Hello my name is Rickie my foster dad calls me “shadow ” because I love following everyone around. I’m thought to be a Rat Terrier just a little over a year old only around 9 pounds and I most definitely have 1 year old puppy energy. I love playing with my toys. I enjoy playing with my foster furry brothers. I can be a little shy when you first meet me. Give me few mins I’ll be your best friend. My favorite pastime is cuddling up with you on the couch. I love sleeping with my human companions. I’m potty trained and crate trained if needed. I walk well on a leash. I love going for long walks . I good with children Recommended for with children over the age of 8. I loves other pups and would do well with an established confident similar sized pup in the home. I do not like being left alone for long periods of time, so someone who works from home would be ideal for her or maybe one of our other adoptable pups might fit your lifestyle a bit better! Are you my forever family ?

Rickie is spayed, up to date on her vaccines, microchipped and current on her flea and heartworm prevention.

If you think you might be the family for her, please submit your application for review at VIPRescue.org.

If you want to meet me please fill out an application at viprescue.org and the great folks there will take over. I look forward to meeting you and am sure you’ll fall in love with me.

Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. If you’ve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years, please provide all the names and number for each vet. This breed typically lives 13-18 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pets estimated lifespan.

All of us at VIP Rescue are Volunteers, with families, jobs and pets of our own, so please be kind and patient. We select the most fitting application for the dog, not necessarily the timeliest adoption application. Please make sure to read the entire bio on the pet you’re interested in before applying to adopt to make sure you meet the pets needs. Thank you for thinking rescue.
