Percy / Redington Beach

Available for adoption

www.VIPRESCUE.org

Breed: Poodle mix

Age:  5.5 mo DOB 12-15-25

Sex: Male

Weight: 4 lb currently – for an adult weight, could be 15-30 lbs *no guarantee, we don’t know the size of  mom or dad.

Color: Brown/Red

DOGS:  Yes, he will require another, similar / Small size dog to play with in his new home.

Kids: Respectful 12+

We’d like you to meet Percy or as we call him Prince Percy or Perfect Percy!!  Can you believe that little face? So cute, right? We are in love with this mighty little fireball, who is a healthy and happy 5.5 month old little boy who weighs in at a whopping 4 lbs.!!!! We’re thinking his adult weight could be 15-30 lbs, but please note, that is not a guarantee of weight at all, as he was surrendered with no information on parentage.  He is a very smart little boy, who is learning new things everyday, like navigating puppy stairs to get on the sofa to be with you, and out to the back yard down 3 steps for play and to work on potty training.  He is a busy smiley guy who lovvvvees teething toys, soft toys, and when left unattended human shoes! (typical puppy, right?)

Percy is all about drama, we are not sure where this comes from.  If you look at him sideways, he will scream, if he is caught by the edge of a chair while he is running, he will scream, and of course if he gets a love bite from another pup he will scream! lol….and when that is gone and forgotten he loves to play with the other pups in his foster home as well as plays on his own.  He will require another small, young, active dog in his home to play with, (no big dogs at all) as well as you should have the time and patience to dedicate to him to. Like any puppy, Percy likes to chew on things so you’ll need a sharp watchful eye. He picks up anything and everything that is in front of him, so he will need age appropriate puppy chew toys and a quick human to take rocks, twigs and anything he wants to put in his mouth while outside. He will also need adult supervision at all times while outside due to the fact he is so small. After playtime, he will settle down in a soft puppy bed or lap to relax.

Please remember, puppies require ALOT of time, patience and consistency, especially in potty training. (He has been working on pee pad training), his tiny bladder can not hold it for long hours, you will need time and patience while he is learning potty training.  Also, don’t forget, they can be “curious” so you’ll need to puppy proof your home for his safety. A work from home family, or one who only works away from the home for just a few hours a day will be given preference.

Percy would love a family that will continue to show him all the good things that life has to offer. Since he is currently so small, If there are children in the home, it is recommended that they be at least 12+ and small dog experienced. He is fast and so small he can get under feet quickly and sometimes unnoticed. He will need to be in a home where his people are very agile, active, and very alert to keep an eye out for him, and one who will take him on leash walks. Remember, the heat in Florida heats up the pavement. Be careful that his little feet don’t go on the hot pavement. Early morning and early evening are a little better, but you still need to be cautious.

He does have a playmate in his current foster home, maybe you would consider adopting both?  Snowball is 1 years young and 5.5 pounds, and is his favorite playmate.  See separate post

Percy is neutered, is current on his age appropriate vaccines, microchipped and started on his heartworm prevention and flea prevention.

If you’d like to add this little cutie to your family, please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application.

Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. We do check county property records and public court records. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. If you’ve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years, please provide all the names and numbers for each vet. This breed typically lives 15-18 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pet’s estimated lifespan.

All of us at VIP Rescue are Volunteers, with families, jobs and pets of our own, so please be kind and patient. We select the most fitting application for the dog, not necessarily the timeliest adoption application. Say hello to Snowball!!  We are in love with this little energetic fluffball with the cutest face. He is a healthy and happy little boy who weighs in at a whopping 5.5 lbs.!!!! He came into our rescue after a Good Samaritan saw him being dumped in a Walmart parking lot. 😡 They couldn’t keep him themselves, and wanted only the best for him so they contacted VIP Rescue. Snowball is a very smart little boy, who is learning new things everyday. He learned to use the puppy stairs to get in and out to the back yard for play and to work on potty training.  He is a busy little guy who lovvvvees the other  dogs in his foster home to play with.  Snowball also loves his leash walks.

Since Snowball loves to play with the other pups in his foster home, he will need another young active dog in his home to play with and please make sure you also have the time to dedicate to him.  Remember, young dogs require ALOT of time, patience and consistency, Snowball is working on potty training and house manners. It’s pretty clear to us he did not have any guidance prior to coming in to rescue.  We are getting him on a routine to help especially with potty training. (He has been working on pee pad training), his tiny bladder can not hold it for several hours, he will need patience while he is learning.  Snowball also needs a home with watchful eyes to make sure he doesn’t get into things he is not supposed to. A work from home family, or one who only works away from the home for just a few hours a day will be given preference.

Snowball would love a family that will continue to show him all the good things that life has to offer. Since he is currently so small, If there are children in the home, it is recommended that they be 12+ and small dog experienced. He is fast and so small he can get under feet quickly and sometimes unnoticed. He will need to be in a home where his people are agile, active and very alert to keep an eye out for him.  He is looking for a home with another, similar sized young active dog for him to play with and learn from. Please no big dogs.  He does have a playmate in his current foster home, maybe you would consider adopting both? Percy is 5 1/2months old, currently 4lb, and is his best friend in the foster home, (see separate post.)

Snowball is neutered, current on his age appropriate vaccines, microchipped and started on his heartworm prevention and flea prevention.

We’d like you to meet Bynx, can you believe that little face? So cute, right? We are in love with this mighty little fireball. Bynx is a healthy and happy 3.5 month old puppy who weighs in at a whopping 5.5 lbs.!!!! We think her adult weight could be 15-40 lbs, but please note, that is not a guarantee of weight at all, she was surrendered with no information on parentage. She is a very smart little girlie, learning new things everyday. She knows how to navigate puppy stairs to get on the sofa and out to the back yard down 3 steps for play and work on potty training. She is a busy smiley feisty girl. She lovvvvees teething toys, soft toys, and when left unattended human shoes! (typical puppy, right?)

Bynx loves to play with the other pups in her foster home. She would love another dog in her home to play with and bully around with. She is trying to be the Alpha and has a spicy fiesty personality, and of course, like any puppy, likes to chew on things so you’ll need a watchful eye. She picks up anything and everything that is in front of her, so she will need age appropriate puppy chew toys and a quick human to take rocks, twigs and anything she wants to put in her mouth while outside. Bynx came to us with a medical condition and was surrendered from a breeder as unsuitable for sale. She had an underdeveloped rectum. Our vet took her in right away and operated on her to alleviate this issue. She has been recovering in her medical foster home and she is doing fabulous. Potty training will take a little longer than anticipated as with any typical puppy, but especially since her surgery.

Bynx would love a family that will continue to show her all the good things that life has to offer. Since she is currently so small, If there are children in the home, it is recommended that they be at least 12+ and small dog experienced. A adult only home will be given preference. She is fast and so small she can get under feet quickly and sometimes unnoticed. She will need to be in a home where her people are agile and very alert to keep an eye out for her. She is looking for a home with another similar size dog for her to play with and learn from.

This absolutely adorable 2 year old mini Dachshund gal is Rae! Her name fits her personality perfectly, a”Rae” of sunshine!

This charmer is very affectionate and loving, who loves being with her human as much as possible. She enjoys sitting on your lap, giving lots of doggie kisses, and is passionate about getting and giving attention, as she has a gentle demeanor. Rae loves exploring the great outdoors w her foster siblings and her foster Mom being out with her at all times in the fenced yard. She’s taken up the role of assistant gardener, always watching what’s going on, as she stretches her head and puts her nose way up in the air to smell all the scents of nature. She’s pretty much housebroken as long as she gets out enough, she’s good on a leash and enjoys her daily walks.

She does love to sleep in the human bed, and does well getting up and down the doggie stairs for access to the bed, chairs and couches. It’s very important that she’s NOT allowed to jump from furniture as not to cause issues with her back. (It’s a doxie trait and this “rule” must be followed)

She does enjoy playing with her foster siblings, chasing, lizard hunting and group sunbathing! Ha! We were told she gets along with kids (at least 10+) and lived with a cat in her previous home.

She’d make a wonderful dog for a young active family as she’s loves her “walkies” to do her “sniffies” and if you have another dog in the family, (or a kitty who has been exposed to dogs already) she’d really like that, if not, she’ll need her humans to keep her occupied with proper exercise.

Rae is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped and on heartworm and flea prevention. Her previous owner had her shaved down except for her tail and ears, so before you know it her gorgeous long haired coat will grow back into that golden/red color.

Think she might be the gal for your active family? If so, please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application.

Marley / Holiday

Dob: 4-6-2021
Breed: Yorkie/Pomeranian Mix – we think he looks like a NorwichTerrier
Weight: 9 lbs
Gender: Male
House Trained: yes, as long as he is let out often
Location: Holiday FL
Good with other dogs: Yes
Good with kids: Yes, 12+
Color: Brown

Who is ready?? Marley is ready!!! Are you ready for Marley??

This beautiful little stud muffin is looking for a furever home. He is thought to be around 5 years old and weighs almost 9 pounds. We were told he is a Yorkie / Pomeranian mix. He’s not a hypoallergenic dog, he does shed and will also need to be groomed about every 6 – 8 weeks so please keep that in mind with your budget! He was surrendered to us from a back yard breeder, and his stud days are now over and he is looking forward to the good life of rest, relaxation and to learn what being a family dog is all about. ❤️🐾

Marley can be a bit shy at first meet, but when he knows he is safe he will seek attention. He hasn’t met a human that he doesn’t like and a lap that he doesn’t accept.

He’s LOVES leash walking and working on house manners. He is a quick study and learning new things every day with the foster dogs in his foster home. He’s a little nervous around other dogs, but very curious, so a slow introduction will be needed if you have other pets in your home. We feel he would do best as your one and only.

A few more things we have learned about Marley is he loves to sleep in the human bed as well as make himself comfortable on the human couch for naps and activity surveillance. He does not appear to know what dogs beds are for and he watches the other dogs in the foster home with curiosity when they play with toys, but so far has not played with the dogs or the toys.

The ideal home would be a quiet adult home with humans that are home more often than not. If you have a dog at home, similar size and age, an adult to senior calm dog would be best, he would prefer to be your one and only. Loud noises and fast moves by human or another dog startle him. If you have children at home, they should be at least 12+ and understand the needs of Marley. An adult only home will be given preference.

Marley has been brought current with his vaccinations, neutered, Yeah! microchipped and received a much needed dental and is also on monthly flea and heartworm prevention.

When considering adoption, please keep in mind that he will need to be groomed, the estimated costs are $60 to $100 per groom every 6-8 weeks

Do you have an open lap? Do you have the patience for him to adjust to new surroundings? Do you think this is the Pup for you? If so, please visit our website viprescue.org to submit an application.

Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. Hi I’m Tilly, a sweet, happy, and smart 4 yr old Maltese mix gal ready for my furever home. I’ve had some bumps in my life, please read my original post a little further down our page about that.

A little about me. I am a super cuddle bug who absolutely loves her humans. I love to dance and spin around when I’m excited. I just wiggle my butt and spin in circles when I know that you are home, or when we are getting ready to go o-u-t-s-i-d-e. I love going on brisk short walks, playing chase, and getting all the belly rubs I can, but my favorite thing in the world is sitting close to my human, like thisclose! Ha! I’m looking for a home where the human(s) are home more often than not, a work from home or retired family would be best for me.

I am crate and potty trained, as long as I’m taken out regularly. I’m learning not to pull on the leash when we go on walks, and I need a patient Mommy or Daddy (or both!) to teach me more leash manners. I also love running around in the fenced in yard. I am a great lizard hunter, and will keep your yard free of squirrels, so it’s important that a human is there to watch over me. I love stuffies, and your stuffie is my stuffie, but a chew bone is quite welcome too. I am also a great guard dog and look out the window to keep you all safe from delivery workers and traveling salesmen. Ha! I had a rough start in my “previous” life, and my foster mommy has been working real hard with me to be the bestest puppers so that I can find my “fur” ever family. Maybe that’s you? I sure hope so! If you know I’m the girl for you, just visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. Don’t forget to put my name, Tilly, on that paper. lol..Hope to meet you soon! 🐾❤️

More about Tilly:

Tilly is good with the other dogs in the foster home, as long as she is the lead/alpha, she is being exposed to puppies and small dogs and is happy to watch them. We would love to see her new home with a doggy friend who is submissive and friendly of similar age or younger and size to play with.

Tilly does express herself with her voice on walks and well as home and can get barky sometimes. She wants everyone to notice her and say hi, so she will require a single family home, no condos, apartments, townhouse or any home with shared walls. Thank you for understanding, as this is what’s best for her. She is the lead dog on the walks and will try to correct the other pups should they try to be the lead pup.

Tiilly is spayed, current on her vaccinations, microchipped and current with flea and heartworm prevention. She will require grooming every 4-6 weeks, and grooming can run anywhere from $60.00-$120.00 per visit, so keep that in mind with your budget too! She does great with grooming and is patient in the bath.

Does this sound like the girly for you? If so, please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application.

Well hi there, it’s me, Willow! I’m having a great time in my foster home, but ya know what? I really really would love a home of mine own. Let me tell you a bit about me, cuz’ you’re gonna fall in love, I just know it!

I’m a 3 year old Standard Poodle, weighing in at about 50lbs, ( I’ve got a gorgeous figure if I don’t say so myself.) lol. ok, so here’s the deal… I get along with dogs similar in size, or even a tad smaller, cats are a no no because they are just to small, and I might chase them around. Good grief I don’t want to get swatted with their nails, right? 2 legged kiddos? They’re ok by me, as long as they’re at least 10 years old, respectful and love to play play play just like me! Yup, I’m quite the active girl.

When I first meet people, I can be a little skittish so you’ll need to go slow and have patience with me while I learn that all you 2 legged humans are ok. I definitely need a very active family, one who likes to take long walks a couple of times a day, or maybe if you need a running partner if you go running, yup, that’s my style…Woohoo! Zoomies around the yard? Heck yeah! I’d absolutely LOVE that! Anything that involves activity, I’m your girl.

My new home must be a single family home with a 6ft secured fenced yard attached to the home. I’m not the type who will do well in an apartment or condo at all. I need my “space” k?

My new family will also need to continue with my training, although I’m a young adult, I didn’t have much training before coming to this great Rescue, but Foster Mom has been teaching me all the ropes, I know sit, stay, come, fetch, you just have to continue so that I can be the bestest girl ever cause’ I’m as smart as a whip and have tons of potential.

I am Spayed, microchipped, current on my vaccinations and get my monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Oh, one more thing I gotta tell ya, grooming… yup…. I’ll need regular grooming which can be costly, to keep me looking like the princess that I am, so please factor that into your budget.

So, whatya think? Am I the gal for you? I sure hope so! You can go to www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application and then if we’re a match, we’ll figure out when we can meet, sound like a plan?
Ok, gotta go, time for a snack and then “quiet time” before bed. See ya soon!

Love and LOTS of tail wags, Willow xoxoxo

Little Christopher is back with us again, through no fault of his own! IF you are interested in him, you MUST have prior experience with bringing a puppy into your home, as well as patience while they go through the “separation “ phase” of not being with their littermates. Yes, they will cry at night for a few nights, maybe longer. They just don’t understand why their little world is a bit upside down and where did their littermates go? Secure fenced yard attached to home required. An established pup already in home required. They DON’T understand, but YOU MUST. There will be absolutely NO exceptions to this. Please don’t apply if you can’t commit to the time and patience or have previous puppy experience..

We’d like you to meet Christopher, can you believe how cute he is? We are in love with this little fluff ball. He is a healthy and happy 6 month old little boy who weighs in at a whopping 9.5 lbs !!!! We think his adult weight could be 20-35 lbs, but please note, that is not a guarantee of weight at all, he was surrendered with no information on parentage. He is a very smart little boy, he’s learning new things everyday, he knows how to navigate puppy stairs to get on the sofa and out to the back yard down 3 steps for play and work on potty training.  He is a busy happy guy. He lovvvvees teething toys, soft toys, and when left unattended um…..just about anything! ! (typical puppy, right?)

Christopher loves to play with the other pups in his foster home as well as plays on his own.  He requires another dog in his home to play with, and of course, like any puppy, he likes to chew on things. He picks up anything and everything that is in front of him, so he will need age appropriate puppy chew toys and a quick human to take rocks, twigs and anything he wants to put in his mouth while outside. After playtime, he will settle down in a puppy bed or lap to relax. Please remember, puppies require ALOT of time, patience and consistency, especially in potty training as his tiny bladder cannot hold it for several hours. Also, don’t forget, you’ll need to puppy proof your home for his safety.  He will need a home with very watchful eyes to make sure he doesn’t get into things he is not supposed to. A work from home family, or one who only works away from the home for just a few hours a day will be given preference.

Christopher would love a family that will continue to show him all the good things that life has to offer. Since he is currently so small, If there are children in the home, it is recommended that they be at least 10+ and small dog experienced. He is fast and so small he can get under feet quickly and sometimes unnoticed. He will need to be in a home where his people are agile and very alert to keep an eye out for him. He requires a home with another small dog for him to play with and learn from.

Christopher has been neutered, is current on his age appropriate vaccines, microchipped and started on his heartworm and flea prevention. Please note, he will require regular grooming which can run anywhere form $60.00-$120.00 per visit, so keep that in mind with your budget too! If you think Christopher is the boy for you, please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application.

Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. If you’ve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years, please provide all the names and number for each vet. This breed typically lives 15-18 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pets estimated lifespan.

Hello friends! We’d like you to meet Keller, an amazing 5 month old Cavapoo mix. So cute, right? We are totally smitten with this little active fluffy whirlwind of a puppy! He’s a happy and healthy little boy that weighs… are you ready? 10.4 lbs!!!! With that being said, we think his adult weight could be 25-35 lbs, but please note this is not a guarantee of weight, because he’s not telling us who his parents are!

He is a very smart little boy, he’s learning new things everyday, he knows how to navigate puppy stairs to get on the sofa and out to the yard for play and work on potty training. He is a busy happy guy. He lovvvvees teething toys, soft toys, and when left unattended um…..just about anything! ! (typical puppy, right?)

We have learned that Keller is deaf, but don’t let that scare you, as he is very smart. He loves to play with the other pups in his foster home as well as plays on his own. He requires another dog in his home to play with in his furever home, a young or younger adult dog he can wrestling with, chase around, most likely tackle, and all around buddy he can learn from. He will need a home that has the time to dedicate to him as any puppy should, and of course like any puppy, he likes to chew on things. He picks up anything and everything that is in front of him, so he will need age appropriate puppy chew toys and a quick human to take rocks, twigs and anything he wants to put in his mouth while outside. After playtime, he will settle down in a puppy bed or on your lap to chill. ( not for long though!) Please remember, puppies require ALOT of time, patience and consistency, especially in potty training as his tiny bladder cannot hold it for several hours. Also, don’t forget, you’ll need to puppy proof your home for his safety. He requires a home with very watchful eyes to make sure he doesn’t get into things he is not supposed to. He will also need time and patience to learn about his surroundings in his new home due to his hearing issue, but once he knows the lay of the land, watch out cuz’ here he comes! Lol… He does requires a single family home, no condos or apartments, as he loves to “ talk”, yup, he’s quite the barker! He’d best be suited for a work from home family, or one who only works away from the home for just a few hours a day as they will be given preference. A secure fenced yard attached to your home is REQUIRED.

Keller has been neutered, is current on his age appropriate vaccines, microchipped and started on his heartworm and flea prevention. Please note, he will require regular grooming which can run anywhere from $60.00-$120.00 per visit, so keep that in mind with your budget too!

Sound like the guy for you? If so, please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. Keller can’t wait to meet his new family!

Having a Deaf dog,

This is one article we googled.
https://www.smalldoorvet.com/learning-center/medical/deaf-dogs

The highlights are:
-You’ll have to be your dog’s ears. You should never let your deaf dog off-leash in an area that’s unsecured. Enclosed dog parks and dog runs are great tools for socializing deaf dogs in a safe space.
-They may not understand certain concepts and dangers that hearing dogs do. For example, your deaf dog can’t hear cars or honking, so aren’t able to use these scary sounds to act accordingly.
-Deaf dogs can get startled easily. Wake them up gently and give warning signs before sneaking up on them. Tap your foot to get their attention and use their other senses to your advantage. There is a myth that deaf dogs may be more aggressive as they can be scared more easily, but this isn’t true.
-They do bark! There is a common misconception that deaf dogs don’t bark, but they can bark just as much as hearing dogs. They may also bark in various situations where a hearing dog would not bark.
-Each dog is unique, deaf or hearing. Deaf dogs aren’t more expensive to care for than hearing dogs, and the costs and care will be specific to your own dog.

PLEASE do your research and understand the potential needs of this boy, before you apply.

A few days ago we told about 2 sweet girls who were abandoned by their family and left behind when their “humans” moved out of their home and just left them there to fend for themselves. We also told you that they needed to decompress, go to the “dog”tor, and just chill out for a few days. “Miss”Hannah is a 10 year old 11.5lb Maltese mix gal, while “Miss” Nelle, is an 8 yr old 10.5lb. terrier mix. Both of these sweeties have been through a lot recently, and are now in search of a loving “fur”ever home together. Yes, together, because these girls are totally bonded.

They both had a delightful bubble bath, groomed, as they were infested with fleas and very matted, then had some playtime and then off to the “dog”tor for their spay, dentals ( poor Hannah had 11 teeth extracted 😞) and brought up to date with their vaccines. It was also discovered that Hannah had an ear infection, and a small hernia which was taken care of during her spay.

With all that behind them now, they are looking for their new family where they would be the only pups in the house. Are you an empty nester? maybe retired? maybe work from home?  Adult only home? Are you active and would love to play with them in the yard, and will take them on walks?  Do you have the love and patience to offer these two a great home? They have a bit of separation anxiety, and are working real hard on house training, and doing great! They’re in a loving foster home that is teaching them all the good things life has to offer. They love going out into the fenced yard to soak up some sun and play a bit. They also follow their foster mom everywhere! As we said, both girls are now spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, had dentals, and are on their heartworm and flea prevention.

So, if you’re up for cuddles, and can offer these girls a safe and secure home, exercise them (fenced yard preferred, but not necessary as long as you go on several daily walks with them) then you just might be what they’re looking for! Need a single family home, sorry no apartments or condos.

Nicholas / Redington Beach

Available for adoption

Breed: ShihTzu mix

Age:  4 mo DOB 10-22-25

Sex: Male

Weight: 6.2. lb currently (Feb-17-26)- for an adult weight, could be 15-25 lbs *no guarantee, we don’t know the size of mom or dad.

Color: Brown and White

DOGS: Yes he gets along great with similar sized pups, required to have established pup in home
Kids: Respectful 10+ with dog experience

Fenced Yard: Secure fenced yard required

** PLEASE READ ENTIRE BIO**

IF you are interested in him, you MUST have prior experience with bringing a puppy into your home, as well as patience while they go through the “separation “ phase” of not being with their littermates. Yes, they will cry at night for a few nights, maybe longer. They just don’t understand why their little world is a bit upside down and where did their littermates go? Secure fenced yard attached to home required. An established pup already in home required. They DON’T understand, but YOU MUST. There will be absolutely NO exceptions to this. Please don’t apply if you can’t commit to the time and patience or have previous puppy experience..

We’d like you to meet another cutie pie, this little fluff ball is Nicholas! He’s a 4 month old Shih Tzu mix, who weighs all of 6.2 lbs, adorable, right? We’re guessing he could be 18-25lbs when full grown, but that’s is not a guarantee because he was surrendered with hardly any info. Nicholas loves to play with the fur siblings in his foster home, but he is quite content to just hang low and maybe sit on your lap to take a snooze 😴. He’s full of himself, loves to go outside and “explore” all the neat things out there, and won’t hesitate to pick up just about anything and put it in that tiny mouth of his!

Soooo typical of puppy behavior, so his new family will have to supervise outside time so he doesn’t get into any mischief. He does love puppy appropriate chew toys, and don’t forget you’ll need to “puppy proof” your home for his safety or you might just find those brand new shoes in pieces if he’s not watched carefully! Also, since he is so young, you’ll need to work with him on potty training, as his little bladder can’t hold it for more than a few hours.

Puppies require ALOT of time, patience and training, so you must be dedicated and have the time for that so that he grows up to be the bestest boy ever! Preference will be given to a work from home family or one who’s only gone a few hours a day. His new family should be agile and very alert since he’s so small he can get underfoot easily, and if there are kids in the home, we recommend they be 10+ due to his tiny size. Nicholas has been neutered, is current on his age appropriate vaccines, microchipped and started on his heartworm and flea prevention. Please note, he will require regular grooming which can run anywhere form $60.00-$120.00 per visit, so keep that in mind with your budget too!

Age:  7 yr young

Sex: Male

Weight: 16 lb (needs to lose some)

Color: White/Black

Gets along with dogs:  yes – Prefers to be your one love

Gets along with Cats: Unknown

Kids: Adult only home

Are you looking for a chill guy who loves short walks, hanging out in the yard or in front of the TV with you? Then you absolutely need to meet 7 year old Oreo! Another cutie Ms. Betsy saw when she was at Animal Services picking up Macy. Oreo’s family could no longer care for him, so they surrendered him so he could find another home. Well, little Oreo hit the jackpot because he came into our rescue!

This little boy had a lumpy bump on his tummy, and a cherry eye. Both have been taken care of by our “dog” ter, He does have an ulcer in one of his eyes which will require daily eye drops that are not expensive, and this good boy takes his drops like a champ! Oreo literally races to the couch so he can get the primo snuggle spot pressed up against foster Moms leg. When it’s time for nite nite, he races over and jumps into foster mom’s arms so she can put him in his bed. He’s not into the dog type of bed, he’s definitely a people bed kind of pup! Ha! In the morning, he will go out to do his business, then come in for a snuggle on your lap while you have your coffee. He adores food, but needs to lose a few pounds and is now on a healthy diet. Though he would love to spend all day with you, he understands you have to go out sometimes, he will gladly nap on the couch til you get home, but watch out! He turns into a fanboy like at Comic-Con and you are his favorite character! There is no possible way anyone could be any happier than Oreo when you get home. Doesn’t everyone want their very own fan club? Then Oreo is the boy for you! Oreo would prefer an adult only home where he will be your only “child”, he gets along with other dogs, but does prefer to be your one and only.

Please keep in mind he will need to be groomed every 8-10 weeks and that can run anywhere from $60.00 ~$120.00 per visit, so you’ll need to prepare for that in your budget. Oreo is fully vetted, he’s been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, had a dental and is on his heartworm and flea prevention. How about it, does he sound like your dream doggie? He sure hopes so. Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application for this amazing boy!

Sex: Female

Weight: 9 lb

Color: White/Black

Kids: Older, but prefers an adult only home

Hey hey hey, who do we have here? Why it’s me, lil’ ol’ Macy girl! I’m the sweetest, cutest, littlest 9 yr young Shih Tzu mix gal you’re eva gonna meet! A few weeks ago, a Good Samaritan found me hurt, thinking I’d been hit by a car and brought me to VEG (Veterinary Emergency Group) to get checked out. I had a boo boo on my belly and was favoring my right rear leg. After a thorough exam and X-rays by the “Dog” ter, there were no broken bones and no obvious internal injuries. Once VEG gave me the “all clear”, I was transferred to Animal Services to be placed on a stray hold to give my family time to come find me. Sadly, no family came for me. I was so sad 😢. Then one day this nice lady named “Miss Betsy” (the Director) of VIP Rescue was at animal services picking up another doggie for their “freedom ride”, when she was asked if she had room for one more in her Rescue, me! She came around the corner, and there I stood with my Snoopy stuffie in my mouth. Ms. Betsy smiled and scooped me up for my “freedom ride” to! Yeah! Now that you know my back story, let’s talk about all the good stuff, k?

After a visit to our Vet, I headed home with my foster Mommy for some much needed rest, relaxation and recuperation time from whatever trauma happened upon me, but that’s all in the past. My new life began as soon as I was picked up by Ms. Betsy ❤️

I’m an independent kinda gal who likes to lounge around the house with all these doggie beds, I’m not big on cuddles, well, not yet anyway 😉 I also like to hang in the fenced in yard with my foster siblings (with supervision of course)  One of my favorite things to do is go on a “pack” walk with my foster friends and foster Mom. I get to do all the sniffies I want! Ha! I’m headed back to the “dog”ter for one final good girl visit to clear me for adoption.  Mommy says that’s a very good thing because VIP is going to find me the bestest and safest “fur”ever family! I like the sound of that! I’d prefer an adult only home, one that the human is home more often than not. Oh, don’t forget about keeping me so pretty! (Especially with bows in my hair) I’ll need grooming typically every 6-8 weeks with a cost from $60.00-$120.00 per groom. Please make sure you keep that in mind for your budget!

I’m fully vetted, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, had a dental and am on my heartworm and flea prevention as well. I’m ready to roll! Do I sound like the girl for you? I sure hope so. Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. I sure hope to meet you soon!

Mojo / Holiday

Available for adoption

www.VIPRESCUE.org

Breed: Bichon

Age:  13 yr young

Sex: Male

Weight: 14 lb

Potty trained: yes as long as he is let out often.

Color: White

Gets along with dogs:  yes

Gets along with Cats: Unknown

Kids: Older, but prefers an adult only home

We’d like you to meet Mojo, or better known in his foster home as Moho or Mojito. This darling senior boy is a 13 year Bichon weighing in at just 14 lbs. This sweetheart found himself at Animal Control as a stray through no fault of his own, and hit the Rescue jackpot when we transferred him into our care and is currently in one of our amazing foster homes.

If you need some new Mojo, he might just be the boy for you! You can even call him Mojito, it doesn’t really matter to him as long as he’s getting lots of human attention. Upon intake, he visited the “dog”ter to have a lumpy lump removed, and was also neutered at the same time. He’s doing very well with both, except for that dang cone that prevents him from using the doggie door properly. He can get out but sometimes he has trouble getting back in, but It doesn’t matter though because someone is always there with him and that dang cone will be gone soon, (yeah!) Then let the good times roll!

Mojo is a playful boy who enjoys romping with his foster family brothers and sisters and wishes they’d participate more.Ha! He’s 13, but acts like he’s a young 7 yr old!  When they don’t want to play he loves to explore all those neat places out in the yard. (with supervision of course!)There’s so many new and exciting adventures to occupy his time. When he’s not romping with his pals in the yard or snoozing on the couch with the “human”, he enjoys taking walks and does very well on the leash. Mojo is potty trained as long as he is let out often, if not he will piddle in the house.

Mojo is full of love to give and would be a great addition to any home, but he’d prefer an adult family, and one who is home more often than not. Please keep in mind the costs to groom him, usually every 6-8 weeks, and this cost can range from $60-$120/per grooming.

Mojo is neutered, has had a dental, is microchipped, current with his vaccinations and is current on flea and heartworm prevention.

Does he sound like a good fit for you and your home??  If you’re interested in adding this little cutie to your family, please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application.

Hello everyone, we’d like you to meet Coco, a 4 year old Pomeranian boy! This gorgeous gentlemen was purchased by an elderly couple and had been used solely for breeding purposes…  Yep for breeding…. UGH…. He sired many puppies and now 4 years later his elder human is overwhelmed and has a very “crowded” house. A family member reached out to surrender this adorable guy in the hopes of reducing the number of dogs her elderly mother has.  We said yes,  because that’s what we do, save dogs!!! We wanted to get him out of the breeder business as quickly as possible and find him a “fur” ever home where he is the center of attention and where he can learn to be a dog, learn to play, and be loved.

Coco is over weight and will need to shed a few pounds which his new family will have to continue doing for him, and he is currently only tinkle pad trained as he lived inside his entire life. Can you imagine? He is such a sweet boy, and LOVES to be outside in his foster homes fenced yard. He can’t get enough of the sights, sounds and sniffies of the outside world.  He is a big no to leash walking at this time, but we’ll work on that with him, as well as help him to just be a dog and be the happy go lucky dog he deserves to be. He’d love to get all your  attention and in return he will give you his huge smile and all of his love back.  He enjoys cuddling and napping on the human lap. Currently he is very nervous when taken in the car as the only time he has ever been in the car was for infrequent grooming and when he was rescued.  We don’t think he would be good as a travel buddy… He would do best as a stay at home buddy.

He is good with the other pups in the foster home, so he could either be your one and only or with another established pup his size (or smaller)

The ideal home for Coco is a quieter adult only home with someone who is definitely home more often than not, ideally a retiree or an adult that works from home with a secure fenced yard attached to the home.  Since coming into his foster home he can’t get enough of the outside. He has not experienced a yard and he is just loving it.  He is a sweetie, but will need time and patience to continue building his confidence and trust in his humans. Also something to keep in mind is that he will require regular grooming which can run anywhere from $60.00 and up for each session, so please be prepared in your budget for that very important expense.

Coco has been neutered, had a recent dental, has been brought current on his vaccines and also on his monthly flea and heartworm prevention.  Might this smiley guy be the boy for you? If so, please visit www.viprescue.org and fill out an adoption application!

VIP Rescue reserves the right to approve or disapprove adoption applications submitted based on each dogs specific needs. If your adoption application is approved, you will be required to travel to the dogs foster home to meet the dog.

Hey there friends of VIP Rescue! It’s me, Marlin! I’m a super sweet handsome 9 year old guy who weighs just 9 lbs. You see, I’ve had several changes in my short life, but now since coming to the great folks at VIP, I’m on the road to a fabulous life! I just love cuddling with the “hoomans” and play real nice with the doggies in my foster home. I’ve been told I do great on a leash. I can be a little nervous to start, but I do warm up if given some time. A fenced in yard in a single family home is a must for me and non negotiable, sorry, but it’s what’s best for me. A dog park is not a substitute. I would prefer a home where the human is home more often than not, maybe a work at home person or one that is not gone for more than a few hours at a time. Experience owner only, if you are looking for a first time pup Marlin is not for you. Please check out other adoptable dogs on our website,

Think I might be the guy for you? I sure do hope so! Just go to viprescue.org and fill out an adoption application to get the ball rolling! Hope to hear from you soon! Licks and wags, Marlin

Marlin is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, neutered, fresh dental and on monthly heartworm/flea prevention.

Josephine / Seminole

Available for adoption

www.VIPRESCUE.org

Breed: Yorkipoo mix

Age:  5 mo DOB 6-18-24

Sex: Spayed Female

Weight: 2.6 lb currently – adult weight could be up to 10 lbs

Color: Tan and Black

DOGS:  She would like another dog to play with in her new home (other dog must be small breed, 15 lbs or less)

Kids: Respectful 10+ with tiny dog experience

Tiny breed experience in the home is a MUST and you will need to be able to provide proof.

We would like to introduce the tiniest, sweet Josephine, Isn’t she the cutest ‘lil girl? :-o. Some of you might remember when she came to us a few months ago.  She was itty bitty and in really rough shape.  Fast forward, here she is a healthy happy bundle of puppy.  She is 5 months old, currently a whopping.. tiny 2.6 lbs, and we think her adult weight could be up to 10 lbs, but please note, that is not a guarantee of weight.

Josephine is your typical tiny puppy, loves to play with the other pups in her foster home, loves her yummy food, and of course, like any puppy, likes to chew on things, so she will need age appropriate puppy chew toys. After playtime, she will settle down in a puppy huddle to relax.

Puppies require a lot of time, patience and consistency in potty training. As a plus she has been practicing leash walks with her foster siblings.

Also, don’t forget, puppies can be “curious” so you’ll need to puppy proof your home for her safety.  She does require a home with patience as she is a bit of a drama queen and seeks attention.  A work from home family, or one who only works away from the home for just a few hours a day will be given preference. Josephine would love a family that will continue to show her all the good things that life has to offer. Since she is so tiny, If there are children in the home, it is recommended that they be 10+ and tiny dog experienced. She is fast and so small she darts and can get under feet quickly and sometimes unnoticed. She will need to be in a home where her people are agile and keen to keep an eye out for her.  She is looking for a home with another dog for her to play with and learn from, but other dogs in home but be small breeds no more than 15 lbs for her safety, please no big dogs.

Josephine has been spayed, (Foster Mom will go over post surgery instructions with you) is current on her age appropriate vaccines, microchipped and started on her heartworm prevention and she does not weight enough, yet for flea prevention.

If you’d like to add this little cutie to your family, please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application.

Breed: Jack Russell Mix

Age:  4 mo DOB 5-20-24

Sex: Female spayed

Weight: 6lb currently – for an adult weight 15-20 lbs

Color: White with black/brown markings

Fenced Yard recommended

DOGS:  She would like another dog to play with in her new home.

Kids: Respectful 13+

Hey there VIP peeps! My name is Jackie, and I’m a 4 month old 6 lb. Jack Russell mix HIGH ENERGY puppy!

I like other doggies, (smaller pups) no big doggies for me! I’m so “wittle”, and they scare me! lol. I love to play with my age appropriate puppy toys, and boy, the food here at my foster home is just delish!

Did I mention I’m a HIGH ENERGY puppy? I LOVE to run and play, so a young, active family will be what I need,( no couch potatoes for this girl!) and preferably one with a secure fenced in yard for me to run around, play ball with you and burn some of this energy off. Kids? I’d probably be ok, as long as they’re older, say 13+ and respectful of my itty bitty size. I’m still working on this “housebreaking” thing, so you MUST be committed to continue my training, and please, because I’m so young, I CANNOT be left alone for hours on end, that’s not good for me, so please take that into consideration as well. If you work part time-time, or work from home, that’d be best!

I’ve been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and have been started on my heartworm and flea prevention to! So……if you’re a young active family looking for an adorable active puppy, please visit www.viprescue.org and fill out an adoption application for me, k? Hope to meet you soon! ❤️🐾 you’d be a great match for Thumbelina, please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application.

Berg/St Petersburg

Dog Name: Berg

Dob: 11/16/22

Breed: Terrier/Schnauzer mix

Dog Weight: 15 lbs

Gender: Male House

Trained: Yes

Location: Petersburg, FL

Good with Dogs: Yes, but would do best as a one and only

Good with Kids:Yes

Good with Cats: Unknown

Color: Black /Tan/Gray

FENCED YARD: Not required, but if you have one that would be a bonus.

Hi there, I’m Berg, a 1yr old 15 lbs, happy Terrier/Schnauzer mix pup! My foster-mom says I’m the greatest dog ever! My perfect fur-ever home is full of love, cuddles, and treats. I love to be around my humans, following them around looking for love, cuddles, and treats. Like the Burg, this Berg is a foodie – be it a good kibble, a sturdy chew toy, or treats by the door or when I’ve been the goodest boy. I am potty and crate trained. I enjoy short leash walks around the block. I would do best in a home where “my” people are home more often than not. I have so much love that I would also prefer to be your one and only pup, as I want all the attention but…. If you have a submissive pup, I’m up for a meet and greet and see how we do. I am smart and curious. And did I mention I am still full of puppy energy? I am playful, agile, and strong. I’m very smart and treat focused so I’d love to find someone who has patience to train me to be the bestest boy (I’m mostly there to be honest). I’m FULL of puppy energy – but for the next month my activity needs to be limited. I was heartworm positive when I came to VIP Rescue from a rural shelter, but I have finished the treatment and feeling better every day. I’ll need to take it slow for a while, no long walks, jumping, or romping/zoomies in the yard until my “dog”ter tells us it’s ok. My VIP friends will explain everything in detail to you. I have a combo wire and hair coat, I do shed a little, but please know I will require grooming every so often, so keep this in mind when you are considering me for adoption. The cost can vary anywhere from $60.00 and up every 2-3 months. I am microchipped, current on my vaccines, I have been neutered and am on heart worm and flea prevention. Do you think I might be the guy for you? I sure hope so. If so, please submit an application with VipRescue.org. I can’t wait to meet you and dazzle you with my charm. Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. Mister /Redington Beach

GENDER: Male

HOUSETRAINED: Yes

LOCATION: Redington Beach, FL

COLOR: Silver Grey

**Incomplete applications will immediately be closed**

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: You must be a resident of FL. You must live in a single family home – no renters. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, they must be current on vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. Shih Tzu typically live 12-15 years, so keep his lifespan in mind if you are thinking of adopting MISTER. Your age should be appropriate for his estimated lifespan.

ADOPT MISTER: MISTER is a very happy joyful 6 yr old boy full of love and life, very affectionate, and just waiting for his new home with open paws. He is still very much a puppy at heart. He follows you everywhere, you will never experience loneliness after meeting MISTER. He is very smart, he knows commands, leash walking, and is house-trained. He loves toys!! He loves riding in the car and going places. He is not happy being left alone for long periods of time and would do best with someone who is a home body. He does not like it when you leave him, but what dog does? He loves playing ball, and sitting on your lap getting petted. He likes to sleep in your bed, and snores! It is so cute! He is excellent leash walking. With other dogs, he is shy at first, and then it is play play play! He does not like to share his toys much. He knows many commands, and is ready to begin his journey with a family of his very own that can run with him, entertain him, play ball with him often, and be able to let him out every few hours for potty breaks. MISTER gets scared during storms, so you will need to give him reassurance when a storm hits. If you are ready for a bouncy intelligent boy, look no further. He will be a dedicated devoted companion to the end……….

MEETING MISTER: MISTER is fostered in Redington Beach, FL. and will be adopted to a home within a reasonable distance. You will need to travel to Redington Beach to meet MISTER if your application is approved. You will need to bring all your family members and pets for the introduction meeting. He has not been tested with cats. He has been fostered in a home with other dogs and was fine.

MISTER requires frequent grooming and brushing.

MISTER HISTORY: MISTER was surrendered by his owner to VIP Rescue. He was very loved, and well taken care of but his owner needed to find a more active better suited home for MISTER.

MISTER MEDICAL: MISTER is neutered, just had a dental, is current on vaccines. He is microchipped, and heartworm negative. He comes with his harness, a collar, and leash.

VIP RESCUE ADOPTION APPLICATIONS: VIP Rescue reserves the right to approve or disapprove adoption applications submitted based on each dogs’ specific needs. Taylor/Redington Beach

Hi ya’ll I’m Taylor, an itty bitty 6 1/2 month old lil’ chihuahua mix girl who currently weighs a whopping 4.4 lbs! I’m sure I’ll get a little bigger, especially with all the yummy nutritious food my foster Mommy feeds me. When VIP Rescue took me in, I had some skin issues and have lost some of my fur. They have taken excellent care of me and its slowly growing back. I still have some splotchy spots, and it looks like I might have some longer hair when it grows in all the way. Yeah!

I came from a hoarding situation, and spent most of my young life without much human interaction. I’m slowly learning to trust people and I’m so happy to be out of that horrible situation thanks to VIP rescue and I’m now experiencing how amazing it is to be loved and snuggled. I have just started leash walks (doing pretty good too!) and I’m figuring out even though I’m so tiny, I am mighty 💪 and can even lead the pack as long as no one else is out walking or cars going by, otherwise I stay real close to foster mom cuz she protects me from scary things ❤️

In the weeks since I’ve been in my foster home, I’ve gone from being scared of everything and hiding from people to jumping up in foster mom’s lap for pets, belly rubs, and snuggles. I actually smile and wiggle happily now, where only a few weeks ago I would cower and shake. I am learning to play with toys with the help of my foster siblings. I love following foster mom around and being in whatever room the people are, even if I’m not quite sure yet if I trust them completely. I do LOVE sleeping in the “big bed” snuggled up with my foster mom and any other pup that fits on the bed.

Foster Mommy said I’m house and crate trained but I definitely don’t like being left alone for long periods of time and I don’t think my little bladder can hold it for a very long time either, cuz, you know, I’m still a baby! 🤗🐾

I know I would do best in a home with a smaller fur sibling to keep me company and show me the ropes. Foster Mom says I’m a bit of a “drama queen” when I get overwhelmed with a pup bigger than me, and boy will I tell you about it, but I’ll usually hang out and continue to play with them anyway. I have learned to do my business outside in a fenced yard. I’m looking for a very patient family who’s willing to give me the time and space I need to warm up and become comfortable in my new surroundings. This is very very important, and I’m totally worth it! Might you be that family I’m looking for? I’ve been spayed, microchipped and current on all my vaccines and preventatives. If you’re interested in applying to adopt me, please visit www.viprescue.org

Love and tail wags, Taylor ❤️🐾

Bruce/ Largo

Where do we start? This sweet old soul, whom we have named Bruce, wandered the streets for a bit, and when caught, was turned over to Animal Services where he waited and waited for his humans to come looking for him. His “found” post was forwarded to our VIP Rescue Director, and without ANY hesitation, Betsy being Betsy, jumped into action and requested a rescue transfer when his legal stray hold was up. We received the message that no one came for him, and he was ready for transfer. Little did Bruce know, he just hit the doggie lottery!

His records showed he was blind, deaf, had dental disease, skin/allergy issues, and was a “geriatric” boy. That NEVER stops Betsy, in fact, she has a real soft spot for the “seniors”. ❤️ Once in his foster home, we discovered he can see a bit and we think he can hear a little bit too. He has no problem finding his food bowl at meal time, a soft bed to nap on or issues navigating the steps to go outside to do his business. Bruce went to the “dog” ter and was given the ok to be neutered and have a fresh dental. He has a strong heart (loving too❤️) and is in good shape for a 12 year old 18 lb. Poodle.

Bruce LOVES walks with the rest of the pack, naps (who doesn’t love a nap, right?😉) food, chin and belly rubs. Bruce needs an adult only home, somewhere he can relax with you and enjoy his senior years being spoiled rotten. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and current on his heartworm and flea prevention. Sound like the boy for you? Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. Bruce really hopes to meet you soon! 🐾❤️

Ally/St Petersburg

We’d like you to meet Ally!  Ally is a five year old 12 pound terrier mix with gorgeous blonde ombre hair and the cutest ears you’ve ever seen!!

Ally came from a hoarding situation, and spent most of her life outside without much  human interaction. She’s slowly learning to trust people and she’s so happy to be out of that horrible situation thanks to VIP rescue and she Is now experiencing how amazing it is to be loved and snuggled and live in the AC!!

Allie is shy, though she really wants to come out of her shell and enjoy love and attention. In the weeks since she has been in her foster home, she’s gone from being scared of everything and hiding from people to jumping up in her foster mom’s lap for pets, belly rubs, and snuggles. She often smiles and wiggles happily now, where only a few weeks ago she would cower and shake.  She loves following her foster mom around and being in whatever room the people are, even if she isn’t quite sure yet if she trusts them completely. She loves sleeping in the “big bed” snuggled up with her foster mom and foster sisters.

She loves playing with her foster sisters and is great with other dogs. Ally is house and crate trained but she doesn’t like being left alone.  She walks very nicely on a leash, but she is still jumpy and scared of cars and passersby during walks, so her new family will need to be very attentive during walks to keep her safe. A secured 6 foot fenced surrounding yard, attached to home, is REQUIRED to adopt Ally.

Ally would do best in a very calm, quiet, adult only home with people that are home most of the day and who have a fur sibling or two to keep her company and show her the ropes. She’ll need a very patient family who’s willing to give her the time and space she needs to warm up and become comfortable in her new surroundings. This is very very important, and she is totally worth it! Might you be that family she’s looking for? She sure hopes so! 🐾❤️

Ally has been spayed, microchipped and current on all vaccines and preventatives. If you’re interested in applying to adopt Ally, please visit www.viprescue.org

Fin / Indian Rocks Beach

*** WE DO NOT ADOPT OUT OF STATE***

Did you say you want a puppy? Well, you’ve come to the right place!

These adorable, affectionate and playful puppies were born 6/27/22, and are thought to be Chi/Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier mixes. There is one male, Fin (white with black ears) available. The mom, Fiona, is 11 lbs, but dad is unknown so adult weight could range from 10-20ish lbs. They are current on age-appropriate shots, spayed/neutered, microchipped and on heartworm and flea prevention.

If you are ready for a bouncy, high energy puppy, one of these sweet pups might be right for you!!!! They are ready to begin their journey with a family of their very own. They are working on tinkle pad training and then will graduate to leash and outdoor potty training. Puppies are tons of fun, but they do require LOTS of time, work and training on your part to be the best pup they can be! They need love, attention, routines and lots of consistency, especially for housebreaking! Their little bladders can’t hold it all day so please make sure you can commit to the puppy not being left along longer than 4 hours during the day. If that’s not possible, please consider one of our adult dogs which might be better suited for your lifestyle!

Our Volunteers will be in touch with those that meet the criteria for these puppies. Please visit www.viprescue.orgto fill out an adoption application and to also see the many other wonderful pets in our Rescue waiting for their “fur”ever home.🐾

Please submit an adoption application at www.viprescue.org

Fiona/Indian Rocks Beach

Available for Adoption

Meet Fiona! This precious dog came in to VIP Rescue with her 4 pups in tow. She has been an amazing momma, but now that her pups are weaned and well on their own ways, the time has come to find Fiona a home to call her own.

Fiona is a 4 year old chihuahua/dachshund/terrier mix. She currently weighs 11 1/2lbs. She is a petite, fit, active and well socialized dog. She is affectionate, cuddly and likes to be near her person. Foster mom’s lap is her preferred spot, but when that is not available, she is good at self entertaining with herself or others.

Fiona is great with other small to medium sized friendly dogs. She would do fine in a home as a single dog, or as an addition to a home that already has a dog. If you already have a dog, a meet and greet is required.

Fiona has not been cat tested, therefore, no cats please. She has not been kid tested either, but her foster believes she would do fine with dog socialized respectful kids 8+.

Fiona is advancing quickly with her leash manners and housebreaking skills. Although she would like a fenced in yard, Fiona would do fine with regularly scheduled walks. She is crate and potty pad trained. Fiona is not an excessive barker.

Fiona has been spayed, is up to date on her vaccinations, microchipped and on monthly flea and heartworm preventative.

Interested in meeting and welcoming Fiona into your home? Please apply today at VIPRescue.org

Butters/Seminole

Well, hi there! My name is Butters, and I’m a 2 year old 22lb Schnauzer/Terrier mix? I think? lol…It doesn’t really matter, cuz’ I’m just a great boy with alot of energy to burn. Yup, I’m THAT guy… Anywho, I recently came to Florida, and boy, is it ever hot here! Thankfully foster Mom has that A/C cranking to keep me cool. I like all the puppers in my foster home, and would do well with another dog in the home my size or even a bit bigger! I’m THAT guy! But listen, when I got here they told me I am positive for Heartworm disease, but don’t let that stuff stop you from adopting me cuz my friends here at VIP Rescue take care of ALL costs associated with my treatment. But…. ( always a but, right?) I CANNOT run around like a crazy boy, I can only go on VERY short walks when it’s cool out, or leashed in the backyard for potty breaks during treatment cuz’ Dogtor said those icky worms can break off and make me real sick if I’m too active. My Rescue friends will go over all that stuff in detail with you. Now, for the good stuff about me, I’m housebroken, have a s”smile” that doesn’t quit, and am an all around happy fella. I would be best in a home where the kids are at least 12+ or an adult only home would be swell too. If you do have another doggie, we’d have to meet to make sure we’ll be “fur” friends, k? I would like my human home more often than not, I get a’lil scared when I’m left for too long. Prefer a home with a fenced yard.  No Apartments or townhomes please. I’m neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and on heartworm and flea prevention now. Whatya think, huh? Am I a cutie or what? Please visit www.viprescue.org and fill out the adoption application so we can meet! Hope to see you soon! Love and tails wags, your friend, Butters 😘

Meet Daquiri!  He is an affectionate loving senior boy at 10 years old born 10/24/12.   Daquiri, his offspring and siblings were found on 5/22/2022 locked in pens outdoors with no access to food or water after their owner was found deceased.  Daquiri came to VIP Rescue weighing in at 41 pounds; he had lost 24 lbs. and was in dire shape when he came into rescue.   Under the excellent care of our VIP Rescue foster home, and our wonderful veterinarians, Daquiri has gained much of his weight back, was neutered, and is flourishing in his foster home.  He is ready to find his new home.

Daquiri is house trained, a Velcro dog, would love to sleep next to you on your bed and accompany you wherever you go.  In his prior home,

Daquiri was a certified Therapy Dog and was active in a local Therapy Dog organization.  He likes to go shopping with you, go out to eat with you, and kindly greet kids and adults while out with you.  He gets along well with the dogs in his foster home and others we have introduced him to.  He is friendly with adults and children alike. Daquiri walks beautifully on a leash, he likes to ride in the car with you and does well on the grooming table.  He barks after you come home as if to tell you his opinion about that!  Daquiri has diminished night vision, however, he can navigate fine inside a home and outside during daylight.  At night he likes to stay close to you. Daquiri is an easy dog, and does not ask for much……affection, quality food, walks, body rubs, naps, and frequent brushing and grooming.  He can still run and breaks out in poodle zoomies when outside in his fenced yard.  Daquiri is in great shape for his age!  He is looking for a home with open arms for a senior boy that has lots of love and time to share.

    .

Daquiri is recently neutered, up to date on all vaccines, heartworm negative, had a dental, and is microchipped.   Daquiri is fostered in Osteen, Florida.  To adopt Daquiri, you must come to meet him at his foster home, and introduce your dog(s) to him to make sure it is a match.  He has not been cat tested.

If you are interested in adopting Daquiri, please complete an adoption application at VIP Rescue to be considered. www.viprescue.org A home-visit is a pre-requisite in the adoption process at VIP RESCUE.  VIP Rescue reserves the right to approve or disapprove adoption applications submitted based on each dogs specific needs, their age, and the health of the dog we are adopting.

Daquiri’s adoption donation is $150.

Rio/Safety Harbor

Hey there! My name is Rio, and I’m a 4 month old 12 lb. Chihuahua Mix boy. I am a very active boy and love alot of attention as I am still a baby, so I need a family that has enough time to play with me and be able to devote time to training me to be the best boy I can be! I’m too young to be left alone for long periods of time, so someone who is home more often than not is what I’m looking for. I’m still working on this “potty training” thing ( I’m getting good at it!) and need to go out often. I love to play with other puppies so another active pup in the house would be beneficial. I am good with big and little dogs and curious with cats but don’t bother them or chase them. Adult only home please.

I’m neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and current on my heartworm and flea prevention. If you would to adopt me please go to www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application for me!

Oscar/Indian Rocks Beach

DOG WEIGHT: 15 lbs

GENDER: Male

HOUSE TRAINED:  Yes

Recommend Fenced Yard.

Meet Oscar! This handsome guy is a 2 year old  chihuahua/terrier mix. Oscar weighs 15 pounds.

Oscar came to VIP Rescue from a hoarding situation where 70 plus pups were housed outside in pens and small fenced in areas. Despite the horrible conditions he previously lived in, Oscar is adjusting incredibly well in his foster home and is now seeking a home to call his own.

Since arriving at VIP Rescue, Oscar has absolutely thrived learning the ins and outs of being an indoor dog. For example, we do not think he had ever been on a leash. Oscar now asks to go for walks and is advancing quickly with his leash manners and housebreaking skills. We do not think Oscar ever had the luxury of a bed or a couch. They are now his favorite places to rest. We do not think he had much human interaction in his prior world. He now seeks out affection from his foster. Truth is we do not think Oscar had much in his prior life, and while there is still lots to introduce him to, he has shown he is ready and excited to live life to its fullest!

Oscar can be a little shy when you first meet him, but he warms up quickly. He is affectionate and cuddle time with his foster mom has become a favorite pastime. He is playful and loves toys.

Oscar is great with other small to medium sized friendly dogs. He would do fine in a home as a single dog, or as an addition to a home that already has a dog. If you already have a dog, a meet and greet is required.

Oscar has not been cat or kid tested, therefore, no cats and kids 12+ only please. We will update his profile if we learn otherwise.

Oscar is crate trained and is not an excessive barker. He is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, microchipped and on monthly flea and heartworm preventative.

Interested in meeting and welcoming Oscar into your home? Please apply today at VIPRescue.org

DOG WEIGHT: 15 lbs

GENDER: Female

HOUSE TRAINED: Yes

LOCATION: Maderia Beach, FL

COLOR: Brownish/Tan

Recommend Fenced yard.

Hi! My name is Penny, my foster parents tell me I’m a Chiweenie, but I don’t know what that means! I’m just 3 years old and weigh about 15lbs. I love it when they talk to me, pet me, rub my belly, give me treats and take me for what they call ‘walkies’! Walkies and treats are my favorite, I like to dance for them when they say those words, it makes them smile and giggle. I have a foster sister dog, she’s a lot bigger than me but I like napping next to her and playing zoomies sometimes. I don’t really like toys, most of the time I like laying on the couch or sitting in your lap and looking outside! Speaking of outside, I came from a place where I lived outside with so many other dogs and no one loved on me or gave me treats. But now, I’ve learned to be an inside dog which is so much better. I’ve learned about how to go to the door when I need to go potty which is really pretty easy cause I’m pretty smart. I still like some outside time, cause I like to chase little lizards so a fenced in yard would be super cool. Some little people came over the other day with some bigger strangers, I didn’t know them, but my foster mom said they were nice. They were sweet to me and I sure liked them! I’m very happy in my foster home and have come out of my shell (I hope they don’t think I’m a turtle!) but I really would like to have a forever family that I could love, give kisses to and dance for. Could that be you? I’m spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and on heart worm and flea prevention. My bags are packed and I’m really ready to find the very bestest “fur” ever family. Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application for me! Hope to meet you soon! 🐾

original post

Hello all, my name is Penny, I’m a 3 year old 14 lb. chihuahua, maybe dachshund mix gal. I am as bright and shiny as a brand new cent. I am a little shy at first so you will have to be patient with me, but once you earn my trust and I know that you are my person I am stuck like glue to you. I am super sweet and love to snuggle. I was rescued from a hoarding situation and spent all of my life outside…but I am getting real used to the comfy couches, beds, pillows and my foster moms lap. I enjoy my morning walks and doing great on the leash. I am good with my foster sister but not sure about cats yet (haven’t met one yet)
I really don’t require a lot…just love and lots of belly rubs. I’m spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and current on my heartworm and flea prevention. With proper introduction, will consider respectful kids 8+ years. Due to me being shy a secure fenced yard would be best until I get comfortable and understand I can trust. Please go to www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application for me! ?

Buster/Redington Beach

Hi friends! My name is Buster, I’m a 20lb. 2 year old maltipoo searching for just the right home. I’m a cute boy who is lovin’ this Florida life, you see, I’m a true “southern” boy who is polite and knows my manners. I’m currently looking for a single adult only home, I don’t like to share my human, I want them all to myself, and sorry, no kids or cats either, but it’d be ok if you have a playful pup my size at home so I can have a buddy.  I’d also like a Mom or Dad that’s home more often than not, I’m not crazy about being alone for long periods of time. Foster Mom says I’m doing great with all my foster siblings, engaging in play but I also enjoy chilling with you watching TV. I’m neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and current on my heartworm and flea prevention. If you’d like to meet me, please go to www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application.

Otis/Redington Beach

This very sweet shy young man is Otis, a handsome 5 year old terrier mix, and all of 10 lbs. Otis loves to cuddle with his foster mom, napping on the sofa, playing with toys and bossing his foster siblings around! 🤷‍♀️ (we’re working on that)  Otis came to VIP Rescue from a hoarding situation where 70 plus pups were housed outside in pens and small fenced in areas. We are not sure how much human handling he has had and despite the horrible conditions he lived in, is a sweet pup. He likes pets, cuddles and kisses.  He is not sure where the best place to sleep is yet, but does enjoy a dog bed, or on the sofa during the day and has ventured in the human bed a night or two. Otis would benefit from a quieter family environment who’s home more often that not, and to let him know that life as he once knew it is no more, it’s all good from here! ❤️

Otis is neutered,  current on vaccines, micro chipped and on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application for  sweet Otis. ❤️🐾

Nyx/Redington Beach

Available for Adoption!!!

Well hello there friends of VIP Rescue! My name is Nyx, I’m a 2 year old 20 lb doodle/terrier mix boy. I’m a happy active guy who loves leash walks ( early morning is best) and I really love my foster Mom. I’m being a good boy learning the rules of the house especially with potty training, I’m working really hard on that and foster Mom said now that I’m neutered that should really help! I love to play with the other puppers in my foster home, so maybe a home that has an established ,confident,  playful pup about my size would be ok. Please remember I’m an active guy, so I think an active family would suit me best. I prefer my new human family to be home more often than not, I’m ok for just a few hours, but all day would definitely pose a challenge for me. I’ve been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and started on heartworm and flea prevention.

My suitcase is almost packed, hoping my new family comes along soon,  could that be you? (Who wouldn’t want the handsomest boy ever, right? 😉)

Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application for me! 🐾🐾🐾

Peachy/Holiday

How’s it going you ask? Just Peachy!

Peachy is an 8 year old, 10 lb female dachshund mix who came to VIPRescue.org in desperate need of care.
We treated her to a spa day with a fresh shampoo and blow dry, gave her some lovin’ and then headed to the vet to start the process to get her back it tip top shape.

She is ready to meet her furever family. Please do not apply if you have children under 12 years old or dogs over 25 lbs.

Unfortunately, she missed years of veterinary wellness visits and dentals so her mouth was full of infected rotting teeth…just Peachy.

With the help of a great vet and some heavy duty antibiotic to get the infection under control, she was able to keep keep some of her teeth (12 had to be extracted)…..just Peachy.

Now after her makeover, she is living the good life in her foster home. She is the sweetest, cuddly little girl.

You don’t have to look very hard to find her because she loves to be close to her human.

She loves leash walks, belly rubs and her kisses are the best.

Peachy, is spayed, has shiny clean teeth, current with her vaccines and on monthly heartworm/flea prevention.

Looking for a sweet Peachy for your quiet, loving home for Peachy?

If so please submit an application with viprescue.org to welcome this sweet girl in to your heart and home.

Toto/Seminole

When following the yellow brick road:  the Scarecrow was looking for a brain, the Lion was in search of courage, the Tinman was hoping to find a heart and Toto of VIP is in need of a human.  Our sweet little man is a gentle soul who is potty trained, leash trained and gets along well with his foster siblings (the canine type) and humans alike.

Toto is an eight year old Carin Terrier mix, weighing in at 19 pounds.  He enjoys naps on soft pillows and will snuggle with his human every chance he gets.  If you are looking for a sweet loving dog to fill your heart and one who makes his human the most important part of his day, please fill out our application today.

He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and started on flea and heartworm prevention, please go to www.viprescue.org and fill out an adoption application. Hope to meet you very soon!

Mama/Redington Beach –

Hello everyone, my name is Mama, I’m a 6 year old 7lb. Chiweenie mix gal. I arrived at VIP Rescue a couple of weeks ago, and boy, am I enjoying life! You see, me and my friends were considered “breeder” dogs in our former life, but, no more! I’m a great girl who can be a little shy at first, but once I feel safe, I’ll warm right up to you. I’d really prefer to be your one and only, I’m maybe a little selfish because I want you all to myself! I’ve never had a real family before, and am really looking forward to it. I absolutely love taking my early morning walks before it gets too hot out with foster Mom and my foster siblings. I’m crate and potty trained, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and started on flea and heartworm prevention. Foster Mom says that’s very important for all doggies to have! So, there ya have it, maybe I sound like the girl for you? If so, please go to www.viprescue.org and fill out an adoption application and foster Mom will be in touch! Have a great day and I hope to meet you very soon!

Andy/Indian Rocks Beach

We’d like you to meet sweet lil’ Andy! He’s a tiny 5 lb., 7 year young Chihuahua boy who recently arrived at VIP Rescue. He’s absolutely adorable, affectionate, loves his toys and is so very curious too! Andy gets along well with the others in his foster home, as long as they respect his space. He would do fine with another older dog, and if there are kids in the home, they should be older, at least 13+ due to his tiny size or an adult only home would be fine as well.  Andy is working on his housebreaking, and does use his potty pads consistently as well.

This precious little boy also came to us Heartworm positive, but please don’t let that stop you from adopting him. VIP Rescue covers ALL costs associated with his treatment, and a member of our team will go over all the protocols of a heartworm positive doggie with you. His new family needs to be within an hour of the Indian Rocks Beach, Fl area to bring him to his time sensitive Veterinary appointments for treatment. As if this wasn’t enough, Andy had a small tumor on his “private parts” that was successfully removed, but now and then his little “peek a boo” comes out and may stay out for a while. We won’t go into detail here, he is fine though, and his foster Mom will discuss all of this with the approved applicant. Andy is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and current on his heartworm and flea prevention So, there you have it! Want to meet this precious little boy? Please go to www.viprescue. org to fill out an adoption application. Andy can’t wait to meet you! 🐾❤️

Dax/Indian Rocks Beach

Available for Adoption

VIPRescue.org

Dax is a 9 month old, 15lb male chiweenie, with maybe a mix of mini pin (?). He has long legs and is fit, energetic, social and ready to go with you on adventures. Lots of personality and plenty of affection await you if Dax is your match. He would make a great side kick for someone looking for some fun and entertainment in their life. He would not do well in a home with a sedentary lifestyle.

Dax is housebroken and walks excellent on a leash. He loves long walks, weather permitting, and would make a fantastic walking fitness buddy. He needs space to run and get exercise. A single family home with a 6′ ft fenced yard is required.

Dax gets along excellent with other dogs. If you have a dog currently in your home, a meet and greet will be required. He would love a canine sibling, but would also thrive as an only dog so long as you are willing to be his best friend and adventure buddy.

Dax also loves kids, 8 and older only though please, due to his energy. Dax would not likely do well with cats. He is crate trained.

Dax is neutered, microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations and current on flea/heartworm prevention.

Interested in welcoming Dax into your home? Apply now at VIPRescue.org

Hurley/Redington Beach

VIP Rescue would like to welcome Hurley! He’s a 1 year old 19lb mix of Dachshund, maybe some Corgi, maybe some Basset Hound? He’s definitely a low rider and cute as a button! Hurley is a fun loving goofy fella, very playful and quite the cuddle boy. He gets along well with other doggies, and would definitely benefit from an active family to entertain him! Hurley is crate trained and learning his house manners, and could stand to put on a few pounds ( not too many!) as he is currently on the lean side. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and on his monthly heartworm/flea prevention. Do you think you have room in your heart and your home for this “paw” some guy? Please go to www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. Hurley’s bags are packed and he’s waiting patiently for his “fur” ever family to come along! 🐾❤️

Please submit an application with viprescue.org to welcome me into your home, lap and family.

Standard Poodle Puppies / Available for Adoption!! Located in: Port Orange/

Did you say you want a puppy? Well, you’ve come to the right place! Puppies are so adorable. If you  are ready for a bouncy, high energy puppy, one of these sweet pups might be right for you!!!! They are ready to begin their journey with a family of their very own. They are working on tinkle pad training and then will graduate to potty training and then on to leash training. Puppies are tons of fun but do require ALOT of work and training on your family’s part to be the best pup they can be! They need love, attention and lots of consistency especially for housebreaking! Their little bladders can’t hold it all day so please make sure you can commit to the puppy not being left along longer than 4 hours during the day. If that’s not possible, please consider one of our adult dogs which might be better suited for your lifestyle!

We now have Standard Poodle puppies available for adoption! Please read the information below carefully before submitting an application.

****Standard Poodles require monthly grooming, and frequent brushing, and these puppies are no exception. Early grooming of your dog will create good future habits. Standard Poodles are high energy, have a high prey drive, and require a grassy yard to exercise in that is fenced on all 4 sides with a 6-foot fence. They also need to be leash walked several times daily to stimulate their minds and to properly socialize them.  A home visit by VIP Rescue is a pre-requisite in the adoption process of these pups. Obedience training for the puppy is also highly recommended for this extremely intelligent breed of dog, and a high quality food is essential for their growth and development. VIP Rescue reserves the right to approve or disapprove adoption applications submitted based on each dogs specific needs. If your adoption application is approved, you will be required to travel to the dogs foster home to meet the dog. Mama dog is 45lbs and Baby Daddy is 58lbs. These pups were born on April 30th, 2022, which makes them just 8 weeks old. We have 4 males, and 4 females available. Please note on your application if you prefer a male or female, but please understand it is not a guarantee as we expect many many applications on these pups. Any incomplete application will NOT be processed. You should also call your Veterinarian’s office and give your permission for us to speak with them to gather the necessary information we need to process any applications. Our Volunteers will be in touch with those that meet the criteria for these puppies. Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application and to also see the many other wonderful pets in our Rescue waiting for their “fur”ever home.🐾

LUCY / Myakka City

Oh Lucy Lucy Lucy, how we love you so, you rambunctious, funny, high energy,  sweet and loving girl!

My name is Lucy, I’m a 3 year old 66 lb. Labradoodle, with the most gorgeous Chocolate brown coat you’ll ever see! Sit back and relax while I tell you a bit about myself.

What my friends at VIP said  up above, yup, I’m a handful of a girl! I’ve really had no training in my previous place, but foster Mom is working on that with me. You see, I didn’t have a comfy bed, or a couch to cuddle up on, but now? Wow, I LOVE this thing they call the “human“ bed that I think is my own!🤣 Mom calls my name and I come running  barreling through the house trying to get to her.(She might have treats or yummy food for me you know) Anyway, yeah, I’m a handful, but also sweet as sugar. I love these 2 legged creatures they call “humans” and I love both big and small doggies. Also, older kids would be better because of all my energy!

I’ll need regular grooming, so keep that in mind (and your budget)  if you’d like to adopt me. I’ll definitely need a secured fenced in grassy backyard and regular walks, and a family that can seriously devote time for me as I’m not the type to be left alone for long periods of time. You could say I’m a “family” girl!  I am housebroken, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and started on heart worm and flea prevention. Got a couch or a bed ready for me? I’ll be right here by foster Moms side waiting for you!

Love and many tail wags, your friend, Lucy ❤️🐾

Max/Redington Beach

Hi there, my name is Max. I’m a 1 year old Chorkie boy who weighs a mere 11lbs. I’ve got the most gorgeous blonde curls for a coat, some people would pay a fortune to get this color, ha! foster Mom says I could be a cover model! Silly foster Mommy 😁. Anywho, I’m a really sweet boy who loves to follow my human around and cuddle when they stop moving. I also love to sleep with foster Mommy, her bed is SO comfy! I like my early morning leash walks and I’m rapidly improving on my house manners. I’d be good as your one and only or maybe with a submissive pup if you have a pupper already at home. Don’t forget, I’ll need regular grooming to keep me looking my very best. I’m already neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and started on heartworm and flea prevention. My bags are packed, I’m ready to gooooooooo!. Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. Hope to meet you soon! 🐾

Bentley/Redington Beach

Are you looking for an adorable almost 4 year old 19lb scruffy terrier boy? HEY!!!! That’s MEEEEEEEE! My name is Bentley, and guess what? My birthday is real soon (July 11th!) and I’d really love to be in my furever home by then so we can celebrate my birthday together, maybe my new “paw”rents can even throw me a “paw”ty? Wow, that’d be terrific!

I love leash walks, car rides and most of all…..cuddling….yup, my fave! I’m not a fan of being left alone for long periods of time, so if you work from home or are retired, that’d be swell. I don’t like my crate, but I do settle down after a few minutes and play with a toy or take a nap. I came from a home where I was their one and only, so in my foster home I make my way to the front of the line for everything! I think I’d be ok with a submissive doggie friend if you have one. We’d have to meet first, just to make sure we’ll be the bestest friends! Oh, and don’t forget, I’ll need regular grooming to keep me being the handsomest boy ever.

I’ve been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and started on heartworm and flea prevention. So how about it, am I the boy for you? Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application for me. HURRY…let’s get this “paw”ty started! 🐾❤️🎁🎉

Silvy/St Petersburg

Hello there everyone!

Are you looking for the complete package? The perfect “fur”ever friend? Then you need to look no further. I’m Silvy a 3 year old 16lb Jack Russell Terrier Mix. Not only am I so pretty,  I’m an easy going and friendly pup who likes to do Zoomies in the yard, go for long walks in the park, and get lots of cuddles. I will even do a little dance at meal time. ( yeah, I’m that cute!) I get along with other doggies, so if you have one at home already, we’ll need to meet first to make sure all is good! I’d like a family who has a fenced in backyard for us to play in, that’d be really cool. As I said, I really like those “zoomies!”  I’m already potty trained, crate trained, and I sleep through the night. Yup, perfection I tell ya! I’m spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and current on my heartworm and flea prevention. I’m ready to GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Ha! Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application! Hope to see you soon!

Abbey/Holiday

We’d like you to meet one of the many newest additions to VIP Rescue. Abbey is a 13 year young tiny 8 lbs. Chihuahua mix gal. She’s not quite sure of all the goings on in her little life right now, so she’s a bit shy and maybe even a little “standoffish”. She is a sweet as they come once she feels comfortable and trusts you. Quick moves, or if you pick her up too quick, make her very nervous. But….once she feels safe with you, it’s all good and she’ll follow you around and even cuddle with you like she’s known you all her life. She does great on her early morning leash walks, (she really enjoys that) and has been comfy sleeping in a dog bed next to her foster parents bed, or snuggled in a “bankie” in a chair. She will need doggie stairs to reach that favorite chair or couch since she’s so tiny. Abbey gets along well with other doggies, but due to her size and her shyness, she’ll need a quiet adult only home to chill in and enjoy her golden years. Sweet lil’ Abbey is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and is on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application for this little princess!

Nenzo/Seminole

Available for Adoption!!

Introducing Nenzo! Just like the meaning of his name, he has an electric personality, is gentle and cooperative, and very playful. Nenzo is a super handsome 13-month old boy who weighs about 70 lbs. He is housebroken and crate trained. He’s a Black Lab Mix who loves all people and is great with children. He loves to play with other dogs and go to dog parks. Nenzo is smart, has had basic obedience training, and is a good-spirited boy. Nenzo would benefit from an active family, as he loves to play play play! He’d be best in a single family home with a secure fenced in backyard for playtime. If you’re that active family without kids or with kids (he does well with kids, we suggest 8+ due to activity level) he just might be the guy for you! He’s completely vetted to include neuter, vaccinations, microchip and on heartworm and flea prevention. His bags are packed and he’s ready to go home!

Please fill out an adoption application at www.viprescue.org  Nenzo can’t wait to meet his new family!

Penelope/Seminole

Hello Florida friends! My name is Penelope,(cute, huh?) I’m a 20lb. 7 month old sweetheart of a pup who absolutely loves all dogs, people and kids! When you call my name, I come running, lay on my back and wait for those pawsome belly rubs to begin! Oh my, how I love my belly rubs!
My family had a DNA test done on me, and guess what it said? I’m 50% Boston Terrier, 25% Australian Cattle dog and 12.5 Basset Hound ! Holy cow, some mix, huh? But I tell you what, you aren’t gonna find anything sweeter than lil ole’ me! 🤭 I’ll be honest, I’m a really really high energy girl who needs an active family with a 6ft secured fenced in backyard so we can play play play! I’m still kinda young and I’m really trying to get the hang of this “potty training” thing, I bet if you work with me and take me outside for frequent potty breaks and maybe even reward me with treats when I do, I’ll get it down pat. (I promise I will, you just need to be patient with me) I’m still a growing girl, and will get a bit bigger, maybe 30-40lbs. ish? Please take that into consideration as well.
I’ve been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and I’m on heart worm and flea prevention. I’m really ready to find my “fur” ever family, I sure hope they’re out there looking for a great pup like me. Please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. Hope to meet you soon, Licks and wags, Penelope 🐾❤️

Zoey/Redington Beach

We’d like to introduce “Miss” Zoey! She’s a fabulous 4 year old 44 lb. Standard Poodle. Zoey is a very sweet, affectionate, loyal companion gal who knows her basic commands, enjoys walks and loves going “bye bye” car! She gets along well with other dogs, and does best playing with dogs similar in size. She has never been cat tested, and being she does better with dogs similar to her size, we recommend no felines in the home. She learns routines quickly, and being the good girl that she is, gets to roam free throughout the house. Due to Zoeys high energy level, a home with a secure 6ft. fence is required. Please keep in mind that Zoey will require regular grooming appointments because, you know, we girls always like to look our best! 😉If you have another pup in the home, that’s great, but Zoey would like to meet them first to make sure they’ll be the “bestest” friends! Zoey is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines and on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. If you’re interested in this amazing girl, please fill out an adoption application at www.viprescue.orgZoey wanted everyone to know her bags are packed and she’s patiently waiting for her new “fur” ever family! 🐾❤️

Thor and Loki – Redington BEach

Thor and Loki were welcomed into VIP Rescue this past week after their owner passed away and their caregiver could no longer care for them. They are bonded brothers and cannot be separated.

They are both seven years young, and we’re told they are peekpoos, but we’re thinking maybe shih~poo? It doesn’t really matter, because they are both adorable! They will definitely need to be groomed on a regular basis, so please remember this if you’re submitting an application. They are working on their house manners and making rapid progress. They are tinkle pad trained and a delight on a leash. They do get along with other pups, but we believe they would thrive as the only pups in their furever home.  They need a home without cats.

Thor (white pup) is on the “chunky” side being 29 pounds.  He Is a little love bug, and we’re convinced his incredibly beautiful sweet begging eyes have led him to being over fed! He’s currently on a reduced fat diet and will need to continue on this until he gets down to a healthier weight.

Loki(brown pup) weighs in at 19 pounds, and could stand to lose an extra couple pounds as well. But, with all this being said, it’s just more dog to love, right? 😉 Both boys are crate trained for sleeping at night, and will also hang out in their crate with the door open during the day to relax. If permitted, they may even choose to sleep with you as they also enjoy sleeping on a soft chair or couch.

Where you find one you will find the other close by if not right next to each other. They are the true meaning of “bonded”.

Loki and Thor are neutered, up-to-date with their vaccines, micro chipped and on monthly heartworm and flea prevention.

If you would like to welcome this snuggly team of two into your heart and home, please submit an application to viprescue.org. Loki and Thor can’t wait to meet their new “fur” ever family real soon! 🐾❤️

Moose/St Petersburg

Hi!!! I’m Moose. If you need a handsome wingman, look no further.  With my rockstar hair, heartthrob smile, and celebrity-sized personality you can’t go wrong with me!  I’m an outgoing, affectionate, super-smart, awesome dude who will make you smile til your face hurts.

Weighing in at 10 pounds and one-year-old, I am great on a leash and super friendly with humans and other dogs! I have tons of energy, love playing ball and going on walks, and will be able to keep up with you and all your activities!
Since I did start my life on the wrong side of the tracks, I will need your patience and help to teach me the rules about the finer things in life (like potty training and crate training) and refining my house manners.

I’m neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines and monthly preventatives. So what are you waiting for??  Let’s go hit the town!!  Please submit an application with VIPRescue.org.

WE DO NOT ADOPT OUT OF STATE

These 2 precious Shih Tzu girls have quite a sad story that we’re going to share with you. They both were “breeder” dogs and sadly their human could no longer properly care for them for the past several months. Kenna and Krystal along with 5 other dogs were found locked in pens with no access to food or water after their owner was found deceased. The girls were in horrible condition and obviously very hungry.

Keena is a blonde/grey and tan 11 lb 7 year old gal, while Krystal is white/blonde and tan 10lb. 5 year old girl.
When the girls went to the Vet, it was discovered that Keena had “pyometra”, (an infected uterus) and had surgery immediately to remove the infected uterus. She was doing good, and then, a few days later, developed a secondary infection which required a 2nd surgery to put a drain in! More antibiotics were started and she’s now feeling much better ❤️.

Krystal is a really sweet girl who has lost an eye due to glaucoma a few years ago. She does have some depth issues and occasionally bumps into things and does need help with stairs, but when she gets the “lay of the land” she does well. Both girls are doing well with house training as long as they get out enough and are crate trained as well. Please understand they are “ bonded “ and will need to be adopted together to an adult only home and with someone who is home more often than not. Sorry, there will be no exceptions.

The girls have been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, had dentals and have been started on heart worm and flea prevention. They currently eat Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream grain free food due to food sensitivities. If you have room in your heart AND home for both of these girls, please go to www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. They hope to hear from you soon!🐾❤️

Cindy/Holiday

Hi everyone, I’m Cindy. I’m chilling out here in Holiday, Fl and enjoying the good life, I’m originally from Louisiana and I most definitely have that laid back Louisiana personality, easy going and loving. I get along well with all the other dogs in my foster home, and just adore my foster “paw”rents. They take me for walks and give me tons of attention (which I LOVE!) and let me lay around wherever I want. I gotta tell you, it’s a dog’s life for sure, there’s nothing better! This Florida gig is pretty swell!

I’m 5 years old, weigh about 25 pounds, and am a white and cream color. I’m really quite pretty if I don’t say so myself!? I’ve been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and started on flea and heartworm prevention, my foster “paw”rents say that’s so important!

I’d love to meet you, and I’m sure once you meet me you will fall straight up in love with me. Please fill out an application at www.viprescue.org
I sure hope my “fur”ever family comes along real soon! ???

Tinkerbell/Redington Beach

**We do not ship our pets. In state adoptions only**

Did someone say they wanted a puppy? Lookie here! We’d like you to meet Tinker. This little sweetie was born on 1/11/2022. We’ve been told Mommy was a shih tzu, and Daddy was a chihuahua. Our best guess if that’s correct is that they should be around 20lbs. full grown but again, that’s only a guess at this point! Now that you have found that perfect little darling, we want to make sure you’re ready for that bouncy, high energy shoe eating little pupper!

Puppies are tons of fun but do require ALOT of work and training on your family’s part so that they will be the best pup they can be. They need love, attention and lots of consistency especially for housebreaking! Their little bladders can’t hold it all day while you’re at work, so you’ll definitely need someone home more often than not. (Pups this young need to be fed 3x a day until they get older)  If that’s not possible, please consider one of our adult dogs which might be better suited for your lifestyle! She is spayed, has age appropriate vaccines, is microchipped and started on heartworm and flea prevention. Although she is too young to be tested for heartworm, we always start our pups on prevention at this age. It’s so important! If you feel you’ve got the time and commitment for these pups, please visit www.viprescue.org and fill out an adoption application. Please understand, we do expect a lot of interest for them, therefore, incomplete applications will not be considered.

Milo/Redington Beach

Through no fault of his own, Milo is back in the loving, caring hands of our director and foster.  Unfortunately the previous adopters life became overwhelming and could no longer care for Milo in the lifestyle he deserves.  Do to excessive matting he was shaved down, we did our best to keep as much of his beautiful coat as we could.  We have included photos of him with his hair grown out a bit.  It won’t take long for him to be the handsomest guy around.
Here is a little bit about this sweet guy!!!

Howdy Rescue world!!! I’m Milo, a Shih Tzu mix, who’s thought to be about 11-12 years old, a senior, and all of 11 lbs.  I am in search of a quiet, laid back, loving adult home to spend my golden years in, I don’t require much, a roof over my head, a human or two that will pamper me with good food, some gentle cuddles and help me get outside to do my business.  I am working on my house manners, If you take me out frequently, I do my business outside.  I do have cataracts and have lost some of my vision, but my nose works real good especially when there’s food involved, I’m right there!

I LOVE the outdoors, if my new home would have a grassy space, I will wonder around for a good bit of time and lay in the shade to enjoy the Florida sunshine…  As for walks, I love to ride around with my foster mom as she walks the other pups in the house,  She has this cool thing called a “sling”, I get to hang out and get carried around, I also love leash walks I just go a little slow.  My nose works overtime on these fresh outdoor walks.   Do you think I might be the guy for you? I sure hope so! I am neutered, current on my vaccines, had a recent dental, microchipped and on heartworm and flea prevention too. Please submit your adoption application to www.viprescue.org. I hope to meet my new “fur” ever family real soon! Love and tail wags, your friend, Milo.

Bonnie and Clyde- BONDED

Redington Beach – Available for adoption

VIP rescue received a plea very late one evening recently for these two itty bitty chihuahua mixes. Sadly, they were set to be euthanized the next day in a rural shelter in the south simply because there was no space left for anymore dogs. This is NOT the shelters fault, it is a worldwide overpopulation problem, plain and simple. Ok, now let’s talk about these sweeties. Our amazing Director ( and also their foster Mom) met the overnight transport and brought these babes to safety with VIP Rescue. We have named them Bonnie and Clyde, Bonnie is 2 years old (black and white) and Clyde is 3 years old (mostly white – with a little heart shaped black mark on his back) and are both just 7lbs of total sweetness! We have found them to be TOTALLY bonded, and MUST be adopted together, sorry, absolutely no exceptions. They do everything together, eat, sleep, give kisses, play and ask nicely for attention, except walk on a leash together! Clyde is good on the leash and Bonnie, well, she is having none of it! She screams and barrel rolls🤣🤣. She should come around eventually, we’ll maybe, hopefully 😉, she just needs time, patience and encouragement. They both love attention and are happy to sit in your lap for hours, but are also content to cuddle up together in their doggie bed too. They get along great with the other pups in their foster home, but have not been cat or kid tested. Older, respectful children would most likely be ok. We do recommend a secure fenced in yard/area for them due to their size and the fact that Bonnie is not ready to go for walks just yet. They are both spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and started on heartworm and flea prevention. So, what do you think? Do you have room in your heart and your home for a total of 14lbs of adorableness? 😄 Please remember, they MUST be adopted together, and we only do IN STATE ADOPTIONS. Please submit your application to www.viprescue.org for consideration! 🐾❤️
