Hi Friends! My name is Betty, and I’m a 4 1/2 year old 14lb. PUPDATE as of 8-21-23 12 lbs (only 3 or 4 more to go) Min Pin mix gal searching for a new start in life. I recently came to VIP when my humans could no longer care for me, but that’s all behind me now because my new friends here promised they would find a super forever family for me!
As you can see, I could stand to lose a “few pounds” so “they” tell me, but I just say there’s more of me to love, right? Ha! But seriously, my foster parents are feeding me properly so I can now shed those extra “pounds”. Enough about that stuff, let’s talk about MEEEEEE!!!!!
I’m a real sweetheart, even been told I’m a snuggle bunny (these humans and their descriptions sure are funny!) I get along well with other doggies and even cats! If you have little humans (ya know, the 2 legged ones?) they should be 10+, k? I’m getting the hang of this potty training stuff, but am still a work in progress, I have learned to use peepads, but I’m sure my new family will help me continue my “training”. I love leash walks and I even prance and run a little bit when we first head out for a walk. Losing some of the extra weight has made me appreciate the hard work it has been getting me back on track to a healthy weight. I do get scared when I hear loud noises, like fireworks and thunder, and I do bark when that happens, so please don’t leave me alone for too long. Ideally, my new family should either work from home, or are retired but please don’t be gone for more than 4 hours at a time, k?
I’ve been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and am current on my heartworm and flea prevention. I am ready to rolllllllll! Let’s go!!!! lol… Do I sound like the gal for you? ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: You must be a Florida resident, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, they must be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. If you’ve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years please provide all the names and number for each vet. This breed typically lives 12-15 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pets estimated lifespan.

Incomplete applications or lack of a response from your veterinarian or references will not be processed. We receive many applications for our rescue dogs and for that we are grateful.
