My name is Demi and thought to be a schnauzer/Havanese mix. I am 3 years old and 13 lbs. I came from a hoarder situation and my background is unknown. My foster dads think I must have been locked up in my cage all day because I am very timid and scared of loud noises and movement. However, once I’ve warmed up to you, I will be the best snuggle buddy you’ve ever had. I love sitting next to my daddy on the couch and I especially love sleeping on him. I get along well with my foster sisters and I really didn’t have any interest in the cat. I take a while to get to feel comfortable with you and I still have to go to my safe spot in order to be picked up, but once I’ve made it there, I am a lover and licker. I think I want my adopter parent(s) to have a lot of time and patience to train me. If you are retired or work from home so I can be by your side all day, that would be best. I don’t want to play with any children or little kids. I also don’t know what walking on a leash is. When my daddy takes me for a walk, I just stand there staring at him. I am being trained on my puppy pads and usually do fairly well, but it’s still a work in progress.

Due to my background I will take some time to get adjusted to you and my new home, but I know based on my progress in the two weeks that I have been with my foster dads that I will be happy to work trying to make you happy too.
She is current on her shots, micro chipped, had a dental , spayed and is on heart worm prevention.
