Babe is a young Aussie mix and she needs a special home of her own. She loves to play with other dogs (her size and larger) and wants to be near you at night as she sleeps next to the bed. You will be awaken with lots of xoxoxo’s in the am from her. She is slow to trust, but has a super sweet personality once she warms up. She had a rough start in life and is having to learn that life & people can be good. She is thought to be 18 months old, 40lbs, UTD, housebroken, heartworm negative and spayed. A secure fenced yard will be required, as she spooks easy. Babe would love an active family with doggy playmates of her own . She does suffer from separation anxiety occasionally, so being crated for extended periods is not a good idea. She is a very quiet dog that hardly ever barks.

Meet DEXTER. He is a handsome black miniature poodle, about 8 years old, and weighs almost 20 lbs. He found himself at the local shelter, and called on VIP Rescue to save the day! He is the perfect companion dog and you can take him anywhere. He does not know a stranger. He loves to be held, and to be right with his people. He is house-trained, crate trained, leash trained, and the only thing this boy needs is a nice lap to rest on. He loves car rides, plays nicely with other large and small dogs, and wants nothing more than to be loved. He will let you know when he needs to go out; he does his business and is ready to come right back in. He sleeps all nite, he minds well, he loves his toys, he loves treats, and he is a big beggar! He does not like to be left alone much, but then no poodles do! Dexter is a low maintenance dog, and comes to you ready with no training needed. He would prefer a home with older children or no children. Dexter is up to date on all his vaccinations, and is heartworm negative. Dexter is neutered and up to date on all his preventatives. Meet Rosie!
Rosie is a Brussels Griffon Terrier mix. She is a 3 yr old, 15 lb, very quiet lil girl, loves people, all dogs and loves to snuggle in bed with you at night. She loves to follow you around the house, take walks and watch TV while sitting next to you. A real companion dog!
She is housebroken, does not need to be crated, spayed and up to date on all her vaccines.
She has a little white cow lick on the top of her head that stands straight up.

Simon is an adorable very loving boy. He found himself at the local shelter, and VIP Rescue bailed him out. We think Simon is a Westie Poodle mix. He is non-shedding, about 5 years old, and weighs in at 22 lbs. Simon loves people, and he is very affectionate. He is leash trained, crate trained, and house trained. He will let you know when he needs to do his business. He walks well on a leash, is perfect on the groom table, and loves car rides. He has a special pillow, and lives to be brushed and massaged. He will park himself right on your lap and let you know not to stop petting him. He gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home and plays nicely. He does not like to be picked up by strangers; so we suggest no small children with Simon. Once you have his trust and he is familiar with you, he will allow you to pick him up. When walking outside, he stays close. Simon wants a new home where someone does not mind giving him attention all day long and he will follow you to the ends of the earth. He is a very loyal companion, and would be a great addition to any family. Simon is up to date on all his vaccinations, and is heartworm negative. Camry was a prisoner in her own coat. Her ears were 2 inches thick with mats. Her cheeks had mats the size of tangerines. Her leg motion was restricted by the massive mats from her back to her toes. Her hero groomer Roy Parish, who is not only an exceptional groomer, but a friend to rescue, with a giant heart!
In spite of her stink and restraints, she has the magical spirit like most rescue dogs, that just wants to be loved..
Camry is thought to be a young female 2 year old Shih Tzu. Camry is current on her shots, and heartworm negative. Spay status yet to be determined, but will be spayed before adoption. She weighs 14 lbs. with all the mats removed!
She is sweet, appears to be housetrained, not a barker , seems to be good with other dogs.

Let Moe steal your heart as he stole mine. Moe is initially shy but warms up after you prove your worthy of his love. He comes from a very bad hoarder situation which probably explains why he loves sleeping in the laundry basket. Moe is very easy going, he is a low maintenance dog and gets along with all other animals. Moe is a loving dog and prefers a home without any small kids. Despite his very humble beginnings Moe has developed a taste for the finer things in life. He enjoys boating in the Keys, picnics at the symphony, and playing at the barn with his horsey friends. Moe would like to have a house with other dogs so he doesn’t get lonely. Moe is very social and is happiest when he is walking with his dog friends in a pack. Moe is thought to be a 19 lb, 4 year old Maltese terrier mix. He is current on his shots and neutered.

FONZIE is a male, wire-haired terrier, 2 years old, weight 10 lbs, working on house-training, up-to-date with vaccinations, neutered, needs love!!
FONZIE is a true rescue! When a neighbor noticed an uncared for dog she went to check it out…here is what was found: She was told Fonzie used to live free roam in the backyard until someone called the police because he looked uncared for…at this time his so called “family” moved him into a bird cage on the back porch. Now FONZIE lives in a foster home with other FUR friends and freedom to play. He was very fearful at first and gets frightened if you sneak up on him. He had a spa day to make him beautiful, received vetting and is ready for adoption!
FONZIE is slowly learning how to play with other dogs and loves to run around with them! FONZIE is a beautiful array of browns with lovely white front paws! His coat does grow and requires regular grooming, bathing, and brushing. He even has a cute little beard! FONZIE loves to be petted but is practicing not being frightened when you pet him from behind before he sees you – Fonzie would do best with older, dog-savvy kids!
FONZIE loves to go for walks and is working on his skills. FONZIE will need someone with patience to work with him on housetraining; someone who understands that he has been abused so he may be frightened from time to time.

Female Yorkshire Terrier — 5 years old – spayed and had a dental cleaning. She is up to date on vaccines and recently groomed. Nice silky hair not fur. Good eater – likes running around the back yard. Somewhat independent – she was a breeder dog. She is learning quickly that humans are good and the foster mom is amazing!! Brandy is a gorgeous Pekingese with black, white, and dark brown coloring. She and her sister Cognac are 5 years old and both about 13 lbs of love. They are both very friendly, amazing with kids and other dogs and house-trained. They are both spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and HW negative, though Brandy is on medication which prevents seizures. They’ve recently had a dental cleaning, and they are also micro-chipped.
These girls have always lived together and are very bonded. Recently their mom died, and VIP Rescue pledged to find them a new family where they can be adopted together into a loving, 4-ever home.

Male Toy Poodle — 5 yrs old – 8 lbs all up to date on vaccines! Neutered and will have a dental cleaning this week. Lucky was found on a busy street- a nice couple tried to find my family to no avail. Therefore I am the lucky one who has all the furnishings with my new foster mom!! Will cuddle and give kisses!!
Lucky is 100% a lap dog. He is house trained, quiet, does not pick up and move anything. He follows me everywhere I go and just wants to be with me. I had him sleep in a crate a couple nights, and that was something he was not used to but he took it well. After that, I let him sleep on an open dog bed. He is a pleasure to have around. He has a very sweet disposition, friendly to all people and animals.

Meet Slate, a Phantom Standard Poodle puppy, 14 weeks old, and 14 pounds. I am crate trained, sleep thru the nite, and am a very busy playful boy. I love kids, other dogs, love baths and to be brushed and am well socialized. I will likely be a smaller standard when full grown, but then we never know! I will keep you busy because I love to play. I am 95% potty trained. When I am older I will need obedience training. I require a fenced yard to run and play. You will need to be an active fit person to keep up with me! I am up to date on all my shots, preventatives, and ready for my new home! Standard poodles are high energy dogs. This highly intelligent dog is one of the most trainable breeds, however, puppies require a lot of time and commitment for them to reach their full potential. Standards are social animals and want to be with their people and not left alone or crated for long periods of time. Please be aware of the grooming needs of standard poodles. They must be groomed every 6-8 weeks and the cost of grooming one standard poodle ranges from $60-100 depending on the city in which you live. Candy is a female Poodle estimated age 6-8 — she is sweet as a Candy Cane. She was given up by a breeder who sold all her puppies. She is now spayed – had a dental cleaning and recovering nicely in her foster home. She weighs about 8 lbs and is eager to find her 4-ever home where she can enjoy the finer things in Life!
As for personality, Candy is just a love sponge. She would do well in a house with or without another dog. She does not seem to mind but she lives for the human cuddle time. She will endure the other dogs checking her out if it means she gets to hang out with you. She looks to please – on walks she will walk a bit and then look at you to tell her she is a good girl if she does her business outside. Candy is pictured here with her foster buddy Cheyenne; they are content when you are out and they are in the play pen together but she loves to be close as much as she can. She loves to snuggle and sit with you on the sofa or at your feet.

Missy is a very sweet, gentle little lady. She is only four years old, but thinks that she is a puppy; 6 1/2 lbs of kisses. Loves all people and no one is a stranger. She would love a forever home where she can be your companion and best friend. She does best with someone home most of the time.
