Angus/Redington Beach

Hello Rescue World! My name is Angus, and I’d like to tell you a little bit about myself. I’m a 8 year old 24 lb. “purebred lap/cuddle bug” pupper! I’ve been told that I’m a great boy, and I’m looking for an active home, especially one that likes to take walks, because you see, I could stand to  lose a few pounds, you know what I mean? I am on a reduced fat diet, so hopefully with that and my walks, I’ll be slim and trim in no time. I do enjoy leisurely walks, but I must be honest…I will stop and sniff every blade of grass, every mailbox post, every weed, you get the picture, right? My new family can teach me how to walk without stopping every 2 seconds to “smell the roses” Ha! I really would love a yard so I can chase the lizards, squirrels etc. I won’t hurt them, I just LOVE the chase! So, with that being said, foster Mom thinks my new home should not have any of those “kitties”, ok? I do well with other doggies, even though I’ve always been the “only child” most of my life. It does take me a little while to warm up, so an adult only home is definitely my preference. I just need them to be patient with me and give me time to adjust to my new home.
