Wyatt has a meet greet scheduled for this Saturday with a potential adopter. 

Wyatt is a 5 year old Giant Schnauzer / Standard Poodle blend sometimes referred to as a GIANT SCHNOODLE.  He has a lovely non-shedding black/silver curly thick coat.  He weighs in at 83 lbs, and is a big happy healthy boy!  Wyatt comes to VIP Rescue from his owner who did not have the time to devote the attention he needs but suffered no abuse or neglect.  He attracts a crowd wherever he goes, and people are in awe when they see him.   He is a well trained boy, sits, lies down, walks well on a leash, and comes when called.  Wyatt needs lots of attention; he puts his head in your lap for affection.  If you do not respond, the paw comes up on your lap, then the other paw, and pretty soon he will be in your lap before you know it!  I would classify him as a very needy boy…..in that he likes attention 24×7.  He follows you everywhere you go.  He is in good health, but we are working at rectifying an ear infection at this time.

He is housetrained and crate trained.  As a puppy, he had a broken hip, and surgery corrected the problem.  He shows no signs of issues from this injury as he was properly cared for at the time of injury.  You can take Wyatt anywhere with you; he enjoys riding in the car and going shopping or out to eat and on walks.  He does not counter surf, nor does he get into the garbage or get on furniture which is typical of this breed.  However, he loves his special toys, and loves to chew bones with marrow.  He does not share his toys or bones……and you will get a growl when attempting to remove them.  We are working on that.  He has a delightful personality, a big lover of his people, and is a good watch dog to alert.

He would make a great Therapy Dog with some additional training.  Wyatt needs a fenced yard in his new home to properly exercise to fetch and retrieve.  We recommend a home with no children or larger older dog savvy children due to his size as he does not really understand how large he is and when he paws for attention, or steps on your feet, it is too much for a child.  He would do well in a home with no other dogs or one other dog.  He gets along with all the dogs he has met; however he is not interested and does not engage with other dogs yet.  Because he likes so much human attention, we recommend him in a home where he is the prime focus of your affection.  Wyatt is not compatible with cats.  He is not fond of storms or fireworks.  Wyatt requires frequent grooming.

Jerry is an 8 week old schnauzer mix. He is current on her shots ,micro chipped, neutered and to young to be heartworm tested. Dad was an opportunist. No, he is not housetrained or do any tricks yet. Please remember, puppies are allot of work.

NIKKI Update!!

Nikki got through the vet visit with flying colors 🙂  She’s about 15Lbs.  She’s been spayed, brought up to date on all her meds and vaccines, and even had a dental!

Hey guys my name is Fletch, I’m approximately 3 years old, 8 lbs of love and snuggles. I’m a doxie/poodle mix which makes me extra cute.  I’m house broken, I won’t stay on the bed with my foster Mom if I have to do my business, I let her know so she can take me out, then it’s snuggles for the rest of the night.  When I came into rescue I was very afraid and intimidated, but no more. I’m one friendly, funny, loving little boy.  I walk great on a leash, absolutely love car rides and I get along great with my foster Mom’s pack of four dogs.  In the last couple of days I even learned that I love toys too. I’m very polite and would love to be your best buddy, I’ll follow you anywhere. Oh bonus, I’m crate trained for when your not home. Spunky and Willard are a dynamic duo, and they are hoping to be adopted together!  Spunky is a female red toy poodle weighing 7 lbs, thought to be about 1 year old.  Willard is an 11lb cream male toy poodle, thought to be about 7 years old.  These two were found roaming together, in bad shape, and they are best of buddies!  We believe Willard may be the father to Spunky. 

We are very loving, friendly dogs.  We love to be lap dogs, play ball, and give kisses.  We love people!  We are spayed/neutered, we are up to date on our vaccinations, and microchipped.  We are crate trained and working on our potty training.  We love to go for walks, and sit on laps!   We will make you laugh at our antics, and we love to go everywhere you go.  We stay right by your side and are a good boy and girl!  We hope to find a new home together that has time to devote to us, and continue our potty training.  Willard has a cataract on one eye, and the other is fine.  We are fostered in Mt. Tony is thought be be a 4 year old lhasa mix. This darling boy is about 19 lbs of sweetness.He is current on his shots , micro chipped, neutered and on hearworm prevention. He is kid tested , good on a leash and mostly housetrained. He is mildly vision impaired.

Yule is a 2 year old Chi/terrier mix.. This lovely lady is current on her shots, spayed,micro chipped and on heartworm prevention.. She appears to be house trained, she is quite and takes a little time to warm up.She is best suited for a home with out cats.

MEET GOBO and WEMBLEY!

We are two brothers, and we have been together our entire lives.  We were named after the Fraggle characters in Fraggle Rock.  We were born in Sept. 2013, so we have a third birthday coming up.  We hope to be in our new home by our Birthday!  We are first generation Labradoodles, and we are very handsome, loving, and well behaved.  We came to VIP Rescue as our family will be moving to an apartment soon, and they want us to have a fenced yard like we have been accustomed to – to run and to play.  We do not think apartment life would work for us.  We want to find a home together, because we are very bonded, and we even like to be in our crate together!   We are playful, love people, and aare dog friendly.  We weigh about 75lbs each, we are healthy happy boys – so long as we are together!    We are well behaved boys in the house, but we do get very excited initially when people come to visit us.  We do have manners, and we do not jump or bully our visitors.  We are irresistable!  We are not yet accustomed to riding in cars or going places.  Our family has had our groomer and veterinarian come to our home to care for us.   We need some leash training as we have not been walked on leashes.  We are both very smart and eager to learn.  Can you please find us a loving home where we can live together?  We are both neutered, up to date on our vaccinations, microchipped, housetrained, and crate trained.  You will need a VERY LARGE CRATE though, because we want to be together.  We have not been with children, cats, but have lived with other large dogs.  If our new home has children, we hope that they are older as sometimes we get very excited and we might knock a little one down.   Please help us find a new loving experienced home together with tennis balls!  We are losing our family we love, so we do not want to lose one another!
