Happy, happy, happy that’s how we’d describe this great boy! We would like to introduce you to Tater, a very active 5 mo old Jack Russell mix boy. He is currently 17 pounds, and estimated to be around 25 to 30 pounds give or take as an adult weight.
Tater is a very happy, busy and active puppy. Do you have a younger, active, playful dog Tater can play with? Are you an active family? Then he might be the cutie for you! Tater is great on leash walks, and is working on potty training and as long as he gets out enough, he’s a good boy with his house manners.(Remember, he’s still a puppy and can’t hold it that long yet!)
Tater is in the learning stages and all about learning to be a good boy, it’s recommended that he is placed in a home where he is not left alone for hours at a time since he’s still so young. Preference will be given to those homes that can meet his needs. He’s definitely not the couch potato type! He could be your one and only as long as you have an active life and he can be included with your activities. An active established pup in the home would help Tater burn off some of his puppy energy, and we think he’d really like that. Toys to play with, pups to play with, humans to play with, yup, that’s what he’s looking for! If you have a fenced yard he would love to do zoomies and explore. (Of course with supervision).
He is neutered, micro chipped, has age appropriate vaccines, and on monthly heartworm and flea prevention.
Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. If you’ve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years, please provide all the names and number for each vet. This breed typically lives 13-18 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pets estimated lifespan.
All of us at VIP Rescue are Volunteers, with families, jobs and pets of our own, so please be kind and patient. We select the most fitting application for the dog, not necessarily the timeliest adoption application. Please make sure to read the entire bio on the pet you’re interested in before applying to adopt to make sure you meet the pets needs. Thank you for thinking rescue.
