Bentley, Bentley, Bentley. That’s me as cute as can be. Hi friends, tis’ me, Bentley, an adorably handsome 13 year young, 13 pound ShihTzu mix. I have the cutest underbite that just adds to my charm. My foster mom said it was love at first sight, even though I was smelly, my hair was overgrown and I can howl like a fire engine, if I’m left in a crate too long, (foster mom only heard this once) when she first met me, but hey, it was a long night on a transport, and the transport “peoples” were helping me land in a safe place, and that safe place is VIP Rescue. Yep I am in the right place, and my new friends at VIP have promised to find me the perfect “fur”ever home. Woohoo!
I’m an easy going pooch, who loves soft doggie beds, leash walks and of course, yummy food! I’d love it if my new family will take me for leash walks a couple times a day and then afterwards we can snuggle up on the couch and watch some T.V. while relaxing! Oh, don’t forget, I’ll need to be groomed every 6-8 weeks, so please keep that cost in mind if you’re interested in adopting me. Grooming can run anywhere from $ 60.00 and up each time. Do you think you could be my new family??? I would LOVE to be in my new “fur” ever home for the holidays, that would be “paw” some, don’t you think?
I am neutered, up to date with vaccinations, microchipped and on monthly heartworm and flea prevention, oh I also got a fresh dental and groom. My bags are packed and I’m ready to go!!!

Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. If you’ve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years, please provide all the names and number for each vet. This breed typically lives 13-18 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pets estimated lifespan.
All of us at VIP Rescue are Volunteers, with families, jobs and pets of our own, so please be kind and patient. We select the most fitting application for the dog, not necessarily the timeliest adoption application.
