We’d like you to meet our sweetheart Dixie. Shes an A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. 15lb Pomeranian mix gal. When sweet Dixie got here, she was a little apprehensive about her surroundings, but as she became more comfortable and familiar with her surroundings in her foster home, her true personality has come out and she is absolutely adorable! She has become an expert Lizard chaser as she can find them anywhere, and she perks up as soon as she spies one and the chase is on or even hide and seek is fun to!
I love fun and adventure, so an active agile family would be my preference as I like to play and I love my leash walks with the pack in my foster home. When foster Mom and Dad fix dinner, man, am I right there for that, YUMMY! After my yummy dinner I enjoy a nice walk around the neighborhood. You know I love my walkies and sniffies, and whats really good is I’m really liking these younger humans they call kids they’re like 12 and up, I actually seek them out for pets and socialization! If you have one of them at home, I’d like to meet them to make sure we’d be the bestest pals! After my walkie, I like to come in and settle down on the couch with you while chewing on a doggy bone. Oh, I almost forgot, I will need grooming to keep me looking pretty, and that can run anywhere from $60.00 and up, so keep that in mind for your budget. I am spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and on my monthly heartworm and flea prevention.

VIP Rescue reserves the right to approve or disapprove adoption applications submitted based on each dogs specific needs. If your adoption application is approved, you will be required to travel to the dogs foster home to meet the dog.
Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. If youve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years, please provide all the names and number for each vet. This breed typically lives 12-16 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pets estimated lifespan.
All of us at VIP Rescue are Volunteers, with families, jobs and pets of our own, so please be kind and patient. We select the most fitting application for the dog, not necessarily the timeliest adoption application.
