Hi, My name is Kia. I am a 1 year old Maltese Poodle mix and weigh 14 lbs. When I first got to VIP, everyone thought I was a quiet lapdog. Come to find out, I just wasn’t feeling well. Now that VIP has helped me feel better, my inner puppy is starting to show. I like to play with my puppy sister and my foster dads. I like to chew on my toy rings (and nibble on my daddy’s hands, but we’re working on that.) I am being paper trained and for the most part, I am doing well. Only a couple of slip ups every now and then. I do like to be a lapdog too, I just have to run crazy and tire myself out first. I don’t have any problems with either of my puppy sisters and have shown no aggression towards either of them. I don’t mind sleeping in my crate, or on my pillow in the kitchen. I think I would be better off with a family that has teenagers or a younger person/couple that has the time and energy to play with me. I would also like to have a puppy sister or brother to play with. I am high energy and want a family that has the time and patience to keep up with me.
