Brandy is a gorgeous Pekingese with black, white, and dark brown coloring. She and her sister Cognac are 5 years old and both about 13 lbs of love. They are both very friendly, amazing with kids and other dogs and house-trained. They are both spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and HW negative, though Brandy is on medication which prevents seizures. They’ve recently had a dental cleaning, and they are also micro-chipped.
These girls have always lived together and are very bonded. Recently their mom died, and VIP Rescue pledged to find them a new family where they can be adopted together into a loving, 4-ever home.

Lucky is 100% a lap dog. He is house trained, quiet, does not pick up and move anything. He follows me everywhere I go and just wants to be with me. I had him sleep in a crate a couple nights, and that was something he was not used to but he took it well. After that, I let him sleep on an open dog bed. He is a pleasure to have around. He has a very sweet disposition, friendly to all people and animals.

Meet Slate, a Phantom Standard Poodle puppy, 14 weeks old, and 14 pounds. I am crate trained, sleep thru the nite, and am a very busy playful boy. I love kids, other dogs, love baths and to be brushed and am well socialized. I will likely be a smaller standard when full grown, but then we never know! I will keep you busy because I love to play. I am 95% potty trained. When I am older I will need obedience training. I require a fenced yard to run and play. You will need to be an active fit person to keep up with me! I am up to date on all my shots, preventatives, and ready for my new home! Standard poodles are high energy dogs. This highly intelligent dog is one of the most trainable breeds, however, puppies require a lot of time and commitment for them to reach their full potential. Standards are social animals and want to be with their people and not left alone or crated for long periods of time. Please be aware of the grooming needs of standard poodles. They must be groomed every 6-8 weeks and the cost of grooming one standard poodle ranges from $60-100 depending on the city in which you live. Candy is a female Poodle estimated age 6-8 — she is sweet as a Candy Cane. She was given up by a breeder who sold all her puppies. She is now spayed – had a dental cleaning and recovering nicely in her foster home. She weighs about 8 lbs and is eager to find her 4-ever home where she can enjoy the finer things in Life!
As for personality, Candy is just a love sponge. She would do well in a house with or without another dog. She does not seem to mind but she lives for the human cuddle time. She will endure the other dogs checking her out if it means she gets to hang out with you. She looks to please – on walks she will walk a bit and then look at you to tell her she is a good girl if she does her business outside. Miss Phoebe is a darling maltese/yorkie puppy. Don’t let all that soft, fluffy fur fool you, at 9 months old she is barely 5 lbs. Phoebe is a little shy and takes some time to make new friends (2 and 4 legged) but once she warms up to you, she can be loving and cuddly as it gets. She would do well in a quiet home that will give her time to adjust and get comfortable – Phoebe would like to be your only pet – she’d be best with no kids. MAX is a Male (Neutered), Bichon Frise, 7 Years Old, Weight 25 lbs., Cute & Sweet!! MAX is a sweet boy who must leave his loving 89-year-old mommy. She truly loved him but can no longer care for him, so she wanted to make sure he went somewhere safe. She made sure that VIP Rescue received Max with a blanket that she lovingly crocheted for him.
He’s up to date on his vaccines and heart worm negative. He had a small hot spot that is nearly healed up and is currently taking some follow up meds. MAX is curious for other dogs but does not seem to engage them as of yet. He has a beautiful white, curly coat that requires grooming. MAX loves all kids, big or small! MAX is used to wearing a collar for walks. He is a puller but I think if we switch him to a harness he would be happier. He loves belly rubs and lying on his homemade blanket. A solid black mini-poodle at about 15lbs. He is UTD with vaccines and neutered- HW negative. Cole is a VERY energetic young pup of about 3-4 yrs ( a guess ). He loves to dance on his hind feet. He gets along well with other dogs . . . cats unknown . . as well as children, but see no potential problems with children as he allows his foster to take the ball from his mouth on the second day of rescue involvement. Initial vet visit determined he has a cataract forming, but it does not interfere with his activities. Rescue is hoping to resolve this issue. Cole knows his commands and minds exceptionally well for a newbie with rescue. He is also housetrained and chose to sleep in a crate his first night with rescue.
