We’d like you to meet Bynx, can you believe that little face? So cute, right? We are in love with this mighty little fireball. Bynx is a healthy and happy 3.5 month old puppy who weighs in at a whopping 5.5 lbs.!!!! We think her adult weight could be 15-40 lbs, but please note, that is not a guarantee of weight at all, she was surrendered with no information on parentage. She is a very smart little girlie, learning new things everyday. She knows how to navigate puppy stairs to get on the sofa and out to the back yard down 3 steps for play and work on potty training. She is a busy smiley feisty girl. She lovvvvees teething toys, soft toys, and when left unattended human shoes! (typical puppy, right?)
Bynx loves to play with the other pups in her foster home. She would love another dog in her home to play with and bully around with. She is trying to be the Alpha and has a spicy fiesty personality, and of course, like any puppy, likes to chew on things so you’ll need a watchful eye. She picks up anything and everything that is in front of her, so she will need age appropriate puppy chew toys and a quick human to take rocks, twigs and anything she wants to put in her mouth while outside. After playtime, she will settle down in a soft puppy bed or a warm lap to relax on. Please remember, puppies require ALOT of time, patience and consistency, especially in potty training. (She has been working on pee pad training), her tiny bladder can not hold it for several hours, she will need patience while she is learning potty training. Also, don’t forget, they can be “curious” so you’ll need to puppy proof your home for her safety. She will need a home with watchful eyes to make sure she doesn’t get into things she is not supposed to. A work from home family, or one who only works away from the home for just a few hours a day will be given preference.
Bynx came to us with a medical condition and was surrendered from a breeder as unsuitable for sale. She had an underdeveloped rectum. Our vet took her in right away and operated on her to alleviate this issue. She has been recovering in her medical foster home and she is doing fabulous. Potty training will take a little longer than anticipated as with any typical puppy, but especially since her surgery.
Bynx would love a family that will continue to show her all the good things that life has to offer. Since she is currently so small, If there are children in the home, it is recommended that they be at least 12+ and small dog experienced. A adult only home will be given preference. She is fast and so small she can get under feet quickly and sometimes unnoticed. She will need to be in a home where her people are agile and very alert to keep an eye out for her. She is looking for a home with another similar size dog for her to play with and learn from.
Bynx has been spayed, is current on her age appropriate vaccines, microchipped and started on her heartworm prevention and flea prevention.

Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. If you’ve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years, please provide all the names and numbers for each vet. This breed typically lives 13-15 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pet’s estimated lifespan.
All of us at VIP Rescue are Volunteers, with families, jobs and pets of our own, so please be kind and patient. We select the most fitting application for the dog, not necessarily the timeliest adoption application.
