Peppi was dumped to die at a local shelter. He had to be stripped of the pelt of matted hair and stench, to help him even walk. His fragile body was stiff and weak. He had the deep chest rattle-ling cough.He is blind.
Although he is blind, he stills sees a future of a loving home. If you have never shared your home with a blind dog, you have never learned the lesson of the other senses.

Peppi has been here with us for a few weeks and what we now know about him , by observation, is,
He was a companion pet that certainly knows his way around the kitchen, hearing the refrigerator door opening, knows the smell of food cooking and he was well house trained by seeking out his human to open the door to out side. He nose guiding him , by the change in air temperature and the different scents of outside.His mobility has improved greatly was , the silly little guy was rolling around on his back , playing !
Good nutrition has helped him
Peppi is thought to be 15 years old, and 15 lbs mini poodle. He is current on his shots, neutered and heartworm negative. He will have a dental and micro chip.
