Hi everyone, my name is Mary, a 3 year old 18lb terrier mix gal who is a very friendly, high energy girl. As you can see, I’m an attractive young lady if I do say so myself, and have the happiest of tails and a great easy going personality. I get along with other dogs and quickly became a central part of the pack, I really love everyone, including kids, and would love to be in a house with other dogs and kids, I think I even get along with the “feline” type! A little secret about me….shhhhhh…Kisses are one of my specialties! Just give me room to run and I’ll be good; a big backyard with a 6 foot fence and I’ll be in doggie heaven. Did I mention that I have “lots” of energy?? Ha! I’ll definitely need an active family to keep up with me!

I quickly learned the dog doors, but am still working on my “potty training” as my foster Mom calls it. I’m very curious too, and maybe a little nosy as I try to participate in everything and I mean everything! “Mom” says I’m a good girl on the leash and enjoy a short walk when it’s not so hot out.

I’ve been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and am on heartworm and flea prevention.

If you want to meet me please fill out an application at viprescue.org and the great folks there will take over. I look forward to meeting you and am sure you’ll fall in love with me.

Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. If you’ve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years, please provide all the names and number for each vet. This breed typically lives 13-18 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pets estimated lifespan.

All of us at VIP Rescue are Volunteers, with families, jobs and pets of our own, so please be kind and patient. We select the most fitting application for the dog, not necessarily the timeliest adoption application. Please make sure to read the entire bio on the pet you’re interested in before applying to adopt to make sure you meet the pets needs. Thank you for thinking rescue.
