Roxanne is a petite 41lb 3yr old petite female standard poodle. Roxanne loves everyone she meets, and she is simply irresistible! She doesn’t know a stranger. She isn’t afraid to give a little growl when initially meeting new dogs, but once she gets to know them, she’s happy to chase the ball, poodle romp, and do zooms with them! Roxanne is crate trained and currently sleeps in her crate at her foster home. She is a Velcro girl, always wanting to be at your side. She enjoys her blanky and toys in bed with her. Roxy is curious and likes to explore her fenced in yard. Roxanne is a smart girl and comes when called, but needs more training on basic commands. She loves to stand up and give you hugs. She is big on kissing non-stop! She is a calm girl with a gentle temperament and does not like loud yelling or loud noises. She is potty trained, but could use a bell by the door to let you know she needs to go out. Roxanne tolerates grooming, but it is not her favorite pastime. She is a great car rider and loves to go go go go with you. She has not yet been exposed to cats or children as there are none at her foster home. Roxanne is a great eater and a happy frisky fun girl!
Roxanne comes to us from a situation the owner was no longer able to keep her. Though no fault of her own, she was passed around a few times before she came to VIP Rescue.
Roxanne is being fostered in Osteen Florida. To meet Roxanne, you will need to travel to Osteen to meet her.
Roxanne is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and in good health.
Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, live in a single family home, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, and be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. If you’ve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years, please provide all the names and number for each vet. This breed typically lives 12-15 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pets estimated lifespan.
