not be a good fit for an apartment, townhome, or condo. Kelsey is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and current on her heartworm and flea prevention. If you feel you’d be the right family for Kelsey, please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application, k? I’m still getting acclimated here, and I think I’d really like a a new family that’s home more often than not, ok?

I’ve been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and started on my heartworm and flea prevention, so I’m ready, how about you? Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application.

Hey there, I’m Pete, I’m an  8 month old Chihuahua mix boy who weighs just 7 lbs! I arrived here at VIP Rescue in search of a loving family of my own. Foster “Mom” says that I seem to get along well with the other doggies in my foster home, so that’s a good thing, right? When I was a baby, my eye was injured, it doesn’t bother me at all, and I can still see all the love around me, and I’m a very handsome boy!

I love to snuggle, chase lizards, hang out in the sun and I LOVE TOYS! I am actually a hoarder of toys. I love, love, love them. I take all of them from the toy box and put them in my bed, and then I take them and put them in another doggy bed! Ha!  Then foster mom collects them all up and puts them back in the toy box and guess what! I do it all over again, ( I sure have foster Mom trained, huh?) LOL She’s really “paw”some to put up with my shenanigans!

I’m working on my house manners and have made huge improvements. I’m also working on leash walks and am amazed at all the sights and sounds of the outside world. If you have another doggie in the home, they should be of similar size as me, (a little bigger is ok) but no big doggies! I’ve been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and started on heartworm and flea prevention as well.

Please visit www.viprescue.org and fill out an adoption application if you’re interested in meeting me!

MICKEY / REDINGTON BEACH

DOG NAME: MICKEY

DOG LOCATION: Redington Beach, FL

DOB: 06/30/2022

DOG BREED: Standard Poodle.

DOG WEIGHT: 30.8 pounds (current weight)

GENDER: Male

HOUSETRAINED: Yes

LOCATION: Redington Beach, FL

COLOR: Sable

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: You must be a resident of FL. Mickey requires a 6 foot fenced yard in a single family home – no renters. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, they must be current on vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. Poodles typically live 12-15 years, so keep their lifespan in mind if you are thinking of adopting Mickey. Your age should be appropriate for his estimated lifespan.

ADOPT MICKEY: Mickey is a very happy joyful young boy full of love and life, very affectionate, and just waiting for his new home with open paws. He is still very much a puppy at heart. He follows you everywhere, you will never experience loneliness after meeting Mickey. He is very smart, he knows commands, leash walking, is house-trained, and enjoys puppy play with other dogs. He loves riding in the car, however, on long trips he can become nauseous. Mickey has a lot of energy, and needs lots of exercise both mentally and physically stimulating. He is not happy being left alone for long periods of time. As with any puppy, he needs to be supervised so as not to get into things, or chew inappropriate things. He is housetrained so long as he is let out frequently. With other dogs, he is shy at first, and then it is play play play! He was raised in a home with no other dogs so far, however he was frequently taken to dog parks for his exercise and socialization. Mickey is a player, loves to engage with the other dogs in his foster home, and his special toys. He learns quickly, and he aims to please. Mickey is ready to begin his journey with a family of his very own that can run with him, entertain him, play with him often, and be able to let him out every few hours for potty breaks. If you are ready for a bouncy intelligent high-energy pup, look no further. He will be a dedicated devoted companion to the end……….

MEETING MICKEY: He is fostered in Redington Beach, FL. and will be adopted to a home within a reasonable distance. You will need to travel to Redington Beach to meet Mickey if your application is approved. You will need to bring all your family members and pets for the introduction meeting. He has not been tested with cats. He has been fostered in a home with small dogs and a Standard Poodle and acclimated easily.

The STANDARD POODLE BREED: Mickey is tons of fun but puppies require a lot of work and a 15-year committment! Exercise in your fenced yard, leash walks, patience, and consistent training on your family’s part to be the best dog he can be! Standard Poodles require monthly grooming, frequent brushing, and Mickey is no exception.

MICKEY HISTORY: Mickey was surrendered by his owner to VIP Rescue. He was very loved, but was not a good match for a person working 10 hour shifts and no fenced yard for him to exercise. You would be wise to commit to further puppy class training for Mickey if you adopt him. He is well on his way of training for his age.

MICKEY MEDICAL: He was recently neutered while with VIP Rescue, he is up to date on vaccines, preventatives, he is microchipped, and heartworm negative. He comes with his harness, a collar, leash. Mickeys former owner said he had an occurrence of FCE, known as Spinal Stroke. Our VIP veterinarian examined him and says, if he did have FCE, he has recovered.

Our Volunteers will be in touch with those that meet the criteria for adopting Mickey.

Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application and to also see the many other wonderful pets in our Rescue waiting for their “fur”ever home. All of our staff at VIP Rescue are Volunteers, so please be kind and patient. All information provided in the Adoption application will remain confidential and not be shared outside of designated VIP Rescue Volunteers. We do contact your veterinarian, references, and other information based on the information provided in your application. I’m Bentley, a 4 1/2 year old 26lb chunky monkey boy who’s back with VIP Rescue ( through no fault of my own I might add) This foster home I’m in is a blast, so many kewl doggos to play with and I get along with cats. This lady they call “Mom” makes us some yummy food too! She has started me on a little diet, cuz I certainly could use to lose a few pounds (um, can’t we all? Lol) and she give the besets belly rubs.

Anywho, I still love my leash walks, car rides and most of all cuddling. I’m not too crazy about being left alone for long periods of time, so if you’re retired or work from home, that’d be swell. I do get along with most others like me, the quieter, submissive type. I’ a little nervous around big doggies, they scare me a little! I’m gonna need regular grooming to keep me being the most handsome fella in town, so please keep that in mind if you’re thinking about adopting me, k?

I’m already neutered, microchipped, current on my vaccines and on heartworm and flea prevention, so I’m all set! My bags are still packed, I’m ready to go. What time shall I be ready? Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an application for me!  Lots of tails wags, Your friend,  Bentley

If you’d like to meet this adorable guy, please visit www.viprescue.org. and fill out an adoption application. He hopes to meet his new “fur” ever family real soon.

Krystal is a 5 year old happy go lucky 11.8 lbs Dachshund mix gal who is full of love. Krystal arrived recently to VIP Rescue, and is learning to enjoy the good life in Florida. It was a little chilly upon her arrival and she discovered sweaters and really enjoyed strutting her stuff while on her walks with Foster Mom in one of them. We told her she will enjoy our warm Florida weather when it comes back this week, and she was real pleased to hear that! Lol..

Before arriving to our Rescue, she had a small growth in her lower jaw that was removed and the test results came back negative. Having her lower front teeth removed as part of the growth removal, her tongue sticks out a little bit and is so cute. None of this slowed down her eating at all, she LOVES food and treats, but what pup doesn’t, right? She is a total snuggle bug and at night enjoys sleeping under the covers. We think she would enjoy a similar sized pup in the home or be your one and only and get all the attention.

Our pretty Krystal is spayed, microchipped, just had a fresh dental, current on vaccines and is current on her heartworm and flea prevention.

If you’d like to meet this adorable little girl, please visit www.viprescue.org. and fill out an adoption application. She hopes to meet her new “fur” ever family real soon.

Are you ready for some puppy breath and kisses? Are you ready for a bouncy, high energy puppy? Then by golly you’ve come to the right place! This sweet pup might be right for you!!!! She is ready to begin her journey with a family of her very own. She is working on tinkle pad training and then will graduate to leash and outdoor potty training. Puppies are tons of fun, but they do require LOTS of time, work and training on your part to be the best pup they can be! They need love, attention, routines and lots of consistency, especially for housebreaking! Their little bladders can’t hold it all day so please make sure you can commit to the puppy not being left alone for too long during the day. If that’s not possible, please consider one of our adult dogs which might be better suited for your lifestyle! Clover is spayed, has age appropriate vaccines and is on heartworm and flea prevention.

Hey there my Florida friends! My name is Benjamin, I’m a 10 year old 8lb sweetheart of a boy in search of that “fur”ever home that I keep hearing about.

I’d like to tell you some things about me, k? Don’t let my age fool you, I have proven that I can keep up with the “younger” ones, but you know what? I’d like to find a home with another really chill laid back doggie in it, cuz’ I get along great with others and I really really like the companionship, we can just “hang” and enjoy some peace and quiet. In fact, I think I really need to have a friend in my new home. If you don’t already have a friend for me, check out my friend Roxy here in my foster home, she’s a cool girl and I get along great with her.

I also enjoy hanging with “my people” on the couch catching some great shows on Netflix or whatever you prefer, I’m real easy to please and I like my humans home more often than not, so if you’re retired or work from home, even better!

Foster Mom takes me on nice short walks which I really love, smelling all the “smells”, she’s like the bestest thing since peanut butter and jelly….really….She says I’m such a good boy and do my “business” outside when taken out on time.

I had some skin issues when I got here, and the nice “Dogtor “ fixed me all up, and now I’m eating really good food and foster Mom gives me my flea prevention each month too.

I’m neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and current on heart worm and flea prevention. So, that’s all I got for now, I’m hoping my new family is out there looking for a special guy like me! Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application for me! Licks and lottsa tail wags, Your friend, Benjamin

Hello!  My name is Jerry.  I’m a Terrier Mix. My foster mom says I am an amber eyed Mama’s boy.  All I know is that I like the ladies and the ladies like me.    I enjoy chewing on bones, sitting in my foster mom’s lap and taking long walks.  Speaking of walks; I like to chase the squirrels, but foster mommy tells me just to chase them in the yard.  I am not sure why that is a rule.  It seems like a silly rule to me.  For that reason, a fenced in yard would be preferred.    My foster mom says I have great house manners.  She is happy that I potty outside, only chew on bones and sit with her while she works on the computer.  I don’t quite understand why all this makes her so happy, but I do like to keep the ladies smiling.  As I see it, keeping a smile on a lady’s face is my top job. I’ve been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and current on my heartworm and flea prevention. So whatya think? Am I the guy for you? *** WE DO NOT ADOPT OUT OF STATE***

Hi friends!! My name is Gwen, a 12 lb., 3 years young long hair dachshund/scruffy terrier mix. I came in to rescue from a large hoarding situation and am now looking for my furever home. I’m very playful and have learned I also love attention from my new human friends. It may take me a minute to come say hi, but once I do, it’s game on new friend!

A few of my favorite things? Oh boy do I like toys (and I share nicely with others too)! Cozy dog beds and time chilling with foster mom on the couch can’t be beat!! Sure better than what I had, now I just need my forever family.

Foster mom and I have been working on leash walking and housebreaking. She says I’m making good progress but am going to need a set routine and consistency in my new home to continue my progress. The other dogs in the foster home taught me how to use potty pads so I’m prepared for rainy days, but I wanna go outside so please be willing and have the time to work with me.

I get along great with other small to medium sized social friendly dogs. My new home could already have a dog, I could be an only dog, or if you are looking for two dogs I could also be adopted with my best friend Roxy. (Her info is posted on our website too!) I’ve not been exposed to cats or young kids during my time with my foster Mom, but maybe an older child might be ok, cause, you know, I kinda like everyone I meet! I’ve been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and am current on my heartworm and flea prevention as well. So, how about it? Think I might be the girl for you? If so, please go to www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. I’ll be waiting to hear from you! Love and tail wags, Gwen

Did you say you want a puppy? Well, you’ve come to the right place!

These adorable, affectionate and playful puppies were born 9/15/22, and are thought to be Dachshund mixes. These are both males, Rey (burgundy collar) and Ross (blue collar). The mom, Roxie, is 13 lbs, but dad is unknown so adult weight could range from 15-40ish lbs. They are current on age-appropriate shots, neutered, microchipped and on heartworm and flea prevention.

If you are ready for a bouncy, high energy puppy, one of these sweet pups might be right for you!!!! They are ready to begin their journey with a family of their very own. They are working on tinkle pad training and then will graduate to leash and outdoor potty training. Puppies are tons of fun, but they do require LOTS of time, work and training on your part to be the best pup they can be! They need love, attention, routines and lots of consistency, especially for housebreaking! Their little bladders can’t hold it all day so please make sure you can commit to the puppy not being left along longer than 4 hours during the day. If that’s not possible, please consider one of our adult dogs which might be better suited for your lifestyle!

Dachshunds are great pups, please research their breed needs if you have not owned this particular breed previously, and get ready for some puppy breath and kisses.

If you’d like to meet one of the pups, please visit www.viprescue.org. and fill out an adoption application. They hope to meet their new “fur” ever family real soon.

Do you want to be my Valentine?

I’m Linus, a 6 year old 6.5 lb. Chihuahua mix who just might have a little Italian greyhound in there somewhere (hence the long legs).

ISO someone to rub my ears and who has the perfect lap for couch cuddles. I am a fashionsita in my cute sweaters, enjoy leash walking, and do a little yoga pose when I go potty.  My perfect match is a very patient adult willing to show me as much love as I have to give.

You see, I came from a “place” that had SOOOOO many doggies that no one had the time to pet, play or love on me which made me so sad all the time until VIP Rescue stepped in and brought me here! I’m staying with what they call a “foster family” who gives me lots of love and attention (yummy food too!) and I’m really loving this new life!

I really like my foster siblings and would do great with another pup in the house. I also like to be close to my foster mom following her to the kitchen, the couch, or keeping her company while gardening.

Foster mom thinks I would be ok to be on my own, but maybe, just maybe you might consider two of us (I have a best bud named Leroy). If not, it’s totally ok, he’ll be just fine like I will be.

My new home should probably be with adults only with comfortable laps, and you will need to be patient with me as I’m learning all things dog. I would love a family that’s home more often than not, so if you’re retired or work from home, that’d be “paw”some cuz’ then I wouldn’t be alone too much. This “housebreaking” thing is slow going (since I lived in a crate most of my life before coming here) but it’s getting better every day. My new family has to understand that and continue to patiently teach me and I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it.

I’ve been neutered, vaccinated, had a dental too, and am microchipped and current on my heartworm and flea prevention. If you’d like to meet me, please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. Hope to me you soon!

During the daytime I do hang out in any one of the doggie beds with my best bud Leroy or one of the other pups that happen to be up for a little cuddle, or if I bat my eyes and get in my foster moms lap, I will curl up and give her all my lovin’. Foster mom thinks I would be ok to be on my own, but maybe, just maybe you might consider two of us, ya know, me and my best bud Leroy…Wouldn’t that be “pawsome”? If not, it’s totally ok, he’ll be just fine like I will be.

If you have a fenced yard that is a bonus for me. I am working really hard on leash walking, again, it’s all new to me! Hello, hello, hello!!!! I’m Leroy, a shy and scared little chihuahua guy, who is 6 years old and just 10.5 lb. I’m in search of a patient family that can show me tons of love and offer a quiet home, maybe with another pup to show me all the things life has to offer that I’ve NEVER had before. I too, like my best bud Linus, came from a “place” that had SOOOOO many doggies that no one had the time to pet, play or love on me either which made me so sad and a little scared too. All that changed when VIP Rescue stepped in and brought me to to one of their foster homes. I’m in a foster home that gives me lots of love and attention (yummy food too!)

I really like one of the pups I came in with, Linus (he is a happy pup and I’m calmer when I am around him and he is helping me learn what love is and to appreciate pets and cuddles that foster Mom gives us). She’s the best. Wherever foster mom is, you can find me, whether in the kitchen, sitting on the couch or if Linus is in foster moms lap I try to get on her lap too. My foster mom thinks I should have another confident pup in my new home, or if you would consider two of us, I would love to have Linus come live with me in my new home! That would be so great, but if not, it’s totally ok, I’ll be fine as long you have all the time in the world to love on me!

My new home should probably be with adults only, and you will need to be patient with me as I’m learning all things dog. I would love a family that’s home more often than not, so If you’re retired or work from home, that’d be “paw”some cuz’ then I wouldn’t be alone too much. If you have a fenced yard that is a bonus for me. I am working really hard on leash walks, I do enjoy all the beautiful things around me. Ahhhhh….a dogs life without a cage….YES!

LACEY / OSTEEN FLORIDA

ADOPT LACEY / OSTEEN, FLORIDA

www.viprescue.org

Meet LACEY! She is an affectionate loving senior lady at 11 years old, born 09.10.2011. Unfortunately Lacey’s lifelong owner passed away, and Lacey came to VIP Rescue in search of a new loving home. Lacey weighs 50lbs., and she is adjusting well in her foster home with other Standard Poodles Lacey is house trained and would love to sleep next to you on your bed and accompany you wherever you go.

Lacey likes to go shopping with you, go out to eat with you, and kindly greet kids and adults while out with you. She gets along well with the dogs in her foster home and others we have introduced her to. She is friendly with adults and children alike. Lacey walks beautifully on a leash, she likes to ride in the car with you and does well on the grooming table. Lacey is an easy dog, she does not ask for much……affection, quality food, walks, body rubs, naps, and frequent brushing and grooming. She can still run and breaks out in poodle zoomies when outside in her fenced yard. Lacey is in great shape for her age! Lacey has a few lumps and bumps; recent cytology shows they are benign growths.

She is looking for a home with open arms for a senior girl that has lots of love and time to share. Lacey is up to date on all vaccines, heartworm negative, and is microchipped. Lacey is fostered in Osteen, Florida. To adopt Lacey, you must come to meet her at her foster home, and introduce your dog(s) to her to make sure it is a match. She has not been cat tested.

If you are interested in adopting LACEY, please complete an adoption application at VIP Rescue to be considered. www.viprescue.org A home-visit is a pre-requisite in the adoption process at VIP RESCUE. VIP Rescue reserves the right to approve or disapprove adoption applications submitted.

Lacey’s adoption donation is $150.

*** WE DO NOT ADOPT OUT OF STATE***

Hey there my Florida friends, I’m Roxy, a 5 year old 13 lb. pretty girl in search of her forever family. You see, I came from a “place” that has SOOOOO many doggies that no one had the time to pet, play or love on me which made me so sad all the time until VIP Rescue stepped in and brought me here! I’m staying with what they call a “foster home” who gives me lots of love and attention (yummy food too!) and I’m really loving this new life!

I really like my foster Mom, She’s the best. Wherever foster mom is, you can find me, whether in the kitchen, sitting on the couch or the bestest is bed time where I get to share “Mom’s bed! Yes!!! If there’s another dog in the home I would do best with one similar in size or I’d be fine to be your one and only.

My new home needs to be with adults only since I’m a bit of a shy girl, and a family that’s home more often than not, so If you’re retired or work from home, that’d be “paw”some cuz’ then I wouldn’t be alone too much. This “housebreaking” thing is slow going, I do try to use the tinkle pads in the house if I don’t get outside in time, but Mom is very patient and is teaching me, but since I lived outside most of my life before coming here, this is all new to me. My new family has to really understand that and continue to patiently teach me and I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it. I’ve been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and am current on my heartworm and flea prevention. If you’d like to meet me, please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. Hope to meet you soon! Licks and tail wags, Roxy

DOG BREED: Terrier Mix – Morkie?? Maltese?? Chi??

DOG WEIGHT: Princess-6 lbs

Rascal-9lbs GENDER: one Female and one Male

HOUSE TRAINED: Yes

LOCATION: Redington Beach, FL

COLOR: Grey, Black, Cream

Gets along with CATS: UNKNOWN

Gets along with DOGS: Yes – but prefer to be the only 2 pups in the home.

Recommend Fenced Yard – Secured, these cuties are little, they can squeeze through small openings.

Hi everyone! We are Princess and Rascal, a very loving BONDED pair of siblings. Princess is 2 1/2 years old ( the smaller of the 2) while Rascal is almost 3. Are we not the cutest little dumplings you have ever seen? We sure think so! We are thought to be a little terrier mix, some Yorkie, some Maltese and maybe Chihuahua all mixed in one, but what we DO know is how adorable we are! Our foster Mommy really loves us and is taking great care of us. We have foster doggy siblings and they are kinda cool too. We have always been the only pups in our previous home and would prefer to be the only pups in our new “fur”ever home. We love to cuddle and play with each other. We are not familiar with cats, so we are not sure how we’d get along with them. Older respectful kids should be fine, as we are happy playful pupsters.

When we got to VIP Rescue we had only been exposed to a fenced yard and we learned to take our business outside, we love the yard, we watch the birds and butterflies, and chase squirrels. Princess loves that the most, however she hasn’t caught any…. yet. Ha! It’s so fun to run around and get some exercise, which is also good for us! Our foster mom has been taking us on leash walks and you know what?? WE love to walk on a leash. How about that, huh? Who would’ve thought! So who is up for the 2 of us? We are bonded, so that means we stick together through everything. We want to give a huge thank you to VIP Rescue for going the extra mile to make sure we stay together for ever. If you’re unable to adopt both of us, please check out one of the other pups available for adoption.

Princess is spayed and Rascal is neutered, both are vaccinated, microchipped and on heart worm and flea prevention.

If you’d like to meet them, please visit www.viprescue.org. and fill out an adoption application. They hope to meet you soon!

KEVIN / FRUITLAND PARK, FL

ADOPT KEVIN VIP RESCUE: www.viprescue.org

DOG NAME: KEVIN AGE: estimated 2-3 yrs. DOG BREED: Goldendoodle DOG WEIGHT: 40 lbs GENDER: Male HOUSETRAINED: Yes LOCATION: Fruitland Park, FL COLOR: Beige / Apricot

ADOPTION RESTRICTIONS: -You must be a resident of FL -Requires a 5-foot fenced yard in a single-family home. -No children under 10, no renters. -KEVIN requires an experienced handler, no first-time dog owners. We recommend professional training for Kevin. -To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, they must be current on vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent appropriate veterinary care.

ADOPT KEVIN: KEVIN is a very happy joyful young boy full of love and life, very affectionate, and just waiting for his new home with open paws. He is still very much a puppy at heart. He follows you everywhere, you will never experience loneliness after meeting KEVIN. He is very smart, but he needs further training on basic obedience commands, going into his kennel if you choose to crate, and guarding his toys. He enjoys leash walking. Kevin loves car rides, plays well with other dogs, and ignores the cat in his foster home. If you leave something on your counter, he will swipe it – typical of the breed. He has a lot of energy, and needs lots of exercise both mentally and physically stimulating. He is not happy being left alone for long periods of time, but has great house manners and he does not get on furniture or beds – he sleeps in his dog bed. He is housetrained, no issues – so long as he is let out frequently.. He learns quickly, he is focused on you, and he aims to please. He will bark at intruders, but it has not been excessive. Kevin is ready to begin his journey with a family of his very own that can run with him, entertain him, and play with him often. If you are ready for a bouncy intelligent high-energy pup, look no further. Kevin will be a dedicated devoted companion.

MEETING KEVIN: He is fostered in Fruitland Park, FL. and will be adopted to homes within a reasonable distance. You will need to travel to Fruitland Park to meet Kevin if your application is approved. You will need to bring all your family members and pets for the introduction meeting.

The GOLDENDOODLE BREED: Kevin is tons of fun but he does require ALOT of work! Exercise in your fenced yard, leash walks, patience, and additional training on your family’s part to be the best dog he can be! Please do your homework on the breed, they are not for everyone. They are high energy, have a high-prey drive, and require a grassy yard to exercise in that is fenced on all 4 sides with a minimum 5-foot fence. Kevin is not recommended if you have children under 10. He occasionally guards his toys, and does not want to give them up. Kevin is eager to learn, athletic, agile, wickedly smart, and a velcro dog. Kevin want to be an active participant in your daily life. His average lifespan is typically 12-15 years, so keep their lifespan in mind if you are thinking of adopting Kevin. Your age should be appropriate for his estimated lifespan. High quality food is essential. Kevin requires monthly grooming and frequent brushing. Grooming ranges from $100-$200.

KEVIN HISTORY: Kevin was a stray dog and was sent to the Animal Shelter. No one claimed Kevin, so he came to VIP Rescue. We have no information or history on his past.

KEVIN MEDICAL: Kevin is neutered, he is up to date on vaccines, preventatives, he is microchipped, and heartworm negative. He comes with a collar and leash.

KEVIN ADOPTION: VIP Rescue reserves the right to approve or disapprove adoption applications submitted. If your adoption application is approved, you will be required to travel to the dogs foster home to meet the dog. A home visit by VIP Rescue at your home is a pre-requisite in the adoption process. DOG NAME: Ally

DOB: 8-10-17

DOG BREED: Terrier Mix – Wire coat

DOG WEIGHT: 13 lbs

GENDER: Female

HOUSE TRAINED: Yes

LOCATION: Redington Beach, FL

COLOR: Apricot / Blonde

Gets along with cats: No

Gets along with otters dogs: Yes, recommended to have an established dog in home.

ADOPTION RESTRICTIONS: -You must be a resident of FL -Requires a 6-foot fenced yard in a single-family home. -No children, no renters. -No men in home -ALLY requires an experienced handler, no first-time dog owners. -To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, they must be current on vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent appropriate veterinary care.

We’d like you to meet Ally! Ally is a five year old 13 pound terrier mix with gorgeous blonde hair and the cutest ears you’ve ever seen!!

Ally came from a horrible hoarding situation, and spent most of her life outside without hardly any human interaction. She’s slowly learning to trust and she’s so happy to be out of that horrible situation thanks to VIP rescue and she Is now experiencing how amazing it is to be loved and snuggled and live in the AC!!

Ally is extremely shy, though she really wants to come out of her shell and enjoy love and attention. In the time since she’s been with VIP, she’s gone from being scared of everything and hiding from people to jumping up in her foster mom’s lap for pets, belly rubs, and snuggles. She often smiles and wiggles happily now, where only a few weeks ago she would cower and shake. She loves following her foster mom around and being in whatever room she is in, even if she isn’t quite sure yet if she trusts completely. She loves sleeping in the “big bed” snuggled up with her foster mom and foster siblings.

She loves playing with her foster siblings and is great with other dogs, recommended to have an established dog in home. Ally is house and crate trained but she doesn’t like being left alone. She walks very nicely on a leash, but she is still jumpy and scared of cars and passersby during walks, so her new person will need to be very attentive during walks to keep her safe. A secured 6 foot fenced surrounding yard, attached to home, is REQUIRED to adopt Ally.

We have found out that Ally must be in a fairly quiet, adult only female home with her person home most of the day and who has a fur sibling to keep her company and show her the ropes. She cannot be in a home with men or children at any time, as she is extremely fearful of them. This poor dog must’ve had an awful life before coming to VIP, our hearts just break thinking about it. We know this is alot to ask of someone, but we just know her “fur” ever Mom is out there somewhere. She’ll need a very patient person who’s willing to give her the time and space she needs to warm up and become comfortable in her new surroundings. This is very very important, and she is totally worth it! Might you be that Mom she’s looking for? She sure hopes so!

Ally has been spayed, microchipped and current on all vaccines and preventatives. If you’re interested in applying to adopt Ally, please visit www.viprescue.org

DAISY DUKE / TAVARES FL

DOG NAME: DAISY DUKE

DOB: 08/18/2022

DOG BREED: AussieDoodle

DOG WEIGHT: 16.4 lbs

GENDER: Female

HOUSETRAINED: Working on it

LOCATION: Foster Home in Tavares, Florida

COLOR: Black / White

ADOPTION RESTRICTIONS: – -You must be a resident of FL and Homeowner -Daisy Duke requires a 5-foot fenced yard in a single-family home. -To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, they must be current on vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent appropriate veterinary care. -If you are planning a vacation in the next 30 days, please refrain from adopting at this time. We do not hold dogs for adoption. -Daisy Duke requires monthly grooming and frequent brushing. –Please make sure you have considered her monthly costs for grooming at a professional groomer, and frequent bathing. -Please make a commitment to enroll in obedience training for Daisy Duke.

ADOPT DAISY DUKE: Do you think you want a puppy? Well, you’ve come to the right place! We believe Daisy Duke is an Aussiedoodle – her Mom was a Standard Poodle, Dad was an Australian Shepherd. The Aussiedoodle is a mixed breed dog, smart, playful, and loyal. An Aussiedoodle’s intelligence and eagerness to please makes them a wonderful canine companion. Playful and outgoing, these genius pet pals need consistent positive training and setting boundaries to ensure a happy, productive, and safe environment. AussieDoodles are an intelligent, athletic crossbreed with oodles of love to spare. Aussiedoodles could be a terrific choice for active pet parents who want a low-allergen pooch. If you have dog allergies, please refrain from submitting an adoption application for Daisy Duke. Daisy Duke is very affectionate, loves to give kisses, and likes other dogs. Daisy Duke is in a teething stage now, likes to chew on you, and her teeth are sharp. We recommend a home with older children or no children at this stage.

The average lifespan of an Aussiedoodle is 12-15 years; therefore, please make sure your age reflects the lifespan of this puppy

If you are ready for a bouncy, high energy, puppy … Daisy Duke will not disappoint. If you are willing and able to accept this challenge, a VIP RESCUE ADOPTION APPLICATIONS: Please submit an adoption application at www.viprescue.org VIP Rescue reserves the right to approve or disapprove adoption applications. I do like hangin out in the yard with my foster siblings with the sun on my face, ahhhhhh feels so good!  I like exercise, which is good for you and also good for me! Oh, did I mention I LOVE toys? What’s up Florida, I’m Lainey. My Rescue friends think I’m a Dachshund mix girlie. I’m 13 lbs and just 11 mo old. I am a little on the skinny side and was always looking for the next meal, but here at my foster home and with a proper puppy diet I’ll be at a good weight real soon. (Foster Mom is the best!)

I just love to cuddle with foster mom, and I get along famously with all the other doggies in the house, annnddd toys, OMG.. I LOVE them…I’m not familiar with cats, so I’m not sure how I’d get along with them. An active human or family with respectful kids would be pawsome and maybe another pupper for me to play with. Hi! Im Dimples! Cute name for a cute pupper, huh? I’m a 1 1/2 year old 15lb. Rat terrier/Minpin/Sheba Inu?? LOL?? mix sweetie. I recently got to this great place called a foster home where the Mommy gets to know me and take care of me and then she can tell you a little about me!

I’m a sweet little snuggle bug who loves to hang out and be close to you. Like a lot of new doggies feel, I’m a little shy at first but warm up nicely and then we’re the bestest friends. I think that’s the greatest! I walk good on a leash and am house and crate trained as well. Foster Mom says that’s a great thing! (she’s so funny, right?) My foster home has a human “kid” that I’m good with, and I just need to be introduced slowly to any new puppers in the home, cause’ I get a little nervous. I’ve been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and started on my heartworm and flea prevention. I’m ready to roll! How about it, do I sound like the gal for you? Gets along with DOGS: Yes – if introduced slowly

Hello everyone, my name is B.B.! I’m an adorable 1 1/2 year old 12lb. Rat Terrier/MinPin mix girl anxiously seeking her new forever home. I’m a sweet Southern girl with a touch of “spice” but with everything nice! I enjoy snuggling up to my human to watch TV or hang with them while they read a book. I do like to take things slow as I’m a little shy at first, but as soon as I’m comfy, you’ll have my heart “fur”ever. Foster Mom said I do well on a leash and am housebroken and crate trained, woohoo! I do get along with other puppers my size, but please introduce me slowly as I get nervous.

When I got here at VIP Rescue, they were told I was heartworm positive, but hey! don’t worry cuz’ my friends here will cover the entire cost of my treatment. You will need to live within an hour of St Petersburg Fl, to take me to my time sensitive Vet appointments. Also, during treatment I’ll need to hang low, no running in the yard, long walks or hard playing until the “dog”ter says I’m all better. My rescue friends will go over everything in detail with my new family.

I’ve been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and I’m on my flea and heartworm prevention as well. If you think I’m the girl for you, please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application.

Tyson/Redington Beach Available for Adoption. VIPRescue.org

I am Tyson the Brave, protector of my castle and my people. I enjoy going on adventures and long walks around the neighborhood. I am happy to meet new people, young and old. My favorite place in the world is home, playing with my stuffies, getting some sun in the yard, or on the lap of my human. I love to sleep close to my humans. Really close.?

I am a happy, handsome, and playful 9 year old, 9 lb Italian Greyhound/Chi/Terrier mix. I am a terrific guard dog, always vigilant and on the ready. I will warn you of any dangers with my super loud bark – dragons, delivery people, or dogs. But when the coast is clear, I am a quiet, lovable dog.

Although I am pretty brave, being alone and loud noises really scare me. I need extra cuddles during thunderstorms. I’m looking for a quiet forever home with people who are home a lot, and who will have patience with me as I adjust, as I have had a lot of changes in the last few years. My last human fell on hard times and I was surrendered to this wonderful rescue. I would prefer to be an only dog, but could be open to another dog, a submissive pup as I like to have all the attention, a meet and greet will be required.

I am a happy, easy dog that appreciates lots of couch cuddles. I have lots of love to give to just the right family. I am up to date with vaccines, neutered, microchipped and I’ve had a fresh dental. I am now heartworm negative. ? To adopt me, please submit an application to www.viprescue.org I hope my “fur” ever will come soon, my bags are packed and I’m ready to start my new life! ???

DOG NAME: Farley

DOB: 6/13/20

DOG BREED: Terrier Mix

DOG WEIGHT: 15 lbs

GENDER: Male

HOUSE TRAINED: yes

LOCATION: Redington Beach, FL

COLOR: White/Grey

Gets along with CATS: No

Gets along with DOGS: Yes – if introduced slowly – **He needs to be the only dog/pet in home

Recommend Fenced Yard

Farley is a one of kind pup. He is a cutie, however he has some requirements for his furever home. PLEASE read entire bio before you consider adoption.

He’s a snuggly 2 year old, 15lb male ShihTzu/Schnauzer terrier mix who is always smiling….okay, he may have an underbite

He loves to sit on your lap, run around outside and enjoys playing with other dogs at least his size or bigger (when introduced properly). Farley needs an experienced dog owner, a home with only one adult and no children. He wants to be the center of attention, he does not want to share you with anyone and he will protect you from anyone and everything (cars, bicycles, dogs, cats and other people to name a few).

He’s housebroken and walks excellent on a leash. He loves long walks, weather permitting, and would make a fantastic walking fitness buddy. He has some food aggression and needs to be fed in his crate.

Farley loves to sleep in his crate at night he is not a fan of the crate during the day. He wants to be wherever you are!

He has had some training and would do best to continue the training, he comes with 1 private training session. You must use this session for a successful adoption. Please confirm you have the time and energy to work with him, it will be worth it for success.

Farley is neutered, microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations and current on flea/heartworm prevention.

Interested in welcoming Farley into your home? Apply now at VIPRescue.org

Wow, have we got the girl for you!!!!! ❤️🐾

We’d like you to meet Ellie, an absolutely wonderful  35lb. 1 1/2 year old Terrier/Lab mix gal.
She loves to play fetch with you in the yard, and will need some solid toys, as she tends to “destroy” the plush ones! She does great on her walks, and seems to do well with other dogs of her size, but can play a little rough with the smaller puppers. Ellie is a great watch dog, who will let you know if someone is coming to your door. She can be nervous at times when venturing outside her “home” but does relax after a bit of time. Ellie loves to hang with you, her human, on the couch watching some great TV! She prefers and will do best in a quieter adult household, as sweet Ellie attaches easily and will give you kisses and wag her tail to let you know “you’re her person”. Ellie is a real happy girl and looks like she’s smiling when she’s with her humans. A secure fenced in yard is a requirement for Ellie’s new home, as she does love to play and exercise out there. Do you have the type of home that Ellie is looking for and maybe another pup
in your home already for her to play with? She sure hopes so, and is anxiously waiting to hear from you! Ellie is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and on heartworm and flea prevention. Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. 🐾❤️
