Timber/St. Pete

Hey there, My name is Timber, a handsome dude who’s a 1 year old 15 lb Chihuahua mix guy! I’ve recently arrived in the great state of Florida, happily hanging out in the sun and watching the birds go by. I’m enjoying my foster home, and my foster Mom says I’m potty and crate trained, walk well on a leash and I sleep through the night too! YES! All that wrapped up in one cool dude! Some of my favorite things are lots of kisses and couch cuddles, and I’ve been told I’m super friendly with friends and strangers alike. I’m neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and on heartworm and flea prevention as well. I am heartworm positive, but PLEASE… don’t let that change your mind about me. My pals at VIP Rescue take care of ALL the costs of my treatment, you just have to live close enough to take me to my time sensitive treatment appointments at our Vet in S. Pinellas County. One thing you must do until I’ve completed my treatment in a few months is to keep me fairly calm and quiet. By that I mean very short leash walks only and no running in the yard. But, after I’m all better, I can go back to doing zoomies! ( but not before!)  My friends at VIP will discuss all of the important details regarding a heartworm positive doggie.
