We’d like you to meet one of the many newest additions to VIP Rescue. Abbey is a 13 year young tiny 8 lbs. Chihuahua mix gal. She’s not quite sure of all the goings on in her little life right now, so she’s a bit shy and maybe even a little “standoffish”. She is a sweet as they come once she feels comfortable and trusts you. Quick moves, or if you pick her up too quick, make her very nervous. But….once she feels safe with you, it’s all good and she’ll follow you around and even cuddle with you like she’s known you all her life. She does great on her early morning leash walks, (she really enjoys that) and has been comfy sleeping in a dog bed next to her foster parents bed, or snuggled in a “bankie” in a chair. She will need doggie stairs to reach that favorite chair or couch since she’s so tiny. Abbey gets along well with other doggies, but due to her size and her shyness, she’ll need a quiet adult only home to chill in and enjoy her golden years.
