Join us for one of the most beloved traditions in Florida! The 22nd Annual Gulfport’s Get Rescued Animal Rescue Festival & Fun-raiser is back on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 10 AM to 5 PM along beautiful Beach Boulevard S.

This community event transforms Gulfport into a pet-lover’s paradise, all to support our furry friends in need. 100% of the event’s net proceeds are donated back to the participating rescue groups!

Foster Homes Needed!!!!
We have many dogs waiting to enter our Rescue, but we can’t help them without YOUR help!
Wouldn’t you love to love on a doggie, to help that dog get accustomed to the sights and sounds of a real home, to prepare that dog for their “fur” ever home? Then we want to talk to YOU! 
VIP Rescue provides everything needed to successfully foster one of our dogs, all medical care, food, crate etc. you just need to provide a safe loving home with a fenced yard as many of the dogs come in scared and haven’t been exposed to leash walking. A secure fenced in yard with you their by their side at all times is the safest way to help them learn about the leash and all the good things life has to offer them. You’ll need to live within an hour of the St Petersburg, Fl area for any necessary Veterinary visits.

VIP Rescue receives many requests to rescue dogs from shelters.  To rescue these dogs, we need FOSTER HOMES.  If we do not have foster homes, we are unable to save these dogs.  Can you volunteer to be a FOSTER at VIP RESCUE?   Live in the Clearwater/St. Pete and surrounding communities?   Complete a VOLUNTEER application.
