Hi there, my name is Cooper, and I’m a 2 year old terrier mix boy who weighs in at a mere 11.2lbs. I love my walks, foster Mom takes us on a nice walk early morning when it’s cool out and early evening. Hopefully my new home will take me for walks too, and keep me in tip top shape! I’ve got the most gorgeous blonde curls for a coat, some people would pay a fortune to get this color, ha! foster Mom says I could be a cover model! Silly foster Mommy, right? (but I wubs her anyway lol) Anywho, I’m a really handsome boy who loves to follow my human around and cuddle when they stop moving. I also love to sleep with foster Mommy, her bed is SO comfy! I’m rapidly improving on my house manners as long as I get out often enough, k?
Now, this is really really important to know about me. You MUST be an experienced established pet owner, I am not a good starter pup. A home visit might be asked of you as well. I am an Alpha dog and like to get all the attention and be “the boss”. I can be quick to tell you if I don’t like something and/or don’t want to do something. Some may say I’m “fresh”. If you let me do my thing, I am the happier, bestest guy. Foster Mom is working on this with me, but I’m definitely a work in progress and you will definitely need to continue working with me on these issues, but I promise you, I’ll be worth it. Foster Mom will explain all my “quirkiness” to an approved applicant. I’ll require an experienced adult only single family owned home (sorry, no rentals at this time) with a secure fenced in yard, sorry, no exception. Don’t forget, I’ll need regular grooming to keep me looking my very best. I’m already neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and started on heartworm and flea prevention. VIP Rescue reserves the right to approve or disapprove adoption applications submitted based on each dogs specific needs. If your adoption application is approved, you will be required to travel to the dogs foster home to meet the dog.
Any incomplete application will NOT be processed. You should also call your Veterinarian’s office and give your permission for us to speak with them to gather the necessary information we need to process any applications.
