Meet ‘Romeo’ – a beautiful miniature poodle boy in my best years … I am very sweet & gentle – I love all people and I am wonderful family pet I am generally good with other dogs, but I don’t like it when certain dogs get too close to my face – it makes me uncomfortable and I react a little defensively but if you give me some time to really get to know those ‘pushy’ dogs, I am fine with them also … it just takes a little patience – and believe me, I am soo worth it!! …my house manners are impeccable, I am crate trained and I am very calm and mellow and not a barker at all … I do get sad when you lock me up in a bathroom or laundry room and will ask to be let out – I much prefer to be in a wire-crate (placed in a more central part of the house) instead, where I don’t feel left out – in my crate, I feel safe and just take a little nappy while you are away … I am a real cuddle-bug and love to sit on the sofa with you or just lie at your feet … I love to be part of the family and don’t want to miss anything, so I will follow you through the house, but I am very respectful and never get in your way or run around between your feet …when you take out my leash, I get so excited that I do a little ‘poodle dance’, because I simply love to go for car-rides and walks … I am very well behaved in the car and on my leash … did I mention that I also do my cute ‘poodle dance’ for anyone who offers me treats ?… you just have to meet me to see what a loving companion I will make!!

Romeo is 8 years old, weighs about 10 lbs, is neutered, recently had a dental-cleaning and is up to date on all his vaccines. His adoption donation is $100 for seniors (VIP’s ‘Seniors for Seniors’ promotion) and $150 for non-seniors.

BAXTER is a handsome one and a half year old Labradoodle.  He is about 55 lbs, cream with apricot coloring.  He is the BOMB!  He is well behaved, low key for a labradoodle, and loves people, other dogs, and is fine with cats.  He loves to run, and boy can he!  He loves to play ball and be chased!  He knows sit, down, shake, and loves to ride in the car.  He is the perfect passenger.  He is potty trained.  Baxter needs a home with a fenced yard to run and play.  He is very calm in the house.  He prefers to be wherever you are, and stays close.  He would love to have some dog friends, but will do fine as an only if he gets lots of exercise.  Baxter is an owner surrender.  He found himself without a home.  He has adjusted here perfectly in one day, and is very gentle and loving.  He could use a groom, so we will get his new photos after his groom.  He is healthy, current on his vaccinations, he is neutered, and heartworm negative.  Baxter prefers a home that is crate free. Symba – Symba is a male Pekingese who is 6.5 years old. He weighs 18 lbs., is crate trained and  just so cute with that little face! Symba  comes from a puppy mill as the STUD! He is a lover not a fighter. When he was saved he was flea covered and had never been loved like this before. He might be missing teeth, but is more than happy to smile at you! He has made many puppies and now just wants to relax and be loved by YOU! He is fine with other dogs and loves kids – he is a love bug and will hug and kiss anyone!

Meet Mattie – He is a tiny toy poodle weighing in at 5lbs.  He is quite active for a senior pet (estimated to be 8-10 yrs) who by the way, live forever! Mattie, short for Matthew would be best suited for an empty nest. He is great with other dogs and prefers to follow not lead. He prefers the comfort of others, and would do best in a home with other dogs. Mattie walks well on leash and is very easy going. He is a little hard of hearing but responds well to hand gestures. He, along with his “brother” Bailey, was the sole focus of his family for most of their 9 years but now, with full time jobs and two children under the age of 5, his family is not able to give him the attention and love he needs. Jack is not fond of being chased by rambunctious young children. He has no bite history. Jack is more independent and low-key than his “brother” Bailey. He is housebroken and will be up to date on his shots and preventatives. Jack is fostered in Titusville.

Meet Little Spark, a sweet, calm, white & gray Toy Parti Poodle that is needing a warm lap to curl… up in. He is approximately 6-8 years young and weighs roughly 8 pounds. He is loving, obedient, house-trained, good with kids and other pets. Due to years of neglect and poor diet, his coat has thinned and he doesn’t get around too quickly. In just a few days, he has made amazing progress and with continued proper care and exercise, he be a healthy, jaw-dropping adorable little guy! Hello! … I am ‘Nala’ – a beautiful Yorkie-Poo girl … I am a very sweet and gentle little girl and always nice to people and children … I get along great with every dog I meet and have grown very close to the dogs in my foster home – we play together and then snuggle up for a little nappy … I am also gentle with the senior kitty, who lives here … once I get to know a person, I really come out of my shell, but I am more on the shy side, which is why I would prefer to be in a quieter home … my house manners are absolutely impeccable, I go potty on command and I mind very well! … because I am a quiet girl, I rarely bark – only when someone is at the door … I am a true cuddle-bug, very calm and mellow and love to be near you … I also really enjoy being carried around—I could stay in your arms forever! … I love to be part of the family and don’t want to miss anything, so I like to follow you through the house, but I am very respectful and never get in your way or run around between your feet … I get very excited about car-rides and am a well behaved passenger … I have been working very hard on becoming a more confident girl and I am making huge progress!! … to stay in shape, I go walking on a local trail -getting some exercise is great but most of all I like prancing down the trail and really enjoy when people stop to compliment me on my beauty! … I truly am an easy-going & wonderful companion! …

Monty is thought to be a 3 year old Lhasa /poo. He is about 10 lbs. He is neutered, current on his shots, and heartworm negative. Neglected, he needed to be shaved down. He is not kid or cat tested. Patches is a timid little terrier mix male. He’s thought to be about 1 1/2 years old. He weighs 15  pounds, but could use some more weight on him. He gets along great with other dogs and people.
He’s neutered and up to date on all his shots and vaccines. He’s heart worm possitive and will begin his treatment for that very shortly.
Patches knows how to sit, but needs a quiet, gentle hand in teaching him more. He does very well in a crate and is doing much better on the leash.

Yogi is his name and picnic baskets are his game.  He is 5yrs old, 13lbs and ready for play always.  Yogi enjoys playing with his foster brothers and loves some alone cuddle time.  He is UTD on vaccines and neutered, he is a small bundle of energy.  But do be on notice that he also enjoys being the ALPHA dog in the house.  He has been groomed short because he was somewhat matted when he came to VIP Rescue.  He can grow out to what his new family desires.  He is a good car rider, needs some ongoing basic training, but is very well mannered otherwise.  As you can see in the picture, he is on the small side for a mini-poo, but still a great little fellow.
