Hello to my future Daddy and/or Mommy. My name is Cooper and I am a 2 year old (almost 3, birthday party for me!!) terrier mix in search of my forever home. In order to be my guardian(s), these are my requirements. Yes, us terriers have requirements of our humans to invite them to live in our world. First, I must be the center of your universe. I love life as long as I get all the attention, so NO CHILDREN, and NO OTHER PETS. Besides, why would you need the joy of a human child or another pet when you have me? Ha! Second, I require my human(s) to be a homebody(s). Either work from home and/or retired and/or a stay at home guardian. I am afflicted with separation anxiety. (Currently, my foster mom works from home; so I sit with her while she is at the computer and do my zoomies out back during her breaks.) Third, I must be exercised on a very regular basis. I know that I really need a younger, active human. I require a fenced in yard and a single family owned detached dwelling. (sorry, no rentals at this time) I might be little, but I require a lot of room to stretch my legs. And I like to zoom, zoom, zoom throughout the back yard. It is my job to keep all predators out of the back yard and I am excellent at my job, if I do say so myself. Fourth, Toys!!!! I require toys to keep me happy. Fifth, Love and patience!!! I am a good boy when my guardians give me all that I need which is mostly LOVE. I will also require regular grooming, so please keep that in mind. I am neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and current on my heartworm and flea prevention!

VIP Rescue reserves the right to approve or disapprove adoption applications submitted based on each dogs specific needs. If your adoption application is approved, you will be required to travel to the dogs foster home to meet the dog.
Any incomplete application will NOT be processed. You should also call your Veterinarian’s office and give your permission for us to speak with them to gather the necessary information we need to process any applications.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: You must be a resident of FL. live in a single family home – no renters and be at least 25 years of age. This breed typically lives 12-15 years, so keep their lifespan in mind if you are thinking of adopting. Your age should be appropriate for their estimated lifespan.
