If you are looking for a 100% certified bestest boy then you have found him. I’m Teddy, a 5 1/2 years old Cairn Terrier mix boy. I love short walks and do great on a leash. I need to lose a few pounds so walks are really important for me, but we’ll have to start slow cuz’ I have “wittle” legs! I get along great with my foster sister and have befriended a few pups in the neighborhood on my walks. I may do best with one other chill sibling or be your one and only. Bonus if you are home most of the day because I love to be with my people. I love to hang out on the couch with my foster parents and belly rubs are my favorite. I’m just a pretty chill little guy. Once I know I’m safe with you then I’m stuck to you like glue. I’m house trained as long as you let me out regularly and I’m really a pretty easy going guy to have around and I promise to love you with all my heart ??. The “dog”ter that checked me out when I got here said I definitely need to “lose a few” to be the healthiest boy! My foster family can tell you how we’re doing that with a thing called a “diet”. Hmmmm…..never heard THAT word before! lol

Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. If you’ve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years, please provide all the names and number for each vet. This breed typically lives 13-15 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pets estimated lifespan.
