This handsome fella is Phillie, a 16 lbs 3 year old happy go lucky Yorkie Poo, who is learning all about the good life. He was surrendered to VIP Rescue after living the first 3 years in a crate with little human interaction. The human bought him and then didn’t have time for him. LUCKY for him he found his way to our little rescue where for the first time in his short life he will KNOW what life is really like.
We will make sure of that! After some time and patience, he is slowly beginning to trust and relax a bit. He enjoys morning, afternoon and evening walks with his foster pup pack, sunning himself, sleeping in the big bed at night with foster mom and pups, zoomies in the back yard or curling up in one of the soft doggy beds around his foster home for an afternoon nap. Phillie would prefer to have an active family to help exercise and play with his newly found lease on life, and all his new found puppy energy. A home with a secure fenced in yard for his “zoomies” is preferred. His new family should either work from home, or one that is home more often than not. Due to his past, he can’t be left alone for too long. He would love to go on adventures to see and smell the outdoor world. Now that he has the freedom of space and not confined any more, he is really becoming the lovey pup he was meant to be. He will warm your heart!
Phillie is a little nervous at first meet, but warms up nicely once he feels comfortable. He is good with other quiet submissive pups as alpha pups scare him. He would prefer to be your one and only, more belly rubs for him. Adult home is preferred, but we would consider respectful children 12+.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: You must be a resident of FL. You must live in a single family home – no renters. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, they must be current on vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. Poodle typically live 12-15 years, so keep his lifespan in mind if you are thinking of adopting Phillie. Your age should be appropriate for his estimated lifespan
VIP RESCUE ADOPTION APPLICATIONS: VIP Rescue reserves the right to approve or disapprove adoption applications submitted based on each dogs’ specific needs. If your adoption application is approved, you will be required to travel to the dogs foster home to meet the dog. A home visit by VIP Rescue at your home is a pre-requisite in the adoption process. Our Volunteers will be in touch with those that meet the criteria for adopting Phillie.
