Jody came to us in bad shape, his previous people did not care for him like he, and every animal, deserves. He was flea infested, matted, calcification on his teeth, not neutered, long nails and an ulcer in his eye. Jody is a 3 year old, 17 lbs, loving Carin Terrier mix boy.

VIP Rescue welcomed him with open arms and quickly made plans to get him back in good health. First up a was spa day, scrub a dub dub bubble bath and a groom to remove the matts, with a mani/pedi to finish the “spa” treatment! Wow!!! (Um, who wouldn’t want to live in that foster home, right? Lol…) He is absolutely gorgeous. He has a mild, happy go lucky boy temperament. Next up was a vet visit with the “Dog”ter. Jody was treated to a neuter, dental and eye evaluation. He will need to have drops administered to the eye 2 times daily and ointment applied for several months. It has only been a week and his eye is showing improvement. His foster home is giving him tons of love and affection.

Foster “Mom” says that he plays nice with the other small doggies in their foster home. Now that he feels safe, he loves napping in doggy beds and quickly starts snoring. SERIOUS snoring! LOL… He loves leash walks and meal time. Since he could stand to lose a few pounds, he should be on a diet for a little while to get to a healthier weight, maybe losing 2-3 lbs. (Vet recommended) This sweetheart is looking for a family to call his own (Kids 10+), and if you have a doggie at home already, it is recommended to be of a similar size.

Jody is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, had a fresh dental and started on heartworm and flea prevention as well.
