Precious was dumped to die. Her life was spared by Bonnie, a woman with a great great heart. Precious arrived to VIP Rescue with the assistance of some terrific transporters .
She has a traumatic spinal injury , that has greatly altered her ability to walk. We are developing a recovery plan for her and we are starting with laser therapy,(2 x a week for 4 weeks ) steroids, and anti-inflammatory meds. She is emaciated, so there is no hope at this time for stem-cell therapy. Stem-cell , in this case requires drawing fat from her body , to create the stem-cells.
She is a darling little girl that , wait for it .. pee pad trained .As her health improves, the other procedures will be brought up to standard .. The very good news is , she is heartworm NEGATIVE .
