Hey there, I’m Pete, I’m an 8 month old Chihuahua mix boy who weighs just 7 lbs! I arrived here at VIP Rescue in search of a loving family of my own. Foster “Mom” says that I seem to get along well with the other doggies in my foster home, so that’s a good thing, right? When I was a baby, my eye was injured, it doesn’t bother me at all, and I can still see all the love around me, and I’m a very handsome boy!
I love to snuggle, chase lizards, hang out in the sun and I LOVE TOYS! I am actually a hoarder of toys. I love, love, love them. I take all of them from the toy box and put them in my bed, and then I take them and put them in another doggy bed! Ha! Then foster mom collects them all up and puts them back in the toy box and guess what! I do it all over again, ( I sure have foster Mom trained, huh?) LOL She’s really “paw”some to put up with my shenanigans!
I’m working on my house manners and have made huge improvements. I’m also working on leash walks and am amazed at all the sights and sounds of the outside world. If you have another doggie in the home, they should be of similar size as me, (a little bigger is ok) but no big doggies! I’ve been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and started on heartworm and flea prevention as well.
