My name is Barney and I am very housebroken even though I have to go often. I will shadow you everywhere and I sleep quietly in my bed throughout the entire night without a peep. I get along well with all the other dogs and share my bone, food and toys like a gentlemen. I am playful and my foster mom says I am one of the most adorable gentle polite dogs she’s ever known. I guess I have something called Cushings so I get a treat (with a pill in it) twice a day. I’m 6 or 7 and 17.3 lbs and a bichon/maltese. So enough about me…what about you? Hobo is around a year old, vetted, neutered, micro-chipped, good clean teeth. He is lively, playful & friendly & rides well in the car. He gets on well with an elderly Yorkie in his temporary home, but is very “frisky” with her. No signs of aggression with food or toys. He is scared / skittish outside – probably from being a “stray” for unknown time – once captured (Thanksgiving, after two weeks of coaxing him to come closer) he bonded quickly & relaxed. He loves his walks !

This Wizard of cuteness is a Yorkshire Terrier. He weighs in at about 10lbs. He is thought to be 5 or 6 years old. He will be up to date on shots and vaccines and he is heart worm negative.
He’s very polite, getting up on furniture when invited. He listens well. He sleeps quietly in the crate at night, though can use a little nudge to get in the crate 😉 He’s pretty quiet throughout the day.
He gets along well with other animals and is good with people. He’s just had a bath and is super shiney and silky soft.
He came to us from owners no longer able to take care of him, after his original owner died.
He needs the slow, gentle but Firm hand of an experienced owner, He can sometimes get angry or annoyed when being told what to do….now isn’t that a typical Terrier attitude!!!?? LOL
But that means he is Not a good fit for a home with small children!
