Annie is an affectionate smart black Standard Poodle, weighing in at a sleek 42lbs., born 10.12.2011. Annie is healthy, has been spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and all vaccines and preventatives are current.

Annie has had a wonderful life at her former home she lived at since being a puppy. She lived on a large ranch with many large and small animals and lots of room to run and roam – a home body. Annie was surrendered to rescue as she was having compatibility issues with dogs and for both their safety, she was surrendered to VIP RESCUE to find her a new home.

Annie loves people, and wants nothing more than your devotion and attention. She is a Velcro dog; she wants to be wherever you are, and does not want you to leave. She loves walks, to destroy toys, cuddle with you, and give kisses. She was not raised with children and we do not recommend small children. Annie is trained on basic commands, she is housetrained once she figures out her new surroundings, she likes sleeping in your bed, she loves to run and is very fast. We have been working on social skills outside the home with Annie, taking her on car rides, going to peoples’ homes, stores, introducing her to other dogs on walks, and entering and exiting vehicles. She still has a way to go. Annie does bark when you leave because that does not make her happy!

Annie is looking for a home with a 6 foot fenced area to roam and explore. She is dog selective, therefore we have decide to place her in a home with no other dogs or cats. It takes her some time and space for her to acclimate to new people and new surroundings. Once she does, you will not find a more loving compassionate girl to fill your heart with love and be your constant companion. She is very devoted. She requires a home where she is rarely left at home alone. She would like to go where you go.

Annie requires frequent bathing and frequent grooming, so please calculate that into your monthly care costs. She is not fond of baths, but is good with an experienced groomer.

If you would like to meet Annie, you will need to complete an adoption application at www.viprescue.org. Do not apply if you do not have a minimum of a 6 foot fenced yard with ample grass area for her to run and play. Do not apply if you are not a Florida resident. Applications are considered based on the best matching home for Annie. A Home Visit to your residence are part of the application approval process. If you have dogs, we will schedule a time for you to meet Annie. If you want to meet Annie, you will need to travel to Leesburg, Florida.

Annie’s adoption donation is $350.
