Goldie is thought to be a 5 year old 17.5 lb Shih tzu mix . She is current on her shots spayed, micro chipped, had a dental and is on heartworm prevention .
As cute and fun as Goldie is she can have some challenges to correct . She is only suited for adoption by an experienced pet parent She wants to be in charge , of everything! Like the space around the human that is present and food guarding . She appears to be fond of female humans , but men sometimes present as a snack opportunity.
While these behaviors are the obvious result in poor early socialization and no previous guidance they are correctable with appropriate training., She is best as an only child in an adult household only .
The bright side is , she can be lots of fun and has shown interest in toys that squeak . She is catching on to house training and is good on a leash .
