ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: You must be a resident of FL. to adopt Luna. Luna requires a 6 foot fenced yard in a single family home – no renters. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, they must be current on vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. Standard Poodles typically live 12-15 years, so keep their lifespan in mind if you are thinking of adopting Luna. Your age should be appropriate for her estimated lifespan. ADOPT LUNA: LUNA is a very happy joyful girl full of love and life, and just waiting for her new home with open paws. She recently birthed a litter of darling puppies, and is now ready to move on from that life, and be a companion dog. Luna likes to play outside, likes other dogs, and is okay with cats. She is still very much a puppy at heart. She follows you everywhere, you will never experience loneliness after meeting Luna. She enjoys leash walking, is house-trained, enjoys playing ball, and wants to cuddle. Luna is ready to begin her journey with a family of her very own that can run with her, entertain her, and play with her often. If you are ready for a loving girl, look no further. She will be a dedicated devoted companion to the end…….

MEETING Luna: She is fostered in Seminole, FL. and will be adopted to a home within a reasonable distance. You will need to travel to Seminole to meet Luna if your application is approved. You will need to bring all your family members and pets for the introduction meeting.

The STANDARD POODLE BREED: Luna is a mixed breed Standard Poodle. We were told she is a Schnoodle, which usually means a cross between Poodle and Schnauzer. Please do your homework on the Standard Poodles breed, they are not for everyone. They are high energy, have a high-prey drive, and require a grassy yard to exercise in that is fenced on all 4 sides with a minimum 6-foot fence. Standard Poodles are eager to learn, they are athletic, agile, wickedly smart, and are very versatile velcro dogs. They want to be an active participant in your daily life. High quality food is essential and not cheap. Standard Poodles require monthly grooming, frequent brushing, and Luna is no exception. Grooming ranges from $100-$200. They love being around people and are able to form bonds with each member of the family, as opposed to bonding with just one person. They also make superb watchdogs barking zealously when strangers approach the home. Poodles may look dainty and demur, but in truth, these are high-stamina dogs with a stellar range of skills, including agility, obedience, hunting and herding. LUNA HISTORY: Luna was surrendered by a breeder, as the breeder became ill and was no longer able to care for the dogs and kennel. Luna came to us right after delivering her puppies, and her puppies are also at VIP Rescue.

LUNA MEDICAL: Luna was recently spayed, she is up to date on vaccines, preventatives, she is microchipped, and heartworm negative.
