My name is Abby and I came with my family from a hoarder situation. I am very scared and not familiar with anything outside of where I’ve lived my whole life.
I am definitely a work in progress. Since I’ve been with my foster dads I’ve learned that a quick lick or a nose bump is ok, but I’m not in to being pet yet. My dad will sit and talk to me and I think eventually I’ll let him pet me, but I’m not ready yet.
I don’t like the leash yet and won’t let you put one on me. I was also supposed to be pee pad trained, but I like to use old towels instead. At least it’s a start and easy to clean.
I do like sleeping in my little bed and at night I cry for my family. I’ll eventually get used to a new family, but it’s going to take some time. 8 years of routine is hard to change. Keep an eye out here for my progress!
