Hi friends! My name is Saila and I am available for adoption!! Weighing in at 15 pounds, I am a youthful 12 year old female shih tzu looking for my “furever” home.
Please excuse my super duper short haircut. I was really matted so my rescue friends had to get all that old hair off and give me a fresh start. But you know what they say? The difference between a bad haircut and a good haircut is about 5 weeks. I’ll be glad when my hair grows back, but at least it’s not winter, so until then, just imagine me fluffy and furry. It’ll grow back, and I will require regular grooming (aka “spa”) appointments, as well as in between brushing.
I’m friendly and affectionate, and very social with other dogs. I can be a bit shy so please don’t expect too much too quick, but don’t be surprised if I find you extraordinary and we click from minute one, the way some friends do.
Speaking of friends, I came in with my canine buddy, Kabo. He’s a 6 year old chocolate shih tzu, weighs 15lbs like me. Please check out his bio to learn about him too. I walk well on a leash and am also housebroken but will also use potty papers in a pinch.
I’m spayed, microchipped, current on all vaccinations, had a fresh dental and am on heartworm and flea prevention. My bags are packed and I’m ready to find my new “fur” ever family!
