Hi there, my name is Squirt, a 2 year old terrier mix gal who my foster mom calls Ms. Happy, and everyone else I meet calls me Pretty Girl! I’m just a happy go lucky girl looking for a new family to love me fur ever. I wag my tail when I see my humans, I get sooooo excited to see them! I enjoy it when I get ear rubs, and I do a little dance at meal times. I am housebroken and crate trained, and I like to take my naps in there too. I do well with the “2” legged little humans in my foster home, but I definitely prefer the “ Mom”. I enjoy being petted and to play some ball, that’s really fun. Foster Mom said I do well meeting other dogs, but I also think I’d do well as an only dog and to be your center of attention. I do like exploring with my Foster family, but I prefer the “ quieter” kind of life style for sure.
I’ve been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and am current on my heartworm and flea prevention. If you’d like to meet me, ( which I sure hope you do!) please fill out an adoption application at www.viprescue.org, and the pawsome Volunteers here will take it from there!
Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. If you’ve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years, please provide all the names and number for each vet. This breed typically lives 12-15 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pets estimated lifespan.
All of us at VIP Rescue are Volunteers, with families, jobs and pets of our own, so please be kind and patient. We select the most fitting application for the dog, not necessarily the timeliest adoption application.
