Little ‘Bit/Seminole

Life is full of gray clouds with silver linings and VIP Rescue is my first silver lining.  My beginnings were sure difficult, but now I am looking forward to my new life with my new human.  With that said, let me tell you a “Little Bit” about myself.  I am a 5 year old male Shih Tzu-  Cairn Terrier Mix weighing in at 18 lbs. (I can stand to put on a couple pounds, but that is one of my past gray clouds.)  I am learning about exploring the world with my foster family.  I am potty trained and leash trained, ( with the exception if I see a rabbit.  I sure do like chasing them!)  I am still learning how to be a dog, I got the chewing on bones down and learned the dog door all by myself, but I am still trying to figure out what toys are all about.  I am a one person type of guy and in my foster family it is my Foster Big Daddy.  With him I snuggle and cuddle any chance I can get.  Waiting patiently everyday for him to come home from work just to greet him with all the kisses and tail wags I can muster.  I acknowledge that there are other members in the family, but Big Daddy is the person I enjoy the most.  I am still a work in progress; as my “past life” was part of a hoarding situation, I was isolated, scared and alone and usually hungry until I was rescued, so I hope to find a human that has lots of patience and knowledge of working with a dog that spent the first 5 years not socialized with humans or dogs.
