Layla is a sweet 8 lb. Yorkie mix, approximately 3 years old. She was very neglected in her previous home and came to us with ear infections, a skin infection, and quite underweight. She is bouncing back beautifully, as you can see, and hopes to weigh in at about 10-11 lbs very soon!
Layla is the ULTIMATE velcro-lap, companion dog. She does NOT like to be left alone and is working through her separation anxiety. For this reason, Layla will need to be with someone that is home most of the time and in a single-family home because she has quite a loud howl when alone and condo neighbors probably would not like that! She travels well, so she would also be a great travel companion! She is fine with other dogs and would probably be ok with cats too. Older children would be ok, no toddlers please.
Layla is an expert in lap ornamentation, and curling up in the human bed at night to keep you company. Where ever her peeps are, she wants/needs to be.
Layla is housetrained, enjoys leash walks, and is an extremely affectionate little girl who will quickly become your best friend and give you kisses.
