Well, who do we have here? Why it’s itty bitty Zoey! She’s an 8 year old 5.5 lb little feisty, spicy love bug who’s looking for a new family to dote on her.
A lot of people look for a tiny dog, they’re so cute and tiny, you can take them just about anywhere, but our little “spice” gal is looking for a quieter adult only home who will have patience with her as she settles in. Zoey does have some anxiety, and will bark when seeing/meeting new people, but once she gets to know you, she becomes a Velcro doggie. With a little patience, you will be rewarded with all the cuddles you want, as she is a “clinger” type of gal. If your lap is available and she’s not on it, she’ll figure out a way to get there!
Zoey gets along with other small dogs, or she could be your one and only. She is sooooo little and cute, oh, and did we say spicy and feisty? lol..Yup, that’s our little Zoey! Bonus, she’s house trained and walks well on her leash!
Zoey is spayed, has just had a dental, current on all vaccines, microchipped and on her monthly flea and heartworm prevention.

***We’ve had a lot of interest in her, meet and greets are arranged only with an approved application, not on a first come first served basis, but those that are best suited to meet the needs of Zoey.
VIP Rescue reserves the right to approve or disapprove adoption applications submitted based on each dogs specific needs. If your adoption application is approved, you will be required to travel to the dogs foster home to meet the dog.
Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. If you’ve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years, please provide all the names and number for each vet. This breed typically lives 12-18 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pet’s estimated lifespan.
All of us at VIP Rescue are Volunteers, with families, jobs and pets of our own, so please be kind and patient. We select the most fitting application for the dog, not necessarily the timeliest adoption application.
