Hi big world, I’m Nikita, ( foster Mommy calls me “Nik” or Nicky ??) I’m a 7 lb, 2 year old Chihuahua mix ‘lil girl. I had no idea what love or a warm friendly lap was until I lucked out and found myself at VIP Rescue with the bestest Foster Mommy ever! Everything is new to me, I’m done having babies and it’s all about me now! I still get nervous when my foster mom picks me up and shows me love and attention, but I am learning and she is so very patient, she just gets me. One thing I learned real quick is I just love snuggles at night time. I don’t think I’ve ever played before, and I am learning I like to play with doggies of similar size, but I do get scared some times. I’ll definitely need a very quiet adult only home, with human(s) that are home more often than not. I am learning house manners along with leash walks. I would love a secure fenced in yard where I can lounge in the sun and chase lizards., with you right by my side of course! I’m too little to be outside alone. I think I would be ok as your one and only, but if there is another small pup like me, I’m sure I could learn a thing or two with a furry sibling. I’ve been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and am current on my heartworm and flea prevention too! If you’ve got LOTS of time, love and most of all patience for a sweet little girl like me, please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application.

Additional pup in home recommended

Well, look who we have here! This fabulous 1 1/2 year old dog is Enzo, a beautiful lab mix boy weighing in at a healthy 75 lbs! Now, you know we are typically a small dog rescue, but Enzo came to us last summer from an over crowded shelter in the south as a 2 month old baby. His Mom was just 30lbs, but we didn’t know who daddy was. Thinking he might be in the 40lb range full grown, he was adopted into a loving home, but unfortunately due to weight restrictions, he was returned to VIP Rescue. His foster parents tell us that Enzo is a wonderful addition to their home. He is a well behaved boy who is leashed trained, housebroken, has great house manners and is an all around well socialized pup with both humans and other dogs, both big and small. He loves toys of any kind, and loves playing with his foster siblings in the yard.

Enzo is very loving and does not quite understand that he is a big dog especially when lounging on the couch or in bed. He really loves humans so much that he might just plop down on your lap or snuggle super close to you while reading or watching tv. Enzo’s disposition is sweet, innocent and loving. Enzo will require a single family home with a secure fenced in yard so he can enjoy all the great things he’s used to in a home. He’d do well with another friendly dog in the home, and a meet and greet will be required. Also, any kids in the home should be older due to his size. Enzo is neutered, microchipped  current on his vaccines as well as his heartworm and flea prevention. Does Enzo sound like the guy for you? He sure hopes so, please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application!

Hey there everyone! I’m Trey, a very loving 9 year old Chihuahua mix boy, and right now a little chubby boy at 14 pounds. My foster family really loves me and are taking great care of me, so I’m on a “doggie diet” to get back to a healthy weight for my size. These fosters, they know best! ?

I just love to cuddle with foster mom or dad, and get along famously with all the other doggies in the house. I’m not familiar with cats, so I’m not sure how I’d get along with them. Older respectful kids should be fine though, as I’m an easy going guy.

When I got to VIP Rescue, my teeth were in pretty bad shape, and when I went to the “dog”ter, they did a dental and had to remove most of my “toofers”. So now I must eat canned dog food, which is fine with me because I just love it! You should see me gobble down my food. My foster parents were told that I have seizures, so the “paw”some “dog”ter put me on one pill a day and it has them under control. My foster parents will discuss all of that in detail with you. I do love to walk on a leash, and the best part? I’m housebroken! I think I’d do best with a fenced in yard like I have at my foster home. It’s so fun to run around and get some exercise, which is also good for me! I’m neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and on heart worm and flea prevention.

If you’d like to meet me, please visit www.viprescue.org. and fill out an adoption application. I hope to meet you soon!

GENDER: Female

HOUSE TRAINED: PeePad and working on house training manners

Hey there everyone, my name is Lola Jack, and I’m a 7 month old 11lb. happy Jack Russell/ Rat terrier puppy who loves to be with my humans! My foster mom says I’m super sweet and I just love giving kisses.

I’m a puppy learning my manners and my way in the world. I’m enjoying my leash walks, and meeting new friends along the way. I love to run and enjoy company when I eat!  I’m crate and pee-pad trained and just rocking it at doing my business outside. I am always happy to see you and my tail nub wags almost non stop.

Did I mention I’m a puppy? lol… I need lots of attention, belly rubs, play time, and potty breaks. I have a lot of energy and I like daily walks. I do a cute army crawl and like being outside. I do really well going out around town. I’m also super helpful, like did you drop that crumb, that little plastic doo-dad, or that sock on the floor? Hey, I will find it! Like I said, I’m just learning. But I’m a fast learner and I’m happy to please.

I need someone to give me cuddles, keep teaching me manners, and keep me supplied in cool chew toys. I’m looking for a loving and active family to keep up with my puppy energy and who are home more often than not as I prefer not to be alone too much. I get along well with other dogs, and I play all day with my foster dog sister. But I’d really thrive in a home where I can be the center of attention.

I’m spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and on heartworm and flea prevention. So, whatya think? Are you that totally active family that can keep up with a really energetic puppy person I’m searching for? If so, please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application for me! Hope to meet my new family soon!

Licks and wags, Lola Jack.

TYSEN / FERNANDINA BEACH

DOG NAME: TYSEN

DOB: 2/12/20

DOG BREED: Standard Poodle.

DOG WEIGHT: 55.1

GENDER: Male

HOUSETRAINED: Yes

LOCATION: Fernandina Beach, FL 32034

COLOR: Apricot

ADOPTION RESTRICTIONS: -You must be a resident of FL or GA. -Tysen requires a 5 foot fenced yard in a single family home. -No children under 6, and no renters. -Tysen requires an experienced handler, no first time dog owners. -To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, they must be current on vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent appropriate veterinary care.

ADOPT TYSEN: Tysen is a very happy joyful young boy full of love and life, very affectionate, and just waiting for his new home with open paws. He is still very much a puppy at heart. He follows you everywhere, you will never experience loneliness after meeting Tysen. He is very smart, he knows sit, down, shake, stay, come, and NO!. He needs further work on leash walking but has improved greatly. If you leave something on your counter, he will swipe it – typical of the breed. He loves riding in the car, and when strapped in he is the perfect travel companion. He has a lot of energy, and needs lots of exercise both mentally and physically stimulating. He is not happy being left alone for long periods of time, but has great house manners and he does not get on furniture or beds. He is housetrained, no issues – so long as he is let out frequently. With other dogs, he gets very excited at introductions and sometimes needs a time out when he gets over stimulated. He is a player, loves to engage with the other dogs in the home. He is a great home office companion, laying calmly at your side in the office showering you with kisses. He learns quickly, he is focused on you, and he aims to please. He will bark at intruders, but it has not been excessive. Tysen is ready to begin his journey with a family of his very own that can run with him, entertain him, and play with him often. If you are ready for a bouncy intelligent high-energy pup, look no further. He will be a dedicated devoted companion to the end……….

MEETING TYSEN: He is fostered in Fernandina Beach, FL. and will be adopted to homes within a reasonable distance of Fernandina Beach in Florida or Georgia. You will need to travel to Fernandina Beach, FL to meet Tysen if your application is approved. You will need to bring all your family members and pets for the introduction meeting. He has not been tested with small dogs or cats. He has been fostered in a home with two Standard Poodle female adults.

The STANDARD POODLE BREED: Tysen is tons of fun but he does require ALOT of work! Exercise in your fenced yard, leash walks, patience, and consistent training on your family’s part to be the best dog he can be! Please do your homework on the Standard Poodles breed, they are not for everyone. They are high energy, have a high-prey drive, and require a grassy yard to exercise in that is fenced on all 4 sides with a minimum 6-foot fence. Tysen is not recommended if you have children under 6……. Standard Poodles are eager to learn, they are athletic, agile, wickedly smart, and are very versatile velcro dogs. They want to be an active participant in your daily life. Standard Poodles typically live 12-15 years, so keep their lifespan in mind if you are thinking of adopting Tysen. Your age should be appropriate for his estimated lifespan. High quality food is essential. Standard Poodles require monthly grooming, frequent brushing, and Tysen is no exception. Grooming ranges from $100-$200. They love being around people and are able to form bonds with each member of the family, as opposed to bonding with just one person. They also make superb watchdogs barking zealously when strangers approach the home. Poodles may look dainty and demur, but in truth, these are high-stamina dogs with a stellar range of skills, including agility, obedience, hunting and herding.

TYSEN HISTORY: Tysen was surrendered by his family to VIP Rescue. He was a gift, he was very loved, but was not a candidate for a home with a new baby, two parents that worked 8-10 hours per day away from home, and no yard for him to exercise. He was trained in the past with an E-Collar using the tone and vibration features and has been very responsive to our training at VIP Rescue. You would be wise to commit to further training for Tysen if you adopt him.

TYSEN MEDICAL: He was recently neutered while with VIP Rescue, he is up to date on vaccines, preventatives, he is microchipped, and heartworm negative. He comes with his bed, harness, a collar, leash, and his favorite chew bone. The adoption donation for Tysen is $450.

VIP RESCUE ADOPTION APPLICATIONS: VIP Rescue reserves the right to approve or disapprove adoption applications submitted based on each dogs’ specific needs. If your adoption application is approved, you will be required to travel to the dogs foster home to meet the dog. A home visit by VIP Rescue at your home is a pre-requisite in the adoption process. Our Volunteers will be in touch with those that meet the criteria for adopting Tysen.

Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application and to also see the many other wonderful pets in our Rescue waiting for their “fur”ever home. All of our staff at VIP Rescue are Volunteers, so please be kind and patient. All information provided in the Adoption application will remain confidential and not be shared outside of designated VIP Rescue Volunteers. Taylor/Redington Beach

Hi ya’ll I’m Taylor, an itty bitty 6 1/2 month old lil’ chihuahua mix girl who currently weighs a whopping 4.4 lbs! I’m sure I’ll get a little bigger, especially with all the yummy nutritious food my foster Mommy feeds me. When VIP Rescue took me in, I had some skin issues and have lost some of my fur. They have taken excellent care of me and its slowly growing back. I still have some splotchy spots, and it looks like I might have some longer hair when it grows in all the way. Yeah!

I came from a hoarding situation, and spent most of my young life without much human interaction. I’m slowly learning to trust people and I’m so happy to be out of that horrible situation thanks to VIP rescue and I’m now experiencing how amazing it is to be loved and snuggled. I have just started leash walks (doing pretty good too!) and I’m figuring out even though I’m so tiny, I am mighty 💪 and can even lead the pack as long as no one else is out walking or cars going by, otherwise I stay real close to foster mom cuz she protects me from scary things ❤️

In the weeks since I’ve been in my foster home, I’ve gone from being scared of everything and hiding from people to jumping up in foster mom’s lap for pets, belly rubs, and snuggles. I actually smile and wiggle happily now, where only a few weeks ago I would cower and shake. I am learning to play with toys with the help of my foster siblings. I love following foster mom around and being in whatever room the people are, even if I’m not quite sure yet if I trust them completely. I do LOVE sleeping in the “big bed” snuggled up with my foster mom and any other pup that fits on the bed.

Foster Mommy said I’m house and crate trained but I definitely don’t like being left alone for long periods of time and I don’t think my little bladder can hold it for a very long time either, cuz, you know, I’m still a baby! 🤗🐾

I know I would do best in a home with a smaller fur sibling to keep me company and show me the ropes. Foster Mom says I’m a bit of a “drama queen” when I get overwhelmed with a pup bigger than me, and boy will I tell you about it, but I’ll usually hang out and continue to play with them anyway. I have learned to do my business outside in a fenced yard. I’m looking for a very patient family who’s willing to give me the time and space I need to warm up and become comfortable in my new surroundings. This is very very important, and I’m totally worth it! Might you be that family I’m looking for? I’ve been spayed, microchipped and current on all my vaccines and preventatives. If you’re interested in applying to adopt me, please visit www.viprescue.org

Love and tail wags, Taylor ❤️🐾

Bruce/ Largo

Where do we start? This sweet old soul, whom we have named Bruce, wandered the streets for a bit, and when caught, was turned over to Animal Services where he waited and waited for his humans to come looking for him. His “found” post was forwarded to our VIP Rescue Director, and without ANY hesitation, Betsy being Betsy, jumped into action and requested a rescue transfer when his legal stray hold was up. We received the message that no one came for him, and he was ready for transfer. Little did Bruce know, he just hit the doggie lottery!

His records showed he was blind, deaf, had dental disease, skin/allergy issues, and was a “geriatric” boy. That NEVER stops Betsy, in fact, she has a real soft spot for the “seniors”. ❤️ Once in his foster home, we discovered he can see a bit and we think he can hear a little bit too. He has no problem finding his food bowl at meal time, a soft bed to nap on or issues navigating the steps to go outside to do his business. Bruce went to the “dog” ter and was given the ok to be neutered and have a fresh dental. He has a strong heart (loving too❤️) and is in good shape for a 12 year old 18 lb. Poodle.

Bruce LOVES walks with the rest of the pack, naps (who doesn’t love a nap, right?😉) food, chin and belly rubs. Bruce needs an adult only home, somewhere he can relax with you and enjoy his senior years being spoiled rotten. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and current on his heartworm and flea prevention. Sound like the boy for you? Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. Bruce really hopes to meet you soon! 🐾❤️

Ally/St Petersburg

We’d like you to meet Ally!  Ally is a five year old 12 pound terrier mix with gorgeous blonde ombre hair and the cutest ears you’ve ever seen!!

Ally came from a hoarding situation, and spent most of her life outside without much  human interaction. She’s slowly learning to trust people and she’s so happy to be out of that horrible situation thanks to VIP rescue and she Is now experiencing how amazing it is to be loved and snuggled and live in the AC!!

Allie is shy, though she really wants to come out of her shell and enjoy love and attention. In the weeks since she has been in her foster home, she’s gone from being scared of everything and hiding from people to jumping up in her foster mom’s lap for pets, belly rubs, and snuggles. She often smiles and wiggles happily now, where only a few weeks ago she would cower and shake.  She loves following her foster mom around and being in whatever room the people are, even if she isn’t quite sure yet if she trusts them completely. She loves sleeping in the “big bed” snuggled up with her foster mom and foster sisters.

She loves playing with her foster sisters and is great with other dogs. Ally is house and crate trained but she doesn’t like being left alone.  She walks very nicely on a leash, but she is still jumpy and scared of cars and passersby during walks, so her new family will need to be very attentive during walks to keep her safe. A secured 6 foot fenced surrounding yard, attached to home, is REQUIRED to adopt Ally.

Ally would do best in a very calm, quiet, adult only home with people that are home most of the day and who have a fur sibling or two to keep her company and show her the ropes. She’ll need a very patient family who’s willing to give her the time and space she needs to warm up and become comfortable in her new surroundings. This is very very important, and she is totally worth it! Might you be that family she’s looking for? She sure hopes so! 🐾❤️

Ally has been spayed, microchipped and current on all vaccines and preventatives. If you’re interested in applying to adopt Ally, please visit www.viprescue.org

Fin / Indian Rocks Beach

*** WE DO NOT ADOPT OUT OF STATE***

Did you say you want a puppy? Well, you’ve come to the right place!

These adorable, affectionate and playful puppies were born 6/27/22, and are thought to be Chi/Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier mixes. There is one male, Fin (white with black ears) available. The mom, Fiona, is 11 lbs, but dad is unknown so adult weight could range from 10-20ish lbs. They are current on age-appropriate shots, spayed/neutered, microchipped and on heartworm and flea prevention.

If you are ready for a bouncy, high energy puppy, one of these sweet pups might be right for you!!!! They are ready to begin their journey with a family of their very own. They are working on tinkle pad training and then will graduate to leash and outdoor potty training. Puppies are tons of fun, but they do require LOTS of time, work and training on your part to be the best pup they can be! They need love, attention, routines and lots of consistency, especially for housebreaking! Their little bladders can’t hold it all day so please make sure you can commit to the puppy not being left along longer than 4 hours during the day. If that’s not possible, please consider one of our adult dogs which might be better suited for your lifestyle!

Our Volunteers will be in touch with those that meet the criteria for these puppies. Please visit www.viprescue.orgto fill out an adoption application and to also see the many other wonderful pets in our Rescue waiting for their “fur”ever home.🐾

Please submit an adoption application at www.viprescue.org

Fiona/Indian Rocks Beach

Available for Adoption

Meet Fiona! This precious dog came in to VIP Rescue with her 4 pups in tow. She has been an amazing momma, but now that her pups are weaned and well on their own ways, the time has come to find Fiona a home to call her own.

Fiona is a 4 year old chihuahua/dachshund/terrier mix. She currently weighs 11 1/2lbs. She is a petite, fit, active and well socialized dog. She is affectionate, cuddly and likes to be near her person. Foster mom’s lap is her preferred spot, but when that is not available, she is good at self entertaining with herself or others.

Fiona is great with other small to medium sized friendly dogs. She would do fine in a home as a single dog, or as an addition to a home that already has a dog. If you already have a dog, a meet and greet is required.

Fiona has not been cat tested, therefore, no cats please. She has not been kid tested either, but her foster believes she would do fine with dog socialized respectful kids 8+.

Fiona is advancing quickly with her leash manners and housebreaking skills. Although she would like a fenced in yard, Fiona would do fine with regularly scheduled walks. She is crate and potty pad trained. Fiona is not an excessive barker.

Fiona has been spayed, is up to date on her vaccinations, microchipped and on monthly flea and heartworm preventative.

Butters/Seminole

Well, hi there! My name is Butters, and I’m a 2 year old 22lb Schnauzer/Terrier mix? I think? lol…It doesn’t really matter, cuz’ I’m just a great boy with alot of energy to burn. Yup, I’m THAT guy… Anywho, I recently came to Florida, and boy, is it ever hot here! Thankfully foster Mom has that A/C cranking to keep me cool. I like all the puppers in my foster home, and would do well with another dog in the home my size or even a bit bigger! I’m THAT guy! But listen, when I got here they told me I am positive for Heartworm disease, but don’t let that stuff stop you from adopting me cuz my friends here at VIP Rescue take care of ALL costs associated with my treatment. But…. ( always a but, right?) I CANNOT run around like a crazy boy, I can only go on VERY short walks when it’s cool out, or leashed in the backyard for potty breaks during treatment cuz’ Dogtor said those icky worms can break off and make me real sick if I’m too active. My Rescue friends will go over all that stuff in detail with you. Now, for the good stuff about me, I’m housebroken, have a s”smile” that doesn’t quit, and am an all around happy fella. I would be best in a home where the kids are at least 12+ or an adult only home would be swell too. If you do have another doggie, we’d have to meet to make sure we’ll be “fur” friends, k? I would like my human home more often than not, I get a’lil scared when I’m left for too long. Prefer a home with a fenced yard.  No Apartments or townhomes please. I’m neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and on heartworm and flea prevention now. Whatya think, huh? Am I a cutie or what? Please visit www.viprescue.org and fill out the adoption application so we can meet! Hope to see you soon! Love and tails wags, your friend, Butters 😘

Daquiri – Osteen, FL

Adopt DAQUIRI / OSTEEN, FL

Meet Daquiri!  He is an affectionate loving senior boy at 10 years old born 10/24/12.   Daquiri, his offspring and siblings were found on 5/22/2022 locked in pens outdoors with no access to food or water after their owner was found deceased.  Daquiri came to VIP Rescue weighing in at 41 pounds; he had lost 24 lbs. and was in dire shape when he came into rescue.   Under the excellent care of our VIP Rescue foster home, and our wonderful veterinarians, Daquiri has gained much of his weight back, was neutered, and is flourishing in his foster home.  He is ready to find his new home.

Daquiri is house trained, a Velcro dog, would love to sleep next to you on your bed and accompany you wherever you go.  In his prior home,

Daquiri was a certified Therapy Dog and was active in a local Therapy Dog organization.  He likes to go shopping with you, go out to eat with you, and kindly greet kids and adults while out with you.  He gets along well with the dogs in his foster home and others we have introduced him to.  He is friendly with adults and children alike. Daquiri walks beautifully on a leash, he likes to ride in the car with you and does well on the grooming table.  He barks after you come home as if to tell you his opinion about that!  Daquiri has diminished night vision, however, he can navigate fine inside a home and outside during daylight.  At night he likes to stay close to you. Daquiri is an easy dog, and does not ask for much……affection, quality food, walks, body rubs, naps, and frequent brushing and grooming.  He can still run and breaks out in poodle zoomies when outside in his fenced yard.  Daquiri is in great shape for his age!  He is looking for a home with open arms for a senior boy that has lots of love and time to share.

    .

Daquiri is recently neutered, up to date on all vaccines, heartworm negative, had a dental, and is microchipped.   Daquiri is fostered in Osteen, Florida.  To adopt Daquiri, you must come to meet him at his foster home, and introduce your dog(s) to him to make sure it is a match.  He has not been cat tested.

If you are interested in adopting Daquiri, please complete an adoption application at VIP Rescue to be considered. www.viprescue.org A home-visit is a pre-requisite in the adoption process at VIP RESCUE.  VIP Rescue reserves the right to approve or disapprove adoption applications submitted based on each dogs specific needs, their age, and the health of the dog we are adopting.

Daquiri’s adoption donation is $150.

Dixie/Fernandina Beach

Standard Poodle Female Puppies / Fernandina Beach, Florida. DIXIE

VIP Rescue has a Female Standard Poodle Puppy for adoption to FL and GA Residents. They were born 5.5.2022. They are very sweet pups, have not met a stranger, and get along with other dogs in the home. She is apricot in color. She is fostered in Fernandina Beach, FL. and will be adopted to homes within a reasonable distance of Fernandina Beach. Standard Poodles are high energy, have a high-prey drive, and require a grassy yard to exercise in that is fenced on all 4 sides with a minimum 6-foot fence. No exceptions. Puppies are not recommended if you have small children…….

These are very smart pups. These Standards are eager to learn, they are athletic, wickedly smart, and are very versatile dogs. They long to sit in your lap and will gladly give kisses! They have not met a stranger, and we are working on the leash walking and potty-training. These pups came to VIP Rescue as a result of an impending divorce. They have had one session with a groomer. The Puppies have age appropriate vaccines, are microchipped, have been dewormed, and are on preventatives. Their weights at intake were between 15lbs to 19lbs.

So, do you think you want a puppy? Well, you are at the right place! If you are ready for a bouncy intelligent high-energy puppy, one of these sweet pups might be right for you!!!! They are ready to begin their journey with a family of their very own that can run with them, play with them, and share their lap with them. Puppies are tons of fun but they do require ALOT of work, exercise in a yard, leash walks, patience, and consistent training on your family’s part to be the best pup they can be! They need structured training especially for housebreaking! Their little bladders can’t hold it all day so please make sure you are up to the task and are home to let them out every few hours. If that’s not possible, please consider one of our adult dogs which might be better suited for your lifestyle! Standard Poodles typically live 12-15 years, so keep their lifespan in mind if you are thinking of adopting one of these girls. Your age should be appropriate for the puppies estimated lifespan.

These puppies are people dogs, velcro dogs, and do not do well when left alone or unattended for long periods. Obedience training for the puppy is highly recommended at an early age for this extremely intelligent breed of dog. High quality food is essential for their growth and development. At present they are eating FROMM Puppy.

Please read the information below carefully before submitting an adoption application at VIP RESCUE. (www.viprescue.org)

Standard Poodles require monthly grooming, frequent brushing, and these puppies are no exception. Grooming ranges from $100-$200. Poodles are generally active and agile. They are happiest with daily walks and lots of outdoor play and exercise. Without enough attention and activity, they can get bored, agitated, restless and sometimes destructive. Also, if you can give your Poodle the opportunity to frolic in water, by all means do and start at an early age. Poodles do not like to be left alone for hours on end.

VIP Rescue reserves the right to approve or disapprove adoption applications submitted based on each dogs’ specific needs. If your adoption application is approved, you will be required to travel to the dogs foster home to meet the dog. A home visit by VIP Rescue at your home is a pre-requisite in the adoption process of these pups. After you submit your application, you should also call your Veterinarian’s office and give them your permission for VIP Rescue to speak with them to gather the necessary information to process your application. Our Volunteers will be in touch with those that meet the criteria for these puppies.

Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application and to also see the many other wonderful pets in our Rescue waiting for their “fur”ever home.

Upon receipt of your adoption application we will process the application as soon as possible and respond to you. All of our staff at VIP Rescue are volunteers. All information provided in the application will remain confidential and not be shared outside of VIP Rescue Volunteers.

Thank you for thinking rescue! The adoption donation is $550.

Rio/Safety Harbor

Hey there! My name is Rio, and I’m a 4 month old 12 lb. Chihuahua Mix boy. I am a very active boy and love alot of attention as I am still a baby, so I need a family that has enough time to play with me and be able to devote time to training me to be the best boy I can be! I’m too young to be left alone for long periods of time, so someone who is home more often than not is what I’m looking for. I’m still working on this “potty training” thing ( I’m getting good at it!) and need to go out often. I love to play with other puppies so another active pup in the house would be beneficial. I am good with big and little dogs and curious with cats but don’t bother them or chase them. Adult only home please.

I’m neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and current on my heartworm and flea prevention. If you would to adopt me please go to www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application for me!

DOG WEIGHT: 15 lbs

GENDER: Male

HOUSE TRAINED:  Yes

Meet Oscar! This handsome guy is a 2 year old  chihuahua/terrier mix. Oscar weighs 15 pounds.

Oscar came to VIP Rescue from a hoarding situation where 70 plus pups were housed outside in pens and small fenced in areas. Despite the horrible conditions he previously lived in, Oscar is adjusting incredibly well in his foster home and is now seeking a home to call his own.

Since arriving at VIP Rescue, Oscar has absolutely thrived learning the ins and outs of being an indoor dog. For example, we do not think he had ever been on a leash. Oscar now asks to go for walks and is advancing quickly with his leash manners and housebreaking skills. We do not think Oscar ever had the luxury of a bed or a couch. They are now his favorite places to rest. We do not think he had much human interaction in his prior world. He now seeks out affection from his foster. Truth is we do not think Oscar had much in his prior life, and while there is still lots to introduce him to, he has shown he is ready and excited to live life to its fullest!

Oscar can be a little shy when you first meet him, but he warms up quickly. He is affectionate and cuddle time with his foster mom has become a favorite pastime. He is playful and loves toys.

Oscar is great with other small to medium sized friendly dogs. He would do fine in a home as a single dog, or as an addition to a home that already has a dog. If you already have a dog, a meet and greet is required.

Oscar has not been cat or kid tested, therefore, no cats and kids 12+ only please. We will update his profile if we learn otherwise.

Oscar is crate trained and is not an excessive barker. He is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, microchipped and on monthly flea and heartworm preventative.

DOG WEIGHT: 15 lbs

GENDER: Female

HOUSE TRAINED: Yes

COLOR: Brownish/Tan

Hi! My name is Penny, my foster parents tell me I’m a Chiweenie, but I don’t know what that means! I’m just 3 years old and weigh about 15lbs. I love it when they talk to me, pet me, rub my belly, give me treats and take me for what they call ‘walkies’! Walkies and treats are my favorite, I like to dance for them when they say those words, it makes them smile and giggle. I have a foster sister dog, she’s a lot bigger than me but I like napping next to her and playing zoomies sometimes. I don’t really like toys, most of the time I like laying on the couch or sitting in your lap and looking outside! Speaking of outside, I came from a place where I lived outside with so many other dogs and no one loved on me or gave me treats. But now, I’ve learned to be an inside dog which is so much better. I’ve learned about how to go to the door when I need to go potty which is really pretty easy cause I’m pretty smart. I still like some outside time, cause I like to chase little lizards so a fenced in yard would be super cool. Some little people came over the other day with some bigger strangers, I didn’t know them, but my foster mom said they were nice. They were sweet to me and I sure liked them! I’m very happy in my foster home and have come out of my shell (I hope they don’t think I’m a turtle!) but I really would like to have a forever family that I could love, give kisses to and dance for. Could that be you? I’m spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and on heart worm and flea prevention. My bags are packed and I’m really ready to find the very bestest “fur” ever family. Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application for me! Hope to meet you soon! 🐾

original post

Hello all, my name is Penny, I’m a 3 year old 14 lb. chihuahua, maybe dachshund mix gal. I am as bright and shiny as a brand new cent. I am a little shy at first so you will have to be patient with me, but once you earn my trust and I know that you are my person I am stuck like glue to you. I am super sweet and love to snuggle. I was rescued from a hoarding situation and spent all of my life outside…but I am getting real used to the comfy couches, beds, pillows and my foster moms lap. I enjoy my morning walks and doing great on the leash. I am good with my foster sister but not sure about cats yet (haven’t met one yet)
I really don’t require a lot…just love and lots of belly rubs. I’m spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and current on my heartworm and flea prevention. With proper introduction, will consider respectful kids 8+ years. Due to me being shy a secure fenced yard would be best until I get comfortable and understand I can trust. Please go to www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application for me! ?

Buster/Redington Beach

Hi friends! My name is Buster, I’m a 20lb. 2 year old maltipoo searching for just the right home. I’m a cute boy who is lovin’ this Florida life, you see, I’m a true “southern” boy who is polite and knows my manners. I’m currently looking for a single adult only home, I don’t like to share my human, I want them all to myself, and sorry, no kids or cats either, but it’d be ok if you have a playful pup my size at home so I can have a buddy.  I’d also like a Mom or Dad that’s home more often than not, I’m not crazy about being alone for long periods of time. Foster Mom says I’m doing great with all my foster siblings, engaging in play but I also enjoy chilling with you watching TV. I’m neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and current on my heartworm and flea prevention. If you’d like to meet me, please go to www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application.

Otis/Redington Beach

This very sweet shy young man is Otis, a handsome 5 year old terrier mix, and all of 10 lbs. Otis loves to cuddle with his foster mom, napping on the sofa, playing with toys and bossing his foster siblings around! 🤷‍♀️ (we’re working on that)  Otis came to VIP Rescue from a hoarding situation where 70 plus pups were housed outside in pens and small fenced in areas. We are not sure how much human handling he has had and despite the horrible conditions he lived in, is a sweet pup. He likes pets, cuddles and kisses.  He is not sure where the best place to sleep is yet, but does enjoy a dog bed, or on the sofa during the day and has ventured in the human bed a night or two. Otis would benefit from a quieter family environment who’s home more often that not, and to let him know that life as he once knew it is no more, it’s all good from here! ❤️

Otis is neutered,  current on vaccines, micro chipped and on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application for  sweet Otis. ❤️🐾

Nyx/Redington Beach

Available for Adoption!!!

Well hello there friends of VIP Rescue! My name is Nyx, I’m a 2 year old 20 lb doodle/terrier mix boy. I’m a happy active guy who loves leash walks ( early morning is best) and I really love my foster Mom. I’m being a good boy learning the rules of the house especially with potty training, I’m working really hard on that and foster Mom said now that I’m neutered that should really help! I love to play with the other puppers in my foster home, so maybe a home that has an established ,confident,  playful pup about my size would be ok. Please remember I’m an active guy, so I think an active family would suit me best. I prefer my new human family to be home more often than not, I’m ok for just a few hours, but all day would definitely pose a challenge for me. I’ve been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and started on heartworm and flea prevention.

My suitcase is almost packed, hoping my new family comes along soon,  could that be you? (Who wouldn’t want the handsomest boy ever, right? 😉)

Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application for me! 🐾🐾🐾

Peachy/Holiday

How’s it going you ask? Just Peachy!

Peachy is an 8 year old, 10 lb female dachshund mix who came to VIPRescue.org in desperate need of care.
We treated her to a spa day with a fresh shampoo and blow dry, gave her some lovin’ and then headed to the vet to start the process to get her back it tip top shape.

She is ready to meet her furever family. Please do not apply if you have children under 12 years old or dogs over 25 lbs.

Unfortunately, she missed years of veterinary wellness visits and dentals so her mouth was full of infected rotting teeth…just Peachy.

With the help of a great vet and some heavy duty antibiotic to get the infection under control, she was able to keep keep some of her teeth (12 had to be extracted)…..just Peachy.

Now after her makeover, she is living the good life in her foster home. She is the sweetest, cuddly little girl.

You don’t have to look very hard to find her because she loves to be close to her human.

She loves leash walks, belly rubs and her kisses are the best.

Peachy, is spayed, has shiny clean teeth, current with her vaccines and on monthly heartworm/flea prevention.

Looking for a sweet Peachy for your quiet, loving home for Peachy?

If so please submit an application with viprescue.org to welcome this sweet girl in to your heart and home.

Fawn/Redington Beach

****Pupdate on our girl Fawn***** Original post at end of this post****

Fawn, a 10 year old Pug/Frenchie mix gal, was surrendered to us at the

end of July, she was a little potato weighing in at 16.8 lbs at her vet visit on 7-16-22. When she arrived she didn’t want to move much and when she tried to walk she would drag her back legs behind her. So sad…. she absolutely needed to lose some weight especially for her health.

Her foster mom and pup house mates have encouraged her since day one,

slowly starting her walks in the back yard, and after a few days and watching the other pups happily go out for a walk, Fawn decided she wanted to go with the rest of her house mates too! We started with very short distances at first, and gradually increased the distance, and we are happy to say today she is able to go on the full early morning walks (1/2 to 3/4 of mile) and likes to lead the way….We have worked with her and she has worked with us helping her get to a more manageable weight. As of today, she is at 12.4 lbs. and looking and feeling so much better! Just look at those girly hips! She is strutting her stuff, walking around with a HUGE smile on that precious face. She is one happy girl. Although be warned, her Gremlin does come out every once in a while.

She needs to be the one and only in her “fur”ever home. A quieter adult only home with no other pups and no cats. ( In her original post, we thought she’d like a “fur” sibling, but we have learned she prefers to be your one and only) Fawn needs a patient person that will give her plenty of time to adjust to her new surroundings, and she would definitely prefer a home where you’re home more often than not. ( Retirees or a work from home situation would be ideal!) She loves to walk and now even runs sometimes, and loves to scratch her belly in the grass on the walks but sometimes her back legs cannot keep up with the front ones, so we slow down and help her get them under her and off she goes again with that big ol’ smile of hers! She now can use the doggie steps to get on the couch and the human bed. Fawn loves to burrow under the covers and snore the night away. Fawn loves toys, and collects the little stuffies and proudly struts around showing them off.

Fawn does love food!!! aaannndd who doesn’t? She uses a puzzle bowl,

which she learned very quickly, she doesn’t know this or even care, it slows down her food consumption for a healthier intake and digestion. To maintain her girly figure and a healthy weight, she will need to have her food intake monitored, don’t let those loving eyes sway you into giving her more food. She will ask for more anytime you are in the kitchen. Ha!

Fawn has not mastered house manners, she’s trying, and sometimes get

the peepad, and sometimes not. If you take her out frequently, it helps.

See the photos of the before and after. Love, love, love this

girl!!!! She is going to bring so much joy into someones heart and home, maybe that’s yours? Please visit www.viprescue.org for an adoption application for this amazing girl!

Hello, my name is Fawn, and I’m a 10-year-old female chunky Frug.

What’s a Frug you ask? A Frenchie Pug!

They call me Fawn because of my light, yellowish brown hair.

My human passed away and I was separated from my furry siblings and the only home I knew.

After being passed around for several days, I landed in a safe haven with VIP Rescue.

As you can see by the pictures, I’m a doe-eyed sweetheart who needs to lose 4-5 lbs (current weight 15lbs) which will require an accountability partner to keep me on a diet and exercise program, like walking during the cooler hours.

Don’t fall for my big eyes pleading with you to give me just a little more food or another treat or 5. My health and longevity depends on it!

I’m busy learning so many things with my foster – what a collar, harness and leash are, leash walking, and house manners. I’m great with a pee-pad.

Once I get a chance to know you, I love to snuggle – especially at night. If you have a dog as a potential siblings a meet and meet with this dog will be required, I am particular as who I like to hang out with. I would do best in an adult home, would consider respectful young adult’s over the age of 12. I would like to request that my human is home more often than not, I would not do well left on my own all day.

I’m spayed, fresh dental (several extractions), current with my vaccines and on monthly heartworm and flea prevention.

If you would like to snuggle with me and big brown eyes, and have room in your heart and home, please submit an application with VIPRescue.org.

****Update**** See original post below…

Hey there my fabulous friends! It’s me, Fergie! I’m a 1 year old 13 lb.cutie patootie searching real hard for my forever family!

You see, I’ve been with VIP Rescue for a little a little bit now, learning about all the fabulous things life has to offer a pupper like me! Before I was rescued by VIP, I didn’t get a lot of attention so I’m still learning to be a pup. I am a total homebody who likes to sleep in, and just chill at home. I’m still a bit of a scaredy cat (um, dog really lol) so I really need a quiet adult only home who will give me the time and attention I need to feel safe and secure. Loud noises still scare me, but my foster Mommy is working real hard with me on that. Being outdoors when it’s loud makes me scared, so I need a secured fenced yard so I can get my jam on running around and do my business. I’ll get there, it’s just gonna take some time. I love to play with my furry foster siblings, doesn’t matter to me if they are dogs or cats, I get along with them all! In fact, I’d love to be in a home with another dog for company and playtime.

I am a good, quiet pup, as well as potty and crate trained. I’m up to date with vaccines, spayed and on monthly heartworm / flea prevention. If you’re looking for a sweet, fun little girl who could use your love and attention to help me learn to be the best version of my dog self, please visit www.viprescue.org for an adoption application, and don’t forget to tell em’ you’re looking for Fergie! That’s MEEEEEE!

Licks and tons of tail wags,
Your friend, Fergie

original post

Hi, I’m Fergie, an 8 month old girl weighing in at 12 lbs. Look into my gorgeous black eyes and you can see that I’m just the sweetest little girl who wants to sit on your lap!

I love to play with my furry foster siblings, doesn’t matter to me if they are dogs or cats. I get along with them all and would do best with another furry sibling in the home.

Before I was rescued by VIP, I didn’t get a lot of attention or training so now I’m making up for lost time – working hard on my house training and leash walking.

The love of the leash by my furry friends is still a mystery to me – I get really excited at first to get outside but then just want to go home and run around in the back yard.  I’d love an active family who likes to walk (apparently it’s good for me) but I need a secured fenced yard so I can get my jam on running around and to practice my leash walking. I’m up to date with vaccines, spayed and on monthly heartworm / flea prevention.

If you’re looking for a sweet, fun little girl who could use your love and attention to help learn to be the best version of my dog self, please apply for me at VIPrescue.org

Don’t forget to tell them you’re looking for Fergie!

Toto/Seminole

When following the yellow brick road:  the Scarecrow was looking for a brain, the Lion was in search of courage, the Tinman was hoping to find a heart and Toto of VIP is in need of a human.  Our sweet little man is a gentle soul who is potty trained, leash trained and gets along well with his foster siblings (the canine type) and humans alike.

Toto is an eight year old Carin Terrier mix, weighing in at 19 pounds.  He enjoys naps on soft pillows and will snuggle with his human every chance he gets.  If you are looking for a sweet loving dog to fill your heart and one who makes his human the most important part of his day, please fill out our application today.

He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and started on flea and heartworm prevention, please go to www.viprescue.org and fill out an adoption application. Hope to meet you very soon!

Mama/Redington Beach –

Hello everyone, my name is Mama, I’m a 6 year old 7lb. Chiweenie mix gal. I arrived at VIP Rescue a couple of weeks ago, and boy, am I enjoying life! You see, me and my friends were considered “breeder” dogs in our former life, but, no more! I’m a great girl who can be a little shy at first, but once I feel safe, I’ll warm right up to you. I’d really prefer to be your one and only, I’m maybe a little selfish because I want you all to myself! I’ve never had a real family before, and am really looking forward to it. I absolutely love taking my early morning walks before it gets too hot out with foster Mom and my foster siblings. I’m crate and potty trained, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and started on flea and heartworm prevention. Foster Mom says that’s very important for all doggies to have! So, there ya have it, maybe I sound like the girl for you? If so, please go to www.viprescue.org and fill out an adoption application and foster Mom will be in touch! Have a great day and I hope to meet you very soon!

Sweetness/Seminole

Available for Adoption

viprescue.org

Sweetness is my name, playing is my game.

I’m looking for my furever home that has another dog under 20lbs that likes to play.

If you own your own home, have a small playful dog, and no children under 12, please go to viprescue.org and put in an application!

I’m a 14-week old male puppy that weigh just under 6lbs and has a tail that never stops wagging!

I’m thought to be a Scotty/Yorkie mix with an estimated adult weight of 10-20lbs.

I’m a little bundle of sweet energy who loves to play with my foster brother and sister pups who aren’t that much bigger than me. My foster mom calls me her little Hershey kiss!

I’ve started taking short walks on a harness and leash and doing a good job.

I’m also working on my potty training. I’m pretty reliable as long as I get a potty break every 1-2 hours.

I like to sleep in my crate at bedtime, otherwise, I love to be in the mix with my foster people and pups.

I love soft toys, nylabones, and relaxing in a little donut-ring bed during the day.

Andy/Indian Rocks Beach

We’d like you to meet sweet lil’ Andy! He’s a tiny 5 lb., 7 year young Chihuahua boy who recently arrived at VIP Rescue. He’s absolutely adorable, affectionate, loves his toys and is so very curious too! Andy gets along well with the others in his foster home, as long as they respect his space. He would do fine with another older dog, and if there are kids in the home, they should be older, at least 13+ due to his tiny size or an adult only home would be fine as well.  Andy is working on his housebreaking, and does use his potty pads consistently as well.

This precious little boy also came to us Heartworm positive, but please don’t let that stop you from adopting him. VIP Rescue covers ALL costs associated with his treatment, and a member of our team will go over all the protocols of a heartworm positive doggie with you. His new family needs to be within an hour of the Indian Rocks Beach, Fl area to bring him to his time sensitive Veterinary appointments for treatment. As if this wasn’t enough, Andy had a small tumor on his “private parts” that was successfully removed, but now and then his little “peek a boo” comes out and may stay out for a while. We won’t go into detail here, he is fine though, and his foster Mom will discuss all of this with the approved applicant. Andy is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and current on his heartworm and flea prevention So, there you have it! Want to meet this precious little boy? Please go to www.viprescue. org to fill out an adoption application. Andy can’t wait to meet you! 🐾❤️

Dax/Indian Rocks Beach

Available for Adoption

VIPRescue.org

Dax is a 9 month old, 15lb male chiweenie, with maybe a mix of mini pin (?). He has long legs and is fit, energetic, social and ready to go with you on adventures. Lots of personality and plenty of affection await you if Dax is your match. He would make a great side kick for someone looking for some fun and entertainment in their life. He would not do well in a home with a sedentary lifestyle.

Dax is housebroken and walks excellent on a leash. He loves long walks, weather permitting, and would make a fantastic walking fitness buddy. He needs space to run and get exercise. A single family home with a 6′ ft fenced yard is required.

Dax gets along excellent with other dogs. If you have a dog currently in your home, a meet and greet will be required. He would love a canine sibling, but would also thrive as an only dog so long as you are willing to be his best friend and adventure buddy.

Dax also loves kids, 8 and older only though please, due to his energy. Dax would not likely do well with cats. He is crate trained.

Dax is neutered, microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations and current on flea/heartworm prevention.

Interested in welcoming Dax into your home? Apply now at VIPRescue.org

Hurley/Redington Beach

VIP Rescue would like to welcome Hurley! He’s a 1 year old 19lb mix of Dachshund, maybe some Corgi, maybe some Basset Hound? He’s definitely a low rider and cute as a button! Hurley is a fun loving goofy fella, very playful and quite the cuddle boy. He gets along well with other doggies, and would definitely benefit from an active family to entertain him! Hurley is crate trained and learning his house manners, and could stand to put on a few pounds ( not too many!) as he is currently on the lean side. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and on his monthly heartworm/flea prevention. Do you think you have room in your heart and your home for this “paw” some guy? Please go to www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. Hurley’s bags are packed and he’s waiting patiently for his “fur” ever family to come along! 🐾❤️

Fernando/Redington Beach

Available for Adoption
VIPRescue.org

Fernando is a one of kind pup just like the famous ABBA song that he was named after!

He’s a snuggly 2 year old, 15lb male shitz shu/terrier mix who is always smiling….okay, he may have an underbite 😊

He loves to sit on your lap, run around outside and enjoys playing with other dogs at least his size or bigger. Fernando needs an experienced dog owner.

He’s housebroken and walks excellent on a leash. He loves long walks, weather permitting, and would make a fantastic walking fitness buddy.

Fernando loves to sleep in your bed or he will sleep in his crate. He wants to be wherever you are!

If you have a dog currently in your home, a meet and greet will be required. He would love a canine sibling but would also thrive as an only dog so long as you are willing to be his playmate.

Fernando would be better with kids 12 years and older due to his playfulness.

Fernando is neutered, microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations and current on flea/heartworm prevention.
Interested in welcoming Fernando into your home? Apply now at VIPRescue.org

Trina/St Petersberg

Meet Trina/St Petersberg

Trina is a 3-year-old, 9-pound Chiweenie mix.  She’s a little shy at first, but really comes out of her shell once she’s comfortable.  Trina is potty trained, crate trained, and good on a leash.  She’s a perfect little girl and will make a great companion! We’ve promised Trina a new home with other doggy friends because having other pups around helps her feel confident and happy.  Trina enjoys playing with toys, snuggling under blankies, and giving kisses to her favorite people. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/heartworm prevention. To welcome Trina into your human and fur family please submit an application.

Pippi Long Legs/ St Petersberg

Pippi Long Legs /St Petersburg Available for adoption!! VIPRescue.org Hi! I’m Pippy-Long-Legs and I can’t wait to meet you! I LOOOOOVE people! My foster mommy calls me a Velcro dog because I love to follow her around and lounge beside her with my head in her lap. I want to be your constant pal! I’m good on a leash, love to greet everyone on a walk, ride nicely in the car, and will be happy to go everywhere with you! I’m potty trained and I love to play with toys and with my furry foster sisters! I have lots of energy so I want to join an active home that will keep me entertained. I would love another pup in the home to play with and a fenced-in yard would be great! I don’t love being in a crate – I’m hoping you’ll let me sleep in bed with you because I love snuggling and being right beside you! I’m basically the perfect dog! I’m 3 years old, Jack Russel/Rat Terrier mix and currently about 10 pounds – and I’m working on getting back to a better weight since I’ve been rescued from a rough spot of life where I was really hungry. (I REALLY like food and treats) I am spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/heartworm prevention. Please submit an application with viprescue.org to welcome me into your home, lap and family.

Standard Poodle Puppies / Available for Adoption!! Located in: Port Orange/

Did you say you want a puppy? Well, you’ve come to the right place! Puppies are so adorable. If you  are ready for a bouncy, high energy puppy, one of these sweet pups might be right for you!!!! They are ready to begin their journey with a family of their very own. They are working on tinkle pad training and then will graduate to potty training and then on to leash training. Puppies are tons of fun but do require ALOT of work and training on your family’s part to be the best pup they can be! They need love, attention and lots of consistency especially for housebreaking! Their little bladders can’t hold it all day so please make sure you can commit to the puppy not being left along longer than 4 hours during the day. If that’s not possible, please consider one of our adult dogs which might be better suited for your lifestyle!

We now have Standard Poodle puppies available for adoption! Please read the information below carefully before submitting an application.

****Standard Poodles require monthly grooming, and frequent brushing, and these puppies are no exception. Early grooming of your dog will create good future habits. Standard Poodles are high energy, have a high prey drive, and require a grassy yard to exercise in that is fenced on all 4 sides with a 6-foot fence. They also need to be leash walked several times daily to stimulate their minds and to properly socialize them.  A home visit by VIP Rescue is a pre-requisite in the adoption process of these pups. Obedience training for the puppy is also highly recommended for this extremely intelligent breed of dog, and a high quality food is essential for their growth and development. VIP Rescue reserves the right to approve or disapprove adoption applications submitted based on each dogs specific needs. If your adoption application is approved, you will be required to travel to the dogs foster home to meet the dog. Mama dog is 45lbs and Baby Daddy is 58lbs. These pups were born on April 30th, 2022, which makes them just 8 weeks old. We have 4 males, and 4 females available. Please note on your application if you prefer a male or female, but please understand it is not a guarantee as we expect many many applications on these pups. Any incomplete application will NOT be processed. You should also call your Veterinarian’s office and give your permission for us to speak with them to gather the necessary information we need to process any applications. Our Volunteers will be in touch with those that meet the criteria for these puppies. Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application and to also see the many other wonderful pets in our Rescue waiting for their “fur”ever home.🐾

LUCY / Myakka City

Oh Lucy Lucy Lucy, how we love you so, you rambunctious, funny, high energy,  sweet and loving girl!

My name is Lucy, I’m a 3 year old 66 lb. Labradoodle, with the most gorgeous Chocolate brown coat you’ll ever see! Sit back and relax while I tell you a bit about myself.

What my friends at VIP said  up above, yup, I’m a handful of a girl! I’ve really had no training in my previous place, but foster Mom is working on that with me. You see, I didn’t have a comfy bed, or a couch to cuddle up on, but now? Wow, I LOVE this thing they call the “human“ bed that I think is my own!🤣 Mom calls my name and I come running  barreling through the house trying to get to her.(She might have treats or yummy food for me you know) Anyway, yeah, I’m a handful, but also sweet as sugar. I love these 2 legged creatures they call “humans” and I love both big and small doggies. Also, older kids would be better because of all my energy!

I’ll need regular grooming, so keep that in mind (and your budget)  if you’d like to adopt me. I’ll definitely need a secured fenced in grassy backyard and regular walks, and a family that can seriously devote time for me as I’m not the type to be left alone for long periods of time. You could say I’m a “family” girl!  I am housebroken, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and started on heart worm and flea prevention. Got a couch or a bed ready for me? I’ll be right here by foster Moms side waiting for you!

Love and many tail wags, your friend, Lucy ❤️🐾

Max/Redington Beach

Hi there, my name is Max. I’m a 1 year old Chorkie boy who weighs a mere 11lbs. I’ve got the most gorgeous blonde curls for a coat, some people would pay a fortune to get this color, ha! foster Mom says I could be a cover model! Silly foster Mommy 😁. Anywho, I’m a really sweet boy who loves to follow my human around and cuddle when they stop moving. I also love to sleep with foster Mommy, her bed is SO comfy! I like my early morning leash walks and I’m rapidly improving on my house manners. I’d be good as your one and only or maybe with a submissive pup if you have a pupper already at home. Don’t forget, I’ll need regular grooming to keep me looking my very best. I’m already neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and started on heartworm and flea prevention. My bags are packed, I’m ready to gooooooooo!. Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. Hope to meet you soon! 🐾

Bentley/Redington Beach

Are you looking for an adorable almost 4 year old 19lb scruffy terrier boy? HEY!!!! That’s MEEEEEEEE! My name is Bentley, and guess what? My birthday is real soon (July 11th!) and I’d really love to be in my furever home by then so we can celebrate my birthday together, maybe my new “paw”rents can even throw me a “paw”ty? Wow, that’d be terrific!

I love leash walks, car rides and most of all…..cuddling….yup, my fave! I’m not a fan of being left alone for long periods of time, so if you work from home or are retired, that’d be swell. I don’t like my crate, but I do settle down after a few minutes and play with a toy or take a nap. I came from a home where I was their one and only, so in my foster home I make my way to the front of the line for everything! I think I’d be ok with a submissive doggie friend if you have one. We’d have to meet first, just to make sure we’ll be the bestest friends! Oh, and don’t forget, I’ll need regular grooming to keep me being the handsomest boy ever.

I’ve been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and started on heartworm and flea prevention. So how about it, am I the boy for you? Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application for me. HURRY…let’s get this “paw”ty started! 🐾❤️🎁🎉

Silvy/St Petersburg

Hello there everyone!

Are you looking for the complete package? The perfect “fur”ever friend? Then you need to look no further. I’m Silvy a 3 year old 16lb Jack Russell Terrier Mix. Not only am I so pretty,  I’m an easy going and friendly pup who likes to do Zoomies in the yard, go for long walks in the park, and get lots of cuddles. I will even do a little dance at meal time. ( yeah, I’m that cute!) I get along with other doggies, so if you have one at home already, we’ll need to meet first to make sure all is good! I’d like a family who has a fenced in backyard for us to play in, that’d be really cool. As I said, I really like those “zoomies!”  I’m already potty trained, crate trained, and I sleep through the night. Yup, perfection I tell ya! I’m spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and current on my heartworm and flea prevention. I’m ready to GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Ha! Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application! Hope to see you soon!

Abbey/Holiday

We’d like you to meet one of the many newest additions to VIP Rescue. Abbey is a 13 year young tiny 8 lbs. Chihuahua mix gal. She’s not quite sure of all the goings on in her little life right now, so she’s a bit shy and maybe even a little “standoffish”. She is a sweet as they come once she feels comfortable and trusts you. Quick moves, or if you pick her up too quick, make her very nervous. But….once she feels safe with you, it’s all good and she’ll follow you around and even cuddle with you like she’s known you all her life. She does great on her early morning leash walks, (she really enjoys that) and has been comfy sleeping in a dog bed next to her foster parents bed, or snuggled in a “bankie” in a chair. She will need doggie stairs to reach that favorite chair or couch since she’s so tiny. Abbey gets along well with other doggies, but due to her size and her shyness, she’ll need a quiet adult only home to chill in and enjoy her golden years. Sweet lil’ Abbey is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and is on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application for this little princess!

Nenzo/Seminole

Available for Adoption!!

Introducing Nenzo! Just like the meaning of his name, he has an electric personality, is gentle and cooperative, and very playful. Nenzo is a super handsome 13-month old boy who weighs about 70 lbs. He is housebroken and crate trained. He’s a Black Lab Mix who loves all people and is great with children. He loves to play with other dogs and go to dog parks. Nenzo is smart, has had basic obedience training, and is a good-spirited boy. Nenzo would benefit from an active family, as he loves to play play play! He’d be best in a single family home with a secure fenced in backyard for playtime. If you’re that active family without kids or with kids (he does well with kids, we suggest 8+ due to activity level) he just might be the guy for you! He’s completely vetted to include neuter, vaccinations, microchip and on heartworm and flea prevention. His bags are packed and he’s ready to go home!

Please fill out an adoption application at www.viprescue.org  Nenzo can’t wait to meet his new family!

Penelope/Seminole

Hello Florida friends! My name is Penelope,(cute, huh?) I’m a 20lb. 7 month old sweetheart of a pup who absolutely loves all dogs, people and kids! When you call my name, I come running, lay on my back and wait for those pawsome belly rubs to begin! Oh my, how I love my belly rubs!
My family had a DNA test done on me, and guess what it said? I’m 50% Boston Terrier, 25% Australian Cattle dog and 12.5 Basset Hound ! Holy cow, some mix, huh? But I tell you what, you aren’t gonna find anything sweeter than lil ole’ me! 🤭 I’ll be honest, I’m a really really high energy girl who needs an active family with a 6ft secured fenced in backyard so we can play play play! I’m still kinda young and I’m really trying to get the hang of this “potty training” thing, I bet if you work with me and take me outside for frequent potty breaks and maybe even reward me with treats when I do, I’ll get it down pat. (I promise I will, you just need to be patient with me) I’m still a growing girl, and will get a bit bigger, maybe 30-40lbs. ish? Please take that into consideration as well.
I’ve been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and I’m on heart worm and flea prevention. I’m really ready to find my “fur” ever family, I sure hope they’re out there looking for a great pup like me. Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. Hope to meet you soon, Licks and wags, Penelope 🐾❤️

Zoey/Redington Beach

We’d like to introduce “Miss” Zoey! She’s a fabulous 4 year old 44 lb. Standard Poodle. Zoey is a very sweet, affectionate, loyal companion gal who knows her basic commands, enjoys walks and loves going “bye bye” car! She gets along well with other dogs, and does best playing with dogs similar in size. She has never been cat tested, and being she does better with dogs similar to her size, we recommend no felines in the home. She learns routines quickly, and being the good girl that she is, gets to roam free throughout the house. Due to Zoeys high energy level, a home with a secure 6ft. fence is required. Please keep in mind that Zoey will require regular grooming appointments because, you know, we girls always like to look our best! 😉If you have another pup in the home, that’s great, but Zoey would like to meet them first to make sure they’ll be the “bestest” friends! Zoey is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines and on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. If you’re interested in this amazing girl, please fill out an adoption application at www.viprescue.orgZoey wanted everyone to know her bags are packed and she’s patiently waiting for her new “fur” ever family! 🐾❤️

Thor and Loki – Redington BEach

Thor and Loki were welcomed into VIP Rescue this past week after their owner passed away and their caregiver could no longer care for them. They are bonded brothers and cannot be separated.

They are both seven years young, and we’re told they are peekpoos, but we’re thinking maybe shih~poo? It doesn’t really matter, because they are both adorable! They will definitely need to be groomed on a regular basis, so please remember this if you’re submitting an application. They are working on their house manners and making rapid progress. They are tinkle pad trained and a delight on a leash. They do get along with other pups, but we believe they would thrive as the only pups in their furever home.  They need a home without cats.

Thor (white pup) is on the “chunky” side being 29 pounds.  He Is a little love bug, and we’re convinced his incredibly beautiful sweet begging eyes have led him to being over fed! He’s currently on a reduced fat diet and will need to continue on this until he gets down to a healthier weight.

Loki(brown pup) weighs in at 19 pounds, and could stand to lose an extra couple pounds as well. But, with all this being said, it’s just more dog to love, right? 😉 Both boys are crate trained for sleeping at night, and will also hang out in their crate with the door open during the day to relax. If permitted, they may even choose to sleep with you as they also enjoy sleeping on a soft chair or couch.

Where you find one you will find the other close by if not right next to each other. They are the true meaning of “bonded”.

Loki and Thor are neutered, up-to-date with their vaccines, micro chipped and on monthly heartworm and flea prevention.

If you would like to welcome this snuggly team of two into your heart and home, please submit an application to viprescue.org. Loki and Thor can’t wait to meet their new “fur” ever family real soon! 🐾❤️

Moose/St Petersburg

Hi!!! I’m Moose. If you need a handsome wingman, look no further.  With my rockstar hair, heartthrob smile, and celebrity-sized personality you can’t go wrong with me!  I’m an outgoing, affectionate, super-smart, awesome dude who will make you smile til your face hurts.

Weighing in at 10 pounds and one-year-old, I am great on a leash and super friendly with humans and other dogs! I have tons of energy, love playing ball and going on walks, and will be able to keep up with you and all your activities!
Since I did start my life on the wrong side of the tracks, I will need your patience and help to teach me the rules about the finer things in life (like potty training and crate training) and refining my house manners.

I’m neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines and monthly preventatives. So what are you waiting for??  Let’s go hit the town!!  Please submit an application with VIPRescue.org.

CHARLIE / Tavares, FL

ADOPT  CHARLIE

TAVARES, FLORIDA

Meet CHARLIE! He is an affectionate male cream-colored Standard Poodle, and is estimated to be 2-3 years old.  VIP RESCUE adopts to Florida Residents only.  Charlie requires a 6-foot fenced grassy yard to exercise and play, no exceptions.  Charlie and other pets were found locked in pens outdoors with no access to food or water after their owner was found deceased.  Charlie came to VIP Rescue weighing in at 39.8 pounds. We estimate his weight should be about 45-50, and he is gaining every day.  He eats Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream Grain Free food due to food sensitivities. Charlie likes other dogs however his play can be over the top for some dogs.  He is learning to play appropriately and takes correction from other dogs well.  He does best with dogs that are not submissive, and not afraid to put him in his place or a home with no other dogs.  Charlie is very active, and very playful – still very much a puppy and is crate-trained for those times when you need to leave or when you cannot watch him.  He is leash trained, and knows sit and usually comes when called, however, we highly recommend a basic obedience class for his new owner to get the upper hand and set boundaries.  Charlie likes to be chased by dogs and kids, plays fetch, but has not mastered bringing back the item.  Charlie rides well in the car.  We recommend children be at least 8 years old in his new home to handle his energy.  He is housetrained.   He would love to nuzzle up with you on your sofa, or on your lap if you prefer. He is timid when meeting new people, and will come to you on his terms after you are seated. He is good on the groom table and needs monthly grooming and frequent baths. When Charlie came into VIP Rescue, he was severely matted and was shaved down as a result.

Charlie is recently neutered, up to date on all vaccines, heartworm negative, had a dental, and is  microchipped.  He had “happy tail” and his tail was recently docked due to medical necessity.  He will be available for adoption around June 28th when he gets his stitches removed.  Charlie would do well in an active home setting with a parent at home, with lots of energy to play with him, inside and out, and long walks. He is not a good dog for seniors due to his high activity level and estimated age of 2.  Charlie is fostered in Tavares, Florida.  To adopt Charlie, you must come to meet him at his foster home, and bring your dog(s) to make sure it is a match.

If you meet the qualifications for Charlie, please complete an adoption application at VIP Rescue to be considered. www.viprescue.org A home-visit is a pre-requisite in the adoption process at VIP RESCUE.  Charlie’s adoption donation is $400 and obedience training with a professional is a must and a large crate! VIP Rescue reserves the right to approve or disapprove adoption applications submitted based on the dogs specific needs, the age, and the health of the dogs we are adopting.

VIP RESCUE thanks all those who donated to our fundraiser for Charlie and the other 6 dogs that we took in on emergency basis from the shelter. We are grateful for your continued support. They are all doing well at this time, and will be listed when they become available for adoption.

Available for Adoption

WE DO NOT ADOPT OUT OF STATE

These 2 precious Shih Tzu girls have quite a sad story that we’re going to share with you. They both were “breeder” dogs and sadly their human could no longer properly care for them for the past several months. Kenna and Krystal along with 5 other dogs were found locked in pens with no access to food or water after their owner was found deceased. The girls were in horrible condition and obviously very hungry.

Keena is a blonde/grey and tan 11 lb 7 year old gal, while Krystal is white/blonde and tan 10lb. 5 year old girl.
When the girls went to the Vet, it was discovered that Keena had “pyometra”, (an infected uterus) and had surgery immediately to remove the infected uterus. She was doing good, and then, a few days later, developed a secondary infection which required a 2nd surgery to put a drain in! More antibiotics were started and she’s now feeling much better ❤️.

Krystal is a really sweet girl who has lost an eye due to glaucoma a few years ago. She does have some depth issues and occasionally bumps into things and does need help with stairs, but when she gets the “lay of the land” she does well. Both girls are doing well with house training as long as they get out enough and are crate trained as well. Please understand they are “ bonded “ and will need to be adopted together to an adult only home and with someone who is home more often than not. Sorry, there will be no exceptions.

The girls have been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, had dentals and have been started on heart worm and flea prevention. They currently eat Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream grain free food due to food sensitivities. If you have room in your heart AND home for both of these girls, please go to www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. They hope to hear from you soon!🐾❤️

LEGEND / Tavares, FL

ADOPT PENDING for LEGEND

TAVARES, FLORIDA

www.viprescue.org

Meet Legend!  He is an affectionate male cream colored Standard Poodle, and was a former Therapy Dog.  Legend was born 1/15/2020.  VIP RESCUE adopts to Florida Residents only.  Legend requires a 6-foot fenced grassy yard to exercise and play, no exceptions.   Legend and other pets were found locked in pens outdoors with no access to food or water after their owner was found deceased.  Legend came to VIP Rescue weighing in at 39.8 pounds.  His past medical records show his weight should be 55.  At present he is gaining weight, has a good appetite, and weighs in at 47.  He eats Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream Grain Free food due to food sensitivities.  Legend is good with other dogs of his own size, he is very active, and very playful.  He is leash trained, crate-trained, and knows sit and usually comes when called.  He likes to be chased by dogs and kids, plays fetch, but has not mastered bringing back the item.  He has been great with respectful children of all ages.  He is housetrained at his fosters home, but that means taking him out immediately in the morning, and immediately after being crated.  He needs structure with his house training at a new home.   He would love to nuzzle up with you on your sofa, or on your lap if you prefer.  He is timid when meeting new people, and will come to you on his terms after you are seated.   He is good on the groom table and needs monthly grooming and frequent baths.  When Legend came into VIP Rescue, he was severely matted and was shaved down as a result.

Legend is recently neutered, up to date on all vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped.  He is scheduled for a dental June 15, and will be available for adoption immediately after.   Legend would do well in a younger active home setting with a parent at home, with lots of energy to play with him, inside and out, and long walks.   He is not a good dog for seniors due to his high activity level and age of 2.  Legend is fostered in Tavares, Florida.  To adopt Legend, you must come to meet him at his foster home, and bring your dog(s) to make sure it is a match.

If you meet the qualifications for Legend, please complete an adoption application at VIP Rescue to be considered.  www.viprescue.org   A home-visit is a pre-requisite in the adoption process at VIP RESCUE.  Legends adoption donation is $500.

VIP RESCUE thanks all those who donated to our fundraiser for Legend and the other 6  dogs that we took in on emergency basis from the shelter.   We are grateful for your continued support.  They are all doing well at this time, and will be listed when they become available for adoption.

Cindy/Holiday

Hi everyone, I’m Cindy. I’m chilling out here in Holiday, Fl and enjoying the good life, I’m originally from Louisiana and I most definitely have that laid back Louisiana personality, easy going and loving. I get along well with all the other dogs in my foster home, and just adore my foster “paw”rents. They take me for walks and give me tons of attention (which I LOVE!) and let me lay around wherever I want. I gotta tell you, it’s a dog’s life for sure, there’s nothing better! This Florida gig is pretty swell!

I’m 5 years old, weigh about 25 pounds, and am a white and cream color. I’m really quite pretty if I don’t say so myself!? I’ve been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and started on flea and heartworm prevention, my foster “paw”rents say that’s so important!

I’d love to meet you, and I’m sure once you meet me you will fall straight up in love with me. Please fill out an application at www.viprescue.org
I sure hope my “fur”ever family comes along real soon! ???

Tinkerbell/Redington Beach

**We do not ship our pets. In state adoptions only**

Did someone say they wanted a puppy? Lookie here! We’d like you to meet Tinker. This little sweetie was born on 1/11/2022. We’ve been told Mommy was a shih tzu, and Daddy was a chihuahua. Our best guess if that’s correct is that they should be around 20lbs. full grown but again, that’s only a guess at this point! Now that you have found that perfect little darling, we want to make sure you’re ready for that bouncy, high energy shoe eating little pupper!

Puppies are tons of fun but do require ALOT of work and training on your family’s part so that they will be the best pup they can be. They need love, attention and lots of consistency especially for housebreaking! Their little bladders can’t hold it all day while you’re at work, so you’ll definitely need someone home more often than not. (Pups this young need to be fed 3x a day until they get older)  If that’s not possible, please consider one of our adult dogs which might be better suited for your lifestyle! She is spayed, has age appropriate vaccines, is microchipped and started on heartworm and flea prevention. Although she is too young to be tested for heartworm, we always start our pups on prevention at this age. It’s so important! If you feel you’ve got the time and commitment for these pups, please visit www.viprescue.org and fill out an adoption application. Please understand, we do expect a lot of interest for them, therefore, incomplete applications will not be considered.

Milo/Redington Beach

Through no fault of his own, Milo is back in the loving, caring hands of our director and foster.  Unfortunately the previous adopters life became overwhelming and could no longer care for Milo in the lifestyle he deserves.  Do to excessive matting he was shaved down, we did our best to keep as much of his beautiful coat as we could.  We have included photos of him with his hair grown out a bit.  It won’t take long for him to be the handsomest guy around.
Here is a little bit about this sweet guy!!!

Howdy Rescue world!!! I’m Milo, a Shih Tzu mix, who’s thought to be about 11-12 years old, a senior, and all of 11 lbs.  I am in search of a quiet, laid back, loving adult home to spend my golden years in, I don’t require much, a roof over my head, a human or two that will pamper me with good food, some gentle cuddles and help me get outside to do my business.  I am working on my house manners, If you take me out frequently, I do my business outside.  I do have cataracts and have lost some of my vision, but my nose works real good especially when there’s food involved, I’m right there!

I LOVE the outdoors, if my new home would have a grassy space, I will wonder around for a good bit of time and lay in the shade to enjoy the Florida sunshine…  As for walks, I love to ride around with my foster mom as she walks the other pups in the house,  She has this cool thing called a “sling”, I get to hang out and get carried around, I also love leash walks I just go a little slow.  My nose works overtime on these fresh outdoor walks.   Do you think I might be the guy for you? I sure hope so! I am neutered, current on my vaccines, had a recent dental, microchipped and on heartworm and flea prevention too. Please submit your adoption application to www.viprescue.org. I hope to meet my new “fur” ever family real soon! Love and tail wags, your friend, Milo.

Bonnie and Clyde- BONDED

Redington Beach – Available for adoption

VIP rescue received a plea very late one evening recently for these two itty bitty chihuahua mixes. Sadly, they were set to be euthanized the next day in a rural shelter in the south simply because there was no space left for anymore dogs. This is NOT the shelters fault, it is a worldwide overpopulation problem, plain and simple. Ok, now let’s talk about these sweeties. Our amazing Director ( and also their foster Mom) met the overnight transport and brought these babes to safety with VIP Rescue. We have named them Bonnie and Clyde, Bonnie is 2 years old (black and white) and Clyde is 3 years old (mostly white – with a little heart shaped black mark on his back) and are both just 7lbs of total sweetness! We have found them to be TOTALLY bonded, and MUST be adopted together, sorry, absolutely no exceptions. They do everything together, eat, sleep, give kisses, play and ask nicely for attention, except walk on a leash together! Clyde is good on the leash and Bonnie, well, she is having none of it! She screams and barrel rolls🤣🤣. She should come around eventually, we’ll maybe, hopefully 😉, she just needs time, patience and encouragement. They both love attention and are happy to sit in your lap for hours, but are also content to cuddle up together in their doggie bed too. They get along great with the other pups in their foster home, but have not been cat or kid tested. Older, respectful children would most likely be ok. We do recommend a secure fenced in yard/area for them due to their size and the fact that Bonnie is not ready to go for walks just yet. They are both spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and started on heartworm and flea prevention. So, what do you think? Do you have room in your heart and your home for a total of 14lbs of adorableness? 😄 Please remember, they MUST be adopted together, and we only do IN STATE ADOPTIONS. Please submit your application to www.viprescue.org for consideration! 🐾❤️

Stella/Redington Beach

We’d like you to meet sweet little Stella. She’s thought to be a Chi/RatTerrier and maybe a hint of Pomeranian mix, but what we do know is this little 3 year old 15lb gal has a lot of love to give. Stella came to VIP Rescue with her 5 little boys (currently interviewing for their own homes!)She had a real tough start in life coming from a cruelty case and barely no socialization skills at all. In fact, it took quite a while for her to even let her foster Mom near her or her babies. With ALOT of patience and love, after just a few days she allowed foster Mom to handle the babies! Yeah! Next, was to gain the trust of foster Mom, and again, with ALOT of love, foster Mom started hand feeding her and it didn’t take long for Stella to realize that not all humans are bad, and this gig might be a good one! In no time at all, Stella starting acting like a real dog should, enjoying pets, belly rubs, toys, and totally accepting of love from her “Mom”. She was introduced to the other foster siblings and gets along great with them. She totally enjoys her early morning leash walks and is really enjoying her new life. Due to her past, Stella feels the need to “protect” her human and prefers to be in a single adult only female home. Another dog would be ok, but no children or cats in the home. ( sorry, no exceptions) Stella would really do best with someone who is retired or works from home, and has the time and experience to spend with her, to make her feel safe, comfortable and loved in her new home. If you have any questions for her foster Mom, feel free to email info@viprescue.orgStella has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, a fresh dental and started on flea and heart worm prevention. To apply for this great gal, visit www.viprescue.org

Bri/Redington Beach

Hi! My name is Bri and I’m just the sweetest little girl. I’m a little on the skittish side, but once I check you out I’m good with you and you’ll have a friend by your side all the time. I’m 2 years old and 18 pounds. I get along great with foster pups, but not my kitty family so I need a home with no cats. I’d be ok with having an older human sibling, but because of my skittishness I think loud little kids would scare me. I’m good on leash, although at times I get scared. With a little coaxing I can get back up and go again. If I had a fenced in backyard that would be great. If you’d like to be my family? Bri is heartworm positive and her new family will need to live close to our Vet in Indian Rocks Beach for her timely heartworm treatments over the next few months. A VIP Volunteer will go over all the protocol with you, along with the “do’s” and “don’t’s” of a heartworm positive dog until treatment is complete. VIP of course, covers the heartworm treatment in full. Bri is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and has been started on heartworm and flea prevention. Please fill out that adoption application to be considered to adopt. click on link to be directed to application submission.

Princess/Seminole

Available for adoption!!!
VIPRescue.org

Are you ready to meet a pint sized Royal? If you are, Her Royal Highness of cuteness, Princess, is available for adoption. Princess, came to VIP as an owner surrender, when her mom developed a health issue, rendering her unable to provide Princess with the regal lifestyle she deserves. Princess is a 12 year young Maltese who loves to follow her foster parents around the house, snuggle at every available opportunity and captures hearts of all in her presence. She loves walks around the neighborhood and dances with joy when the leash comes out.

Princess does have separation anxiety, so only households with an adult home all day. Also due to her small size, all household members need to be 12 years old or older. She is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines. If you have room in your heart for a sweet Royal, please submit an application.

Polo / Redington Beach

Hey there, my name is Polo, and I’m the cutest 8lb, 3 year old chihuahua boy you are going to ever meet! I’m a BE’u’tiful chocolate color, with a brown nose and brown eyes and maybe a little white on me too. I am currently interviewing for a new home and family. I just love leash walks and am also potty trained.  It would be a bonus for me if you have a fenced in yard (you know it is all about me), because I do enjoy sunbathing and all the fresh smells of the outdoors.  I also get along great with most pups or I could be your one and only.  I’m good with respectful kids and I have not been cat tested.  I like to follow my foster mom around and snuggle with her as soon as she sits down.  She says i’m a “Velcro” doggie! I would love it if my new home has humans around most of the time. I do get a little scared with loud noises and having a human there helps me get through some of the scary stuff.
I am neutered, microchipped, current on my vaccines and have started my monthly heartworm and flea preventatives. Do you have room in your heart and your home for sweet little me?  What do you think?  if the answer is a BIG yes, please submit an application with viprescue.org. i’ll be here waiting to meet you. 🐾❤️
