Cover your eyes! You’re not going to believe who you’re going to see next! Why it’s Ember! She’s a 15 week old blue-eyed Pomsky born on 7/5/24. She is currently just a teeny tiny 4lbs, and we think her adult weight can average up to 30 lbs, but please note, that is not a guarantee of weight.

Ember is your typical puppy, loves to play with the other pups in her foster home, loves her yummy food, and of course, like any puppy, likes to chew on things, so she will need age appropriate puppy chew toys. After playtime, she will settle down in a puppy huddle to relax. Puppies require a lot of time, patience and consistency in potty training. Also, don’t forget, they can be “curious” so you’ll need to puppy proof your home for her safety. A work from home family, or one who only works away from the home for just a few hours a day will be given preference. Little Ember would love a family that will continue to show her all the good things that life has to offer. Since she is so tiny, If there are children in the home, it is recommended that they be 8+.

Ember has been spayed, (Foster Mom will go over post surgery instructions with you) is current on her age appropriate vaccines, microchipped and started on her heartworm and flea prevention.

If you’d like to add this little cutie to your family, please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application.

Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. If you’ve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years, please provide all the names and number for each vet. This breed typically lives 15-18 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pets estimated lifespan.

All of us at VIP Rescue are Volunteers, with families, jobs and pets of our own, so please be kind and patient. We select the most fitting application for the dog, not necessarily the timeliest adoption application. Please make sure to read the entire bio on the pet you’re interested in before applying to adopt to make sure you meet the pets needs. Thank you for thinking rescue.
