Hi there friends, it’s me, Reese! I’m an adorable 8lb, 10 year young (and VERY active) Papillion mix boy. I’m one of those zippy, zoomie type fellas, but, rest assured, you will fall in love with me! My previous life was a bit of the “ups and downs”, but now here at VIP Rescue, it’s all on the “up swing”! Foster Mom says I’m a good boy, but I’ll tell you what, once I get settled, it’s all about me! Yup, it’s my couch, my chair, my food, my lap, my bed, (well, our bed cuz’ I love sleeping in the human bed snuggled up with you!) and of course MY human. Ha! See what I mean! Because it’s “ all about me” , I’ll need to be your one and only in an adult only household with no kiddos or grand kiddos. I just don’t do well with them, k? I’m know my house manners, foster Mom takes me on sniffy walks every few hours I have learned to go potty outside. I really don’t need a fenced yard as long as you take me out frequently enough for potty breaks. I’ll also need to be groomed and brushed regularly or else I get all matted, and just so you know, I do shed a bit. I’m looking for quieter adult only “fur” home that has the time and patience for me, and one that’s home more often than not. I’m neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, had a recent dental and am on heartworm and flea prevention.

Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. If you’ve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years, please provide all the names and number for each vet. This breed typically lives 13-18 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pets estimated lifespan.
All of us at VIP Rescue are Volunteers, with families, jobs and pets of our own, so please be kind and patient. We select the most fitting application for the dog, not necessarily the timeliest adoption application.
